I have been seeing Dr Tran now for 3 years and consider him just as important as my PRimary care physician. I have some beck and back issues from a car accident 20 years ago where someone hit me head on. Dr Tran helps me to live a pain free and painkiller free lifestyle His practice is not one of the cattle call practices where you are in and out in 5 minutes. A visit at Optimal Chiro Rehab is an experience in wellness. A typical visit includes acupuncture, cupping and an adjustment and lasts about an hour. This past year I also added physical Therapy to try and correct some underlying problems. I learned I was compensating way too much, and some muscles were very weak. A car accident was the reason for my original visit, where we worked lowering the pain from whiplash and then started working on my core. On several occasions when I could not even turn my neck due to poor sleeping posture or injury, Dr. Tran quickly alleviated my pain by providing a combination of acupuncture, cupping and chiropractic methods. The amazing thing about his style of treatment is that he combines all three concepts to produce a holistic healing process. I've been to regular chiropractors and they may alleviate the pain initially by massaging or cracking a few bones, but it does not go away. I'd end up having to come back regular. Dr. Tran's method actually cures and heals the ailment where I don't have to go back. However, one must go through the prescribed treatment because the healing must be complete. I'm currently going through shoulder therapy due to an injury. Within minutes, I was able to move my arm without pain in the shoulder. Seeing a regular doctor didn't help initially because there really wasn't much of a cure. I was told to just rest and let it heal and drink some anti-inflammatory pills. That didn't work. By the time my arm ached so bad where I couldn't sleep at night, that's when I decided to visit Dr. Tran. I realize as I get older, 47 years young, my body requires good posture and proper treatment before it gets worse. I've been to plenty of chiropractic offices. Heck I've even worked for one. But Dr. Tran and Dr. Moon are very knowledgeable and honest about their version of treatment. Not only do I get chiro adjustments, they also can perform acupuncture, Chinese cupping, and even physical therapy. It's definitely a 1 stop shop. I'm not much of a believer when it comes to Eastern holistic medicine, especially the jokes around our friends had always been "chiropractors are masseuses without happy endings" though Dr. Tran and his practice have proven me wrong and convert me into believer. Best decision I've ever made! Was I hesitant at first? Yes! I've have herniated disk is my lower back for over 11 years. Dr. Tran gave me nearly immediate pain relief with cupping/acupuncture. My running hobby came to a screeching halt suddenly 1.4 years ago due to my back. I've seen a few chiropractor in the area and Dr. Tran by far is the best one in my experience. I first started going to him on the recommendation from my husband. I had some neck, shoulder and lower back pain due to sitting in an office all day. Dr. Tran took the time in my initial evaluation to explain the causes and walked me through the treatment plan. Unlike the other chiropractors, who only do one initial evaluation, give the same treatment each time and are only available for a few minutes during adjustments. Dr. Tran takes the time to talk to me before each session to understands the issue and follows up on any previous conditions, then decides the treatment depending on what we discussed. Each session is personalized. His goal is not to just get patients in an out of the office as fast as possible, but he truly cares about his patients' wellbeing and overall health. This became more evident recently when I was diagnosed with SPD (Symphysis Public Dysfunction) at 30 weeks of pregnancy. My pelvic pain was so severe that I was hospitalized and was bedridden for a week. I needed help with the basic tasks, such as turning in bed, putting on clothes and even walking. I went to another physical therapist and immediately realized there was nothing they could do for me. The physical therapist gave me some papers with standard floor exercises (that was impossible for someone in pain to do) and then told me that I just had to deal with the pain, then sent me on my way after seeing me for 15 minutes. Dr. Tran took the time and listened to my concerns, and treated me with cupping, acupuncture, heat therapy, along with adjustments. He also recommended core strengthening exercises, and showed me and made sure I could do them with my pain level. The treatments really helped with my condition and alleviated the pain.
