I used Yelp to reach out to a number of Wash/Dry/Fold places. Clean All was quick to respond and offered very reasonable rates. They even made suggestions for me to pass on to the repair people. I guess that makes sense because people who run laundromats have lots of with broken equipment. Anyway, I dropped off a bunch of laundry and it was clean, dry, and folded the following morning. They did a great job and even listened to my requests for some minor special handling. While I was there, I learned they also wash larger items, like weighted blankets, take in dry cleaning, and do alterations. Frankly, before this I never even realized they were there, and I've gone past there store 100s of times. I'll certainly use them for WDF the next time I need it. That may be in a few days since, sadly, the circus is still in town.

I always feel a little nervous using somewhere new, but I instantly trusted both the person I spoke to on the phone and the woman who worked there. I usually use one near my work but really needed another to use near my house. I cannot express enough how incredible they are. Nearly 70 lbs of laundry washed, dried, organized, and folded appropriately and perfectly in one day. I had about 4-5 items. Out of these, 3 of them were not cleaned properly. And I only just discovered it as I am packing for an overseas business trip and I am checking all my clothes. 2 Tommy Hilfiger navy blue dresses both have the smell of my underarms from wearing these on hot summer business days. I haven't removed the yellow dry cleaning tag yet because I haven't worn them, but they are clearly not cleaned well. And a pair of pants that had coffee spilled on them were dry cleaned twice at Penrose with no success in removing the stains. I was admonished that *nothing* will get the stains out -- they tried everything. Well, not wanting to throw them out, I put some Shout on the stains and placed the pants in the washing machine and the coffee stains came out. They are now getting ironed at another cleaners, and I expect they will look just fine. I have nothing against Penrose, I quite like the lady that works there, but I am saddened by the poor professionalism and the poor cleaning of my clothes. As much as I would like to frequent them as they are local to my community, I also need my clothes cleaned properly, and they are among the more expensive of the cleaners in my area. I sincerely hope they can improve their practices and regain business. But for now, they have lost mine. I thought I should share this with other people who need their clothes cleaned properly and need to be treated professionally. I wish you luck.

In march 2015, i took a $3000 YSL leather jacket for a cleaning. when i picked it up the leather coat shrunk significantly. i asked Mrs. Kim for refund on the cleaning cost, and $1000 store credit, since the jacket was used, and i liked their work. She initially claimed jacket was like that, but i produced photos of me in jacket, and she then promised to stretch it back to original. Two weeks later, the stretching did not work, and i asked for a store credit again, Mrs. Kim refused, and gave me the phone number of Bruno, a leather specialist in NJ that cleaned my coat. Bruno asked me for all information and photos, which he received, and then he stopped answering my calls. However on April 27, 2015, i received a very unbiased letter from Nacional Cleaners Association stating that in their opinion my jacket was cleaned properly, and they don't know how my coat went from size 44 to size 40. On June 12, 2015, i wrote a letter to President Valet II, i demanded payment for $1999, which was current Ebay price for this jacket, and advised them of my intentions to sue in small claims court and to contact consumer protection agencies. Today i stopped in to pick up another batch of dry-cleaning, which i paid for, and i asked the status of my claim. Mrs Kim advised that she filed an insurance claim, but could not tell me when and how much i will be paid. i tried to explain to her that she needs to pay me regardless, and deal with the insurance claim later. And then Mr. Kim came out from the back... Mr. Jeong He Kim in a raised voice told me that he is done talking to me and done reading my letters and in an aggressive manner asked me to leave.

I receive a text message the evening before to remind me to put my clothes out by a specified time. 2. The communication with the owner is incredibly prompt and reliable. I care A LOT about my clothes- and I have always been able to call Perfectly Pressed with any questions or concerns about alterations, concerns with certain fabrics and repairs. Communication is key. 3. The ethos upheld by the owner- I feel like Mr. Rami cares about my clothing as much as I do, and I trust that my clothing is in very good hands- and I am very discerning when it comes to communication, professionalism and knowledge about how to handle high maintenance people like myself- I admit it- In these times, I think having pickup and delivery for dry cleaning is a luxury- the price points are fair, and you never end up talking with a robot. Thought I had gotten hacked, so I tried a second time to contact that other company another way - again, I heard from SSC. I told the person that it seemed shady, and then they stopped texting me (which seemed even more shady). Then I looked up the websites and found that one of SSC's founders was the current communications manager at the other company. After I blasted that other company on Google (I got a really testy, unprofessional reply - I wonder from whom...?), I decided to try one last time to reach out to the first place. A third time, SSC reached out. None of this was giving me better vibes, but at my spouse's request, I let it play out. Spoke to a REALLY NICE person as SSC, and emailed to make an appointment for someone to do an in-person home inspection. I was disappointed that I had to make it three weeks after talking to them, but thought that it might be a positive measure of how sought-after they may be.
