This place has always been amazing for us, our go to for true Chinese food. The staff is always nice. Ordering online is so easy, it's fast and the food taste amazing and fresh. We have never eaten inside but it looks inviting and very clean.

Dragon Tea House is a serene restaurant located in the East Commercial Plaza that offers a variety of Szechuan & Cantonese dishes at reasonable prices. After greeting the female employee behind the counter, I placed an order for steamed dumplings, a pint of special lo mein, and a pint of wonton soup. I also asked for a small pack of fried wonton noodles ($.50 a pack) for some added crunch for the soup. Here's my take on the food once I got home.... * Six steamed, textured dumplings with lightly seasoned pork filling. Complemented with a palatable dipping sauce. * The wonton soup contained four delicious meat-filled wontons with scallions, and pieces of roast pork in a tasteful broth. The wonton noodles added some crunchiness. * The special lo mein was absolutely flavorful and delicious. It was a mixture of soft noodles, tender pieces of chicken & roast pork, jumbo shrimp, snow peas, and bok choy. The food was enjoyable and tasted fresh without being oily or salty. I would definitely like to come back and try some of their other dishes soon.

Absolutely delicious chinese food! I'm not a big soup person, but I love their vegetable soup. The spring rolls are ok, but their fried rice and white rice are delicious. I can't wait to order from here again!

I've been ordering here for years. The food is always fresh. The ambience is nice inside They have both that you can sit down in. But I normally order my food to pick up. The customer service is OK.

Wow! Good Chinese food in Fort Lauderdale, I didn't know it existed until I tried Dragon Tea House. If you're like me you've tried multiple Chinese restaurants in the area and realized they're all pretty awful--mystery meat, bland flavor, and ratios of 80-20 breading to meat. I can't tell you how happy I am to have found DTH. I got the steamed pork dumplings as an appetizer and they tasted great. They're also quite large which was great. The real gem of the order was the orange chicken. Big pieces of real white meat chicken wrapped in perfect layer of breading and delicious orange sauce. It was amazing and will be my new go-to. Another thing I loved was that someone from the restaurant actually delivered my ordered. We all know what it's like these days with the DD or UE drivers who dont give a _____ what happens to your food and your stuck with a bag covered in leaking sauce. This deliver driver was great and delivered my food directly to me with a smile of appreciation, Try this place, you won't be disappointed

3 stars across the board for food service and ambience. Fairly priced just OK Chinese food in a slightly grim shopping plaza. 3 star food: Food is OK and moderately priced. It's basic and filling. 3 star ambience: the exterior shopping plaza is a little grim. Interior was recently renovated and is clean / functional. 3 star service: Service is also basic and sparse. My impression was takeout or delivery is a better idea.

Family tradition of Christmas Eve takeout was satisfied by Dragon Teahouse. Located in an older plaza off of Commercial Blvd, it has been updated from what I remember. The order was ready quickly, and the staff was friendly. They offer a variety of dishes in pint and quart sizes along with combination dinners. We had the veggie lo mein, kungpao chicken, sesame chicken, and an order of rangoons. The portions were large and enough 2 meals. Everything tasted good, but the rangoons were not my favorite, not crispy enough, and made in a thicker breading rather than a wonton style wrapper. The wonton soup had a flavorful broth and was really tasty. I will definitely order from them again.

I've had takeout from here various times and it's always solid. The egg roll have been hit or miss. Twice they've been a little over done/burnt, but the times they haven't been over cooked, they've been good. The pork fried rice is great. Great flavor and good amount of pork. The Wonton Soup is great. Had it last time on a chilly day and it hit the spot. Orange chicken is solid. Generous portion and really tasty. The Lo Mein is my favorite thing I order. I get the veggie one, but want to try one of the other options next time. Orders are always ready quick and delivered (or picked up) super fresh. I'll be ordering from here next time I need my noodle fix.

I didn't understand the prices until the food came out. The shrimp and scallops were HUGE. I mean the size of a crab cake almost. The quality and freshness of the seafood makes this place next level. The portions are also large and shareable -- for 2 ppl we had leftovers. I fell in love with the Chinese mustard sauce they put on the table. Added the perfect touch of spice / heat. While waiting for my party to arrive, I perused the wine menu. It was quite extensive. I think an oenophile would be quite happy with the selection offered. I had a Cotes du Rhone (Alain Jaume, $12) that I thoroughly enjoyed. The menu is adequately sized, but I would not say it was extensive. If you are looking for your favorite Sunday eve dish, you may not find it here, but you won't have a problem if you can pivot to another preparation. Dishes ordered at my table were a spring roll, a house special wonton soup (very flavorful) and lobster dumplings for appetizers. If I can be nit-picky, I'd suggest that they change the size of their dishes to smaller plates and bowls. The food looked puny on the large stark-white plates without a garnish, but all the flavors were spot on, so does it really matter? I actually think it does because you can tell that the owners take pride in the details of their establishment. For entree's, we ordered a spicy shrimp dish (4 jumbo, crisp shrimps came in the order), a Grand Marnier crispy beef (4 large pieces), a house fried rice with nuggets of char siu pork, tender baby shrimp, white meat chicken, egg and vegetables and a special of wok fried string beans which was by far the standout of our meal. After supper, we ordered some tea. It was somewhat weak in flavor but that could have been our fault; we did not let it steep long enough. The waiter came by with a tray of delicious-looking cakes to choose from but we declined. Every person that we encountered was nicer than the next. The waiters were knowledgeable and paced our meal well. Prices are not inexpensive, and reservations are definitely suggested. They do takeout as well.

It's in a different type of location -- a very small strip of businesses with only a few spots in front -- in the middle of a residential location. We were driving by between lunch and dinner and decided to stop to bring some food home for a later meal. When we stopped by, we got to meet the owners and chef. They were both very welcoming and friendly. He told us about some special meals and made suggestions. He was preparing some blue crabs for his own lunch, and they looked wonderful. You can get some special meals here, off menu, if you preorder. We went with a couple of our usual choices so we could see how they compared. We ordered some pork with Chinese vegetables and an order of Singapore rice noodles. Plus, for me an order of egg roll. The rice noodles were such a large portion that it filled two containers. And we wound up eating several meals from our take home food. The eggroll was very good. I ate one right away! There were two to the order. It had a different crispy wrapper -- it seemed house made. And it was filled with larger bits of meat. I really liked it. There was a lot of large flat pork slices in with the vegetables. In a brown sauce, there was broccoli, bok choy, pea pods, etc. It came with a side container of white rice. The rice noodles were fragrant with curry, but it only had a slight kick (as in not too spicy). There were lots of shrimp, chicken, and pork strips mixed in with the thin noodles. This dish was addictive. We are so glad we stopped to try them. Really one of the better Chinese places we've tried and certainly one of the better take-out places. Wish they were closer, or we'd be there more often.
