I like that they collect trash twice a day, you just need to put trash out next to your site number. They light up the site number so it was very easy to find out site when we got back in the dark. No alcohol campground so in general, it isn't noisy or loud, just people enjoy their time. Easy in and out as one way around campground. Has lots of things to do for little kid, they have rotating weekly schedule. My toddler loves the playground & big sandbox. We ate some ice cream too as a night treat. I definitely want to be back next year. Just one small thing to keep in mind: as a T mobile user, all of us don't have any cell service. The only place they have wifi is the Cove, so we took turn to spend a short time there to use wifi to keep in touch with family at home. We are okay with no wifi but it is a bit difficult with no cell service.

While the pool was definitively the favorite spot of our 6 year old, there really were so many things to do in this campground. Check in was a breeze, and staffer even showed us to our site. Bathrooms and shower buildings are cleaned regularly. My full hookup site was great. Heads up: Most of not all roads are dirt, and they can be muddy and puddly after a rain. And none of the sites I saw had paved pads for your RV. It can be a chore to keep the dirt and mud out of your rig, but that's camping. What's cool?--the standalone outhouses have flush toilets with running water, and many of the rental cabins seemed to be wheelchair accessible.

We loaded up in the bus and listened to the infamous "Kayak Song" to get us in the mood(look it up, it's EPIC!) The kayaks were the sit on type and we were launched with no issues. I've been wanting to try the dune rides in Saugatuck for awhile but they were sold out for my…read morebirthday weekend by the time I thought to check. Luckily Nate and I were in the TC area so we decided to do Mac Wood's Dune Rides on our drive back to Grand Rapids. They don't take any reservations ahead of time, so you just have to show up and get on the waitlist. When we pulled into the parking lot, I was amazed at how busy it was on a Monday afternoon, so I was expecting a long wait. Luckily we only waited about 20 minutes for the two of us. Their system is pretty good - give them your name and party number at the counter inside the gift shop, then they'll announce it over the intercom system with the truck number when they have a spot for you. There's some stuff to do while you wait - an ice cream shop next door, some historical vehicles to learn about, a big gift shop, and plenty of benches to sit and wait under the pavilion. Our driver was so funny and had lots of dad jokes, but we also learned about the vegetation and history of the area, which was very interesting. The ride itself was not nearly as thrilling as I would have hoped, more of like a leisurely ride but still very enjoyable. If you're a thrill-seeker this is not going to do it for you in that regard. Definitely hold on to your hat though, it will fly off if you're not careful. There are a couple of stops including a quick one at Lake Michigan that has some photo ops. The whole tour is 40 minutes and I'm really glad we got to experience it. As I've gotten older, I've come to appreciate the Great Lakes so much and it's so amazing to see this beautiful landscape in this way.

The business was conveniently located, had friendly & efficient employees, quick service, solid, nice-looking dune riding vehicle!, fun driver who drove, talked & stopped for site seeing the appropriate amount (but they would benefit by installing some sort of speakers so that all riders can hear what the driver's saying throughout the ride), we saw amazing, unique dunes in our beautiful United States of America, enjoyed this ride on a beautiful Michigan day, the price for this ride per person was appropriate, their Mac Woods Dune Rides building was clean, neat, bright and did not smell funny, and had clean restrooms that were clean and did not smell. You've gotta check this place out!

We loaded up and headed out! The property is stunning and very picturesque, with plenty of seating for small & larger parties both inside and outside; including shaded patio seating. The staff was absolutely friendly and a delight. Helen and Janet were phenomenal. They gave us a history of the property, answered any questions we had about the process of the wine making, and checked in on us multiple times. Keeping the good vibes going! They have 12 drinks to try; 10 wines and two ciders, and sampling can be done various ways. You can purchase three tastings for $8, purchase by the glass or by the bottle. Additionally they have both a nonalcoholic and slushes with alcohol. Which was pretty sweet and refreshing on a hot day and already has us craving another one. Oh can't forget they also have some delectable ice cream bar flavors like strawberry lemon cake! I sampled all of the wines and two ciders. My favorite wines were the Itasca, Petite Peal, and Chambourcin. The Chambourcin reminds me of a flat version of the sparkling red they serve at Domaine Chandon, so I picked up a bottle to bring back home to a friend in California. I recommend paying for the charcuterie board as well as it pairs nicely with the wines. The cheeses, fruit and olives were all fresh and tasted great. By the time we waited in line to our purchase our items, the tastings were ready - it was fast! I tried the blueberry wine (perfectly persuasive copy!) and the two ciders. For me it was the ideal tasting experience. The salty nuts were just the right complement to the flavors of the wine and cider. The live music guitar player created a lovely ambiance.
