When the chef was asked she said "she didn't know what gluten was before today" which was concerning for the safety of those with allergies. Considering it was something mentioned during the planning and food selection the chef appeared to have not done any research on her end to learn more about it (if she was not experienced in that type of food). As a professional I assumed she would have come knowledgeable and able to accommodate. Although the food tasted good there was not enough. Each person only had 1 skewer of chicken kabob which only had 3/4 small pieces of chicken. At the end of dinner everyone was left hungry and wishing there was more. Thankfully there was a little more vegetables but not enough for all of us. It was surprising given all pictures/social media posts look like theres a surplus of food. We also paid an upcharge for the lobster rolls which were mini and only one per person. I assumed it would have been at least 2 per person and more lobster inside considering it was an upcharge. Overall we were left disappointed in the amount of food for what we paid, although what we ate did taste good. We ate snacks that we had in the house after she was gone. It was very unfortunate as we had higher expectations.

I ordered two boards for a relaxed informal dinner party for close friends. We were celebrating my bfs newly renovated kitchen completion and honoring my beloved friends with my first post pandemic party since starting a new journey in life. I called Alex who assessed my needs and house layout for 20-30 guests, and concluded that two boards would work best based on the dinner and entertainment. Delivery was nominal and she worked with me on the drop off time since i was running around. Alex was sweet, explained everything and was just the best customer service. The boards happened to fit into the fridge perfectly. They were packed and taped up nicely . She even wrote out a list of all the ingredients she used omg. The boards were life, the guests could not stop talking about them. They were MORE than enough for our hungry pre dinner discerning crowd, many kept eating off the boards well after dinner. So here goes: Communication They showed a lack of proper communication, professionalism and attention to detail. When I say they, I really mean CA as I had very little interaction with anyone else. There were multiple occasions where my emails would go unanswered and I had to follow up multiple times in order to get a response. I understand we are all busy and I don't expect an immediate response however allowing several days/weeks to go by without a response was a bit frustrating. Once I did get a response, all my questions would not be answered and I had to follow up again. Extremely frustrating! Hors d'oeuvres and the dinner The majority of the hors d'oeuvres were bland, tasteless and lacked presentation. The dinner was not much better. I heard this from multiple guests which was quite embarrassing. I was supposed to have a dual course menu of chicken and shrimp, however some people never received shrimp and those that did only received 1!? Some of our guests had to request for the shrimp which again was quite embarrassing and disappointing, considering the amount of money I paid him. My photographers never received their dinner. I was especially disappointed about this because they worked really hard all day and should have had a proper dinner. I can only imagine they were starving! When my sister inquired about the food for the vendors, she was told that guests will be served first and then the vendors, which is understandable, however this did not happen. The signature drink This was one of my biggest disappointments. I had specifically requested for a signature drink- pisco sour. Unfortunately, it did not taste authentic at all and it definitely did not taste the same as when I sampled it during the tasting. To be honest I am not sure if it even had pisco in it. I ordered one from the bar during a slow time and the bartender did not use a blender, no lime, and no egg. The purpose of the specialty drink was to add a special Peruvian touch, however it was embarrassing to serve this as a pisco sour. Professionalism We were disappointed that my husband and I were confronted about a table seating mishap as we were getting ready to walk out on to the dance floor for the first time as Mr. and Mrs. Plunkett. This was very bad timing and expected more from the staff than to be pressured and questioned at a crucial time. Cupcake Tower (wedding cake) Extremely disappointed by the cupcakes. The frosting of the cupcakes were all melted!! Butter cream was used even though I specifically requested cream cheese frosting. I cannot express how disappointed I was by this. Really?!?
