I do check for comparably-priced, similar quality places before using my points, but I've been able to use them for great deals in Hawaii, Sunriver, etc. I bought every other year points and that has worked out to be the correct amount for me to enjoy a week at one of the resorts. There are last minute deals too (both nights in the program and weeks at outside properties). Unlike some other points programs, this isn't a "right to use" program, it's shares in a trust that holds all the properties, so you don't get the same massive overselling happening. Yes, for some of the prime properties in the most popular weeks, you may want to book a year ahead to guarantee certain dates, but I've never had trouble finding a suitable property to book when I wanted to.

One star is too many. I would give -1000 if I could. On July 8, 2026, my family and I recently to a…read moretrip to Las Vegas. It was partly a vacation and partly a business trip. My wife booked to stay at Circus Circus. When we first arrived, we were looking for the hotel registration and she asked the wrong people. She asked someone who threw a timeshare pitch with Westgate Resorts/VI Resorts. Because of the free slot play and other offers, she bout into it hook, line, and sinker. She paid $50 that was only refundable if we attended the time share presentation at the Westgate. The next day we attended the presentation which was okay but we were not really interested in purchasing. After the presentation, a lady name Jay Ann was really pushing to get the sale and kept making counter offers when I kept saying no. I should also mention that she was flirting with me a lot with I found unprofessional and my wife was getting angry about. Finally they made us an offer for $157 a month and she said that we would not be charged until October and she clearly said that we would not have to pay anything that day. We reluctantly agreed. Just as we left the Westgate, the charged our debit card, putting our bank account into a negative balance, and nearly ruining our vacation. Luckily we were able to contact a friend who loaned more money. Fast forward to July 23. We learned that the wait till October was a lie. They attempted to charge us again but there was no money in the account. I called VI Resorts to cancel it and I was told that it was too late to cancel and my other option was to sell the time share to someone else. Then someone else told me that in order to get out of this, I had to pay $3,500 up front. I told that idiot, "if I don't have the $150+ they wanted right now, how the hell can I afford $3,500? Make it make sense!" This is a total con and a scam that should be illegal. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau to see what else can be done. Westgate Resorts/VI Resorts are thieves. STAY AWAY FROM THEM! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

They are experts in finding and planning the right vacation experience for you. Although they do specialize in small ship cruising, they can help you with all your travel wants. We have used them for 10 trips from cruising in the Northwest, a train in the Canadian Rockies, river and ocean cruises in Europe, Panama Canal cruise and a Disney cruise to Alaska. We just got back from our latest trip, a 50th anniversary celebration at Tanque Verde Ranch in Arizona with our children and grandchildren. It was perfect! Plenty to do for all ages, spectacular desert scenery and plentiful, excellent food. We already have 2 more trips that Cindy is helping us plan. Can't wait for our next adventure!

The follow-up from this agency was terrible; I had to call and email repeatedly to get a response to simple questions. They were reluctant to offer any kind of group discount, although I found out later that the cruise line does offer this. They wanted final payment 120 days in advance versus the 90 day requirement of the cruise line. They tried to overcharge us on the early arrival fee. I asked the agent about booking a train to meet the cruise and was told to do it myself on the Amtrak website! Cruise paperwork and information that was supposed to be delivered to all travelers 60 days in advance was received about 10 days prior to departure, except for one couple who never did receive a complete package. The cruise was great, by the way. This agency is terrible - don't use them.

I followed up 1 week after the call and she let me know she would have something to me in a week. This was February 10th and the last I have heard since. Since February 10th, I have been unable to get a response from her or the company about the travel plan. I sent multiple kind emails asking for a timeline, left voicemails and spoke to the person who answered the main phone pleading for someone to call me back. Against my better judgement, I still stuck with it thinking they were helping me. A full month later, I have still not received an ounce of communication and we are having to move onto a different company. It is putting our family in a bad situation and now is a month of time wasted. I have no idea why this agent "ghosted me" and is refusing the event reply to an email or call me back. A simple, "I am still working on it" or "it turns out I don't have the bandwidth to handle your request" email would have sufficed, however I can't event get that from her or the company. It is really disappointing and very unprofessional. This is my first experience with a travel agent in over 20 years and it was disappointing to say the least. I'd caution you on using Willamette International Travel if this is the way they feel the need to treat their customers. I can't imagine this happening if a problem with a flight or hotel reservation would come up, you would be on your own to figure it out.
