With any movement I was in excruciating pain. It was the type of pain you just want to scream and are so helpless. I was so lucky to be squeezed in today (on New Years Eve) by Dr. Su. My experienced with Dr. Su was like no other chiropractic experience I've had before. He intertwines his extensive education with Chinese medicine. I was able to actually move my neck when he was done with me. I trusted him and his techniques involving scraping, needling and cupping. I literally thought I was going to walk in and get the basic adjustment, but he really took it to the next level with his techniques and knowledge on pain. To top it all off, he was extremely friendly and easy to talk to. It's so hard to find any Dr. like Him. He educated me on ways to strengthen my back and posture in kind and informative ways. He didn't just say "go work out". It's been almost 10 hours since my visit and I am already able to move without sharp pains, and feel 10 times better than when I walked in. He's magic! I'm so thankful for this experience and would recommend Dr. Su to anyone. Thank you Beyond Wellness for the awesome experience.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but after three separate scheduling issues, I feel compelled to…read moreshare my experience. On one occasion, I arrived for a scheduled massage therapy appointment only to be told that I did not have an appointment that day. Most recently, I called to confirm my appointment and discovered that it had been canceled without my knowledge. Had I not called ahead, I would have wasted my time traveling to the office only to be turned away. Unfortunately, this is not an isolated incident. This pattern of appointment cancellations and scheduling errors has now happened three times. I also want to note that when I need to cancel an appointment, I provide sufficient notice so the appointment can be offered to another patient and the time slot can be filled. For patients seeking massage therapy as part of their medical care and pain management, reliable scheduling is not a luxury--it is a necessity. Many of us plan our work schedules, childcare, transportation, and treatment plans around these appointments. Having appointments canceled without notification is frustrating and, in my opinion, unacceptable. The therapists are excellent, but prospective patients should carefully consider whether they are comfortable with the risk of last-minute scheduling issues and the possibility of arriving for an appointment that may not be honored as expected. I sincerely hope the practice addresses these administrative problems, as they have significantly affected my confidence in the office.

Given this, I want to make sure that anyone who is considering going to this clinic is aware and level sets expectations before any treatment begins. To this day, I am still suffering from the massive setback that the visit caused. If I could give negative stars, I would,, the pain I am in is excruciating and worse than it was before my injury. This is the email that I sent on May 22, 2025: Hello, I wanted to follow up on my recent visit to share feedback about my experience. When I came in, I communicated that I was dealing with a combination of SI joint pain, hamstring strain, sciatica, and piriformis discomfort. At the time of my appointment, I was about 70% recovered and progressing well in my healing journey. During the visit, I was asked to lie face down, and then without any discussion, my legs were forcefully swung outward from the hips, side to side multiple times. The motion felt abrupt and jarring, and unfortunately, when I woke up the next morning, I experienced a significant setback. The progress I had made was essentially undone--I could barely move and found myself back at square one in terms of mobility and pain. Additionally, there were two attempts to adjust my neck that were both unsuccessful and quite painful. When I shared this experience with both my spine and pain doctor and my physical therapist, they were very disappointed to hear what happened and strongly advised me not to return to chiropractic care, given the nature of my injuries. They emphasized that aggressive manipulation in my case could be harmful--and unfortunately, that seems to have been true. While I understand that chiropractic care involves physical manipulation, not enough care was taken to understand or work with the specifics of my condition before proceeding with such aggressive adjustments. I provided a very comprehensive background of my health history, including my current condition prior to the appointment. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated, especially given how much effort I had put into my recovery up to that point. Rather than posting a public review, I believe it is more constructive to reach out directly and encourage a more mindful, individualized approach with future patients--particularly those dealing with complex sports-related injuries. Everyone's body is different, and what may be routine for one person can be harmful to another. I sincerely hope this feedback is taken in the spirit of growth and care, and overall safety for all patients. Wendy
