The portion was pretty substantial too. My boyfriend got the Bun Rieu ($14) which is a crab/tomato/pork broth based noodle soup. I had a taste of the soup and it was also really good! I especially loved that they give you a full variety of herbs to add to the soup noodles, which not all Vietnamese restaurants do these days. Our table enjoyed a variety of soups from a basic chicken and egg noodle to rare beef rice noodle and two special soups, one based on a traditional broth and the other Tom Yum. We also got a tub of fish sauce, which neither of us like, but my dad does, so I saved it and gave it to him on the weekend when I went to see my parents. I appreciated that they labelled the fish sauce with a warning to open slowly (with a smiley face, lol). Food is packed in styrofoam, which is not my preference for environmental and health reasons.
