I specifically asked about pricing and was told the blood work would cost $25. Based on that information, I agreed and scheduled the appointment for the following day. When I returned, I completed the intake paperwork and had my blood drawn without any mention of a different price. Only when I went to check out was I told that I owed $150. I was then informed that the higher cost was because I was not using insurance. While I understand that insurance status affects pricing, this was never disclosed ahead of time, and I was never asked whether I planned to use insurance or pay cash. Had I been told the correct price upfront, I would have waited until next month when my new insurance plan begins and done the blood work then. When I questioned the discrepancy, the receptionist was cold and detached, taking a very matter-of-fact tone rather than showing any effort to understand my perspective or acknowledge the miscommunication. The main issue here is transparency and patient care. I left feeling like just another number, with little concern for how the situation affected me or whether I chose to return. Clear communication upfront would have completely avoided this experience.

Continued to get worse and the following Tuesday I was running a temp between 100 and 104.  Made another appt on that Friday and explained symptoms were getting worse another BRIEF exam I was told take OTC. No additional script. It would work it's self out.  Sunday symptoms were not improving so I called to and the PA for meds.   I was told she would call back.  I called a second time and was told she would call but probably not till tomorrow. Never received a call At 8:30 I went to another urgent care. They did a thorough exam inc X-rays and determined I had early Pneumonia.  Obviously I won't be back.  I was charged 2 deductible's.  Wouldn't be a big deal except I had no relief from their exams.

I left a message Thursday evening. I got a call back first thing Friday morning and was able to be seen that day. Dr. Eck and his team made me feel comfortable and not shamed for my lack of dental care over the years. (Strahler was the previous owner, and before that, Penshorn to clear up confusion in how it may be listed on Google, and Dr. Penshorn still works there ). They assisted me through the process of applying for Care Credit and Alphaeon so I could pay for my services, emailing the links to make it quick and easy. I chose to get a full set of x-rays done (but I had the option to do a limited exam for only my problem tooth if I preferred or had limited funds). I'll be coming back in one week to get my temporary crown & deep cleaning, and 4 weeks later I'll get my permanent crown, which is porcelain, not silver, so I can still have a confident smile. They are all very personable, friendly, welcoming, and real. Every person. I have complete confidence in this team and the dentist to give me the best care. The office is clean and inviting. They offer complimentary products to brush your teeth in the lobby bathroom before your appointment (if you so wish) so you don't feel embarrassed coming in after lunch. I was surprised to see non-GMO snacks and healthy sugar-free drink options (with stevia! Not aspartame or sucralose- I LOVE Zevia drinks!). I'm so glad I found them! They are a God-send.

My mother has dementia. i moved her here after 2 and half years at an assisted living facility. They told me she couldn't stay. that's it... She can't stay here. She's a liability. I found a new facility and moved her for the second time in less than 4 days. I can't NOT recommend this place. I have been a patient at advanced 2 times for 100 days the first time was April 2025-July 2025. The…read morenext time I was there was feb 2026-May 2026. Most of the staff were excellent but I had one staff member a cna tell me what I needed to do to get back in my bed. Not a nurse or therapy. She said it was because I am leaving in the next 15 days but no one in management or admin or the plan team talked to me. She had no business talking to me about my daily therapy. Total hippa violation. I asked the plan team to file a grievance for me and again I never heard back from anyone. I was suppose to get a prescription called in for pain meds or at least talk to the dr about a prescription. Again no one has gotten back to me. My team for home health will be getting the prescription but not until the 10th so i am doing therapy on my own and no pain meds I just have to deal with it. I found out recently that advanced has been sold and they will be under a new name and owner. Hopefully the staff members who wronged me and didn't seem to care about my feelings and my privacy will be better in the future. I am thankful for the handful of nurses and CNA's, and therapists that took care of me. Too bad the upper staff and the administration staff can see what they are doing and treating the patients. My rating today is -1 last time it was a 5. I'm sad on so many staff members that have left there. They were beyond excellent to the patients. Thank you

She likes almost everything they serve her to eat, and Lisa Marie makes sure there's plenty of activities to keep her occupied. My mother is 98 years old, but still very social and has so much to look forward to. She does not just stay in her room. She joins in on activities and looks forward to her days. I also appreciate how thoughtful the aides can be with her. They showed her attention and care, and all of it is so important to me.

The office would be great if those ladies did something non customer service related and were replaced with friendlier (or just decent) staff up front.

While I was there, I noticed the front office employees dealing with clients in the exact same professional yet polite manner. Dr. Felix Guerra knew exactly how to start strengthening the muscles that surround my lower back to ease some of the pain. He also gave me a handout to take home with the exercises so I can keep doing them between visits. I woke up this morning and was able to get up with better mobility than I have in a long time.
