This dispensary (with which I placed my prescription and my plant allowance - in other words, I was a "member") sold me a topical product (that will last me at least 6 months based on my past usage) that had an expiration date only 5 weeks away. Once I discovered this, I did NOT open the box or the product, and I attempted to exchange it for the same product only with a longer date until expiration. Not only did they tell me that all of their product was from the same lot with the same expiration date (without even looking at their inventory), but when I then requested a store credit they made up some story about "not being able to accept returns of THC products" due to State law. There is NO SUCH STATE LAW. If this is how they treat a "member", I'd suggest staying away from these folks. read more

I needed only 2 more bags to complete my punch card (15 total punches) but they were out so I asked if I could substitute the last 2 with something else so I could complete my card . I was told no and I was to call later to check on the 2 later. In the past a clerk would set me up with a substitute. I have been a customer for years and I have the punch card to complete all 15 to receive a penny ounce. I was disappointed that I couldn't complete my card due to circumstances that I couldn't control. I may have to choose another dispensary in the future read more

I gave the guy in the orange shirt my ID by placing it on the desk at the front. It was more than halfway under the tiny slot and as far as I could get it. I'm a crutches user and that was as far as I could reach but I strained myself to push it further. Because of the tiny slot it went a whole inch further. I injured myself in the process, so now I'm going to be bed ridden for days. All because some ableist on a power trip was too lazy to reach one inch further. Well it was very unpleasant when I went the other day, the guy that was helping me out behind the counter made me feel like I was wasting his time. It's very unfortunate that as a loyal customer who comes in once a week that I have had two mediocre experiences on my last 2 visits in. First, the fact that you guys keep changing your deals of the day is an inconvenience. I drive 30 minutes past several other dispensary's to come here as I have been doing for years. Only to find out the deal of the day changed. Which required me to spend more money and more time to have to return again. I needed a bag and was rudely told I should have let him know up front. I offered to pay for the bag, as I have done previously, and was still refused. I understand that bags aren't free and never expected to not pay for one. I couldn't hear the staff across the plexiglass because the music was too loud. I was misquoted prices on multiple wax brands and didn't realize it until later. I bought a package of gummies that were all melted together into one big blob. I will not be returning to this location. read more

The music speaker is right above your head when you pay for your products, playing just loud enough to not hear your total on the purchases. I commented it being loud and that I couldn't hear him over the music. I'm not sure if they have control of the volume or not. While the staff are nice, the atmosphere is not. read more

Update: The assistant Manager reached out to us and handled the situation. Thank you Silver Stem for making this situation have a positive outcome. Bad customer service. My husband is a 100% disabled veteran, we do different strains for different parts of the day for his PTSD he has from serving in the Army. We received enough points for the penny half ounce. So we sent a message asking if we could mix on their website, and the answer was as long as it was same tier it would be fine. We went up there and the guy who helped us was smug and said no and acted like we were bothering him. My husband showed him the message and then we asked to see a manager because the guy argued that it was impossible. We were waiting for the manager and my husband said he didn't understand why he couldn't look at the messages we had. The guy then said it was just a penny and he didn't know why we were getting out of shape of weed they were giving us. Well I lost my dream job due to Covid-19, we live off of his paycheck from him being a disabled veteran. A penny half ounce mean getting to treat his PTSD until the 1st. So that's why it means so much to us. He embarrassed us in front of the entire store asking why we cared so much about weed they were giving us. We were excited about our penny half, but the points were lost, we were asked to leave, and my husband gets to go without his medicine for his PTSD he got signing up to serve this country for people to treat him like dirt. read more

