We've had the Mongolian Beef (very good), General Tso's Chicken (very good), Vegetable Egg Foo Young (nothing spectacular), wonton soup (tasty), pork egg rolls (good), vegetable and pork friend rice (yummy), and the vegetable lo mein (fair). Very mid, very basic, not much flavor. I got the fried chicken wing dinner, and the wings don't have that "Chinese food wings" flavor that I find in most other Chinese food spots. These are lacking flavor and remind me of something most yt ppl would make. The rice is ok, slightly overcooked, and the crab rangoons are also lacking flavor. China Star up the street is MUCH much better, but they're closed on Tuesdays so I decided to give this place a try. Never again. Also, if you're ordering for the lunch special, call before 3pm. The menu is apparently wrong as it says the lunch special ends at 3:30pm. I called right at 3 and was told the lunch special ended. They definitely could have taken my lunch order since they don't have any updated menu photos to reflect that. There was also no one there, empty and quiet ambiance. That's a sign too. The best wings in town! Hands down!! They been around forever . They are my family's go to for when family is over . The honey wings and lemon pepper are to die for and they are large and with a lot of sauce and crispy but not burnt- they're just perfect. They aren't stingy with portion sizes - and they are super fast and nice . Deliver fee is like two or three bucks . The hot sauce packets they have also are super good - gotta try it Also note that it's more of a take out delivery type of place not a soooo much of the spot to go for a fancy or large party dinner location. I love silver pon to go! The service is always nice and quick and the staff is welcoming! I remember the nice young lady offered me homemade lemonade to try which was so kind! I didn't know they serve fresh lemonade :) my food is always hot and it's my family's go to for feeding everyone on a lazy day. The restaurant has limited seating because it's more of a grab and go! The young lady who answers the phone is always very pleasant, patient and thorough when you place large or small orders. She is very polite and kind when you ask for condiments or silverware. This is a local Chinese take out restaurant, they have a few tables if you wanted to eat in. There food is good. Never had an issue with the service. The house fried rice is good. I also like to get their honey glazed fried chicken with fries it's crispy and breaded just right. I tried there lemon pepper wings and it wasn't as good as the honey wings in my opinion. This place doesn't look like much from the outside nor from the inside, but wow is their food delicious. We were introduced to this place by a good friend of ours who had been going here for years prior to moving away. There used to be different owners and a different name on the door, but the food quality seems to have stayed consistent. We are in love with their general tso's chicken and their sweet and sour chicken. They also have very good garlic chicken. Nothing is ever overcooked or overly sauced or very salty. They make vegetables taste good and make me love egg rolls even though I typically prefer a veggie spring roll. They are comparably priced with other Chinese fast food places nearby but 10x more delicious. My boyfriend is not a huge fan of Chinese fast food and he loves this place. We have never ordered their food to-go or for delivery and we usually eat in their small dine-in area. The tables aren't super well kept (I think they're mostly there for people who are waiting for their orders rather than people who are interested in eating there) and the restaurant can be on the hot side (temperature wise) but if you can't wait until you get home to eat, it does the job well. read more

This place has -0- ambiance- of course it's a takeout place- but as a former Nu Yawka, who is definitely finicky about Chinese food, I must say it rarely disappoints. I've been coming to this restaurant for years! It's changed hands three times and the food is still great. Don't expect gourmet Chinese food, but out of all the small, family owned Chinese Takeout places you can find on almost any corner, to me this one is the best. The owners have always been friendly, and the food is always fresh, inexpensive, and delicious. The Crab Rangoon has NO Crab, just cream cheese. The Pork wontons are simply a sausage in wonton fried. All would be much better if fresh and unique. Kids like the beef on a stick appetizer. Soup =. The egg drop soup is delicious and full of egg which even the kids like. Lo-Mein versus Fried Rice =. The Lo Mein has a fair sauce and small portion of pork or chicken. No longer part of family meal. The House fried rice needs improvement in seasoning and protein. Entrees = kids love the fried chicken sweet sour which is standard and slightly greasy. The Beef Broccoli is good and sauce is nice but needs equal Beef to broccoli as almost all vegetable. The Sesame Chicken is delicious and we all love it. The Orange Chicken is quite similar to sesame chicken and did not have orange hints. We would love to see something like Mongolian Beef added to these meals to be unique. The family is nice and cool in front of you. Pricing is fair and they are usually ready within 10-15 minutes for meal to be done and packaged. This was some of the worse Chinese food I have ever had. Egg rolls were dry. The crab Rangoon was soggy and chewy. The fantail shrimp was inside a soggy pasty dough. The chicken wings were over cooked. The beef on a stick was the only edible part of the PU PU platter. The noodles in the shrimp lo mein were overcooked. Usually I leave a Chinese restaurant with leftovers, but we left everything. The service was slow. The place is designed for takeout but did have some tables. We had to endure the assumed female manger yelling at the help in Chinese. The floor was dirty and my wife went next to a Subway to use their bathroom rather than venture into the rear of the space in search of a bathroom.