There was a minor discrepancy in my purchase today. 4/24/21.... knowing that this kind of thing sometimes happens, I was reluctant to make the phone call in order to try to get it sorted out. Because normally, the Dispensary is ALWAYS RIGHT. This time I called. I was immediately told to come in right away to get it sorted out. There was no arguing, there was no fight. They owned up to the mistake, and made it beyond right. I just recently moved a few block away from this dispensary, and was in the process of finding a new home store. I have been going to Silver Stem S/W Medical for over two years now and it is the best dispensary in Colorado . The strains are very potent and consistent. Never had a bad strain at all. The employees are outstanding and very knowledgeable about their products. The prices are very competitive to other dispensaries if not better prices than others. I have my med card and am always looking for high cbd products. I love what they carry and new things I've gotten. I also really appreciate that they are open to suggestions about things I'd like. I want to give a shoutout to the budtenders and management as they are all so helpful and good to work with. I didn't know how it all worked when I started visiting Silver Stem, but they're all great. Knowledgeable. Experts in their craft. It's definitely worth having them as your designated store with your card. The monthly and quarterly bonuses are lovely. This is one of the worst dispensaries I've ever been to, and it makes me sad thinking of any first time cannabis user or someone interested in cannabis going here first. When you walk in you're greeted with metal bars and a guy in what looks like a costume security outfit - this is not at all typical of most dispensaries. The small, dirty waiting room instantly makes you think you've walked into a questionable place. I smoke and use cannabis daily, and I'm very much a clean cannabis user, meaning organic and pesticide-free. The flower sold here are neither of those things. I always give a place at least three visits before making judgement, and each one got worse and worse. It's the budtenders that ruin it all. They act like the customer is bothering them. Yawning, not conversational, not helpful in any way or informative. It's all one word answers. The flower makes me feel an uncomfortable high that last 15-minutes then I was just left with a headache. This was each time, trying different strains each time to make sure, again, that I wasn't jumping to conclusions. I don't like leaving negative reviews as you can see on my profile, but people need to be warned of this place before visiting. So many better options with real, caring customer service and clean flower. read more

I have been there twice and both times have been happy with the flower. Decent size buds, not dried out and some good potency. It has been quick in, quick out for me, but the small store and somewhat limited parking could be tough at peak times. I'm sure I'll find out because I plan to be a regular. Small store with limited, but varied items. They've got what you need, although I wish they sold Kief. Update to review-very impressed with Chemdawg. 2017 Update to update, lol,,,,,,,,,,very disappointed in the lack of inventory in SW store and price increases this year. Guess everyone is working together to raise prices. How corporate. I still shop here but am actively looking other places. My cousin was coming into town for his 21st birthday and wanted to check out a cannabis store. This one just happens to be down the street. I had not been in there since they went recreational and changed the name. It was secure and the bartenders were friendly. They had a pretty good selection, but the prices seem kind of steep. I have not shopped around enough to compare though. Really the reason they are getting 5 stars is the bud tender Nathan was cool and took the time to explain what everything was. Just had a disappointing visit to my local dispensary, Silver Stem. I've been going here for almost 6 years or so. I'm not a member but I usually spend about $600/$800 every month and I usually tip 10/15 percent. I always pull up my medical card online but today the medical marijuana registry has its systems down for routine maintenance so that's not an option. I called Silver Stem to see if they could make an exception since I frequent the establishment so much and I spend so much money in there plus they already have my MMJ card on file. I spoke with Isis and she explained that I wouldn't be accommodated without being able to present my medical card. So I said I'll come up there and see what we can figure out. I've been offered medical pricing before but this crew y'all have on staff today wasn't trying to help anyone. It was a "by the book" conversation but they had a little too much attitude for me. So I'll take my business elsewhere from now on. But I think this opportunity could be used as a learning opportunity for two young and inexperienced leaders in that store. read more

Been going there for a long time. I was very disappointed when I went there last. I purchased a quarter, while it was on sale. I then asked the budtender if it would be ok to split into 2. She was very considerate while she told me, no. I then asked why, and she told that someone had to tell me no. Even better the printer broke and couldn't let us get the labels. I then asked the assistant manager Tyler to come out and help us please. I am ready to go and yes we already paid, and tipped her. (My wife) I then left and waited in the car. Nondescript 4 store strip mall. I didn't even realize what we were pulling into. The three guys inside and the wife of what I think was the owner were all really genuinely friendly and we talked football for a bit since there were no other customers. I have been to a quite few dispensaries in Denver and Silver Stem is my favorite because 1. The staff is FRIENDLY and knowledgeable. The amount of product available can be overwhelming and they are totally cool with explaining things. 2. Competitive pricing and good selection of edibles and oils. 3. They have frequent buyer club! 4. It's located in a stripmall that is literally the Friday night trifecta. There is a pizza place, liquor store, and Silver Stem. Need I say more? If I could give it no stars I would. Went in for some flower, everything is super overpriced. Guess I should bring my own scale next time too because it didn't weigh up when I got home. Not completely. Just under a quarter because I bought shake....which by the way is more like "trim" because it comes equipped with everything (stems, and seeds) excluding the leaf itself. Nice to know I'm being charged for the weight of the stems as well. No wonder I didn't get the quarter I went in for. Silver stem used to be my go to. Quality and service have since than decreased severely. Every news letter has a major typo usually with the end date of specials. "we ended that a week ago" yet there is a week left to go. Rewards are poorly worded to. With huge details left out i.e only top shelf. So you redeem it just to go through a fiasco to get your points back since Silver stem hardly honors any Promotional errors. Which they do a lot. All in all not happy with the dishonesty read more
