This park is beautiful! It has an amazingly wonderful play structure for children, comparable to some seen in Europe. The waterfront views are glorious and can be taken in from along the lengthy walkway making its way around the play area and towards the rocky beach. Parking aplenty, restrooms on site, grassy areas for picnics and more, there is truly something for everyone at this beautiful park.

Nice little park! Great for people watching (if you're into that kinda thing), having a picnic, recreating on the water (launching your boat or renting a kayak or paddleboard), safe kiddo playgrounds play, or walking the dog. There's a couple great food & drink options nearby too: I recommend Cash Brewing, Sugar Studio Crepes. Overall score: 4.25 / 5.00

Beautiful place. Even if it is during a pandemic. First time here. People are nice. The view is gorgeous.

Nice place to Hang by the Water

Excellent little Waterfront Park in Old Town Silverdale. Access to a pier for small boats, Cool Playground, Pavillion available for Events or maybe to just enjoy a lunch in the outdoors. Restrooms available. Even noticed a Kayak Booth Rental type Booth Also noticed a little waterfront Veteran's park type memorial with a map of the earth in Cement near the water, with the Armed Forces insignias and Flags. Very Nice. Also there's even a Memorial Marker for someone killed in WW1, I'd have to get with my Historian Buddy to find out who he was cause all it has is his name and about the Battle he died in. All in all ya can't beat this cool little park on a sunny day, plenty of spots to sit and ponder things that need pondering

Went on a nice day walk on the pier and along the beach. I thought there would've been more of a trail but still a very nice setting.

I've stayed with them multiple times and each time it has been just amazing. They're located in the city of Poulsbo, WA on a working 17 acre farm. It's a private farm that you can pet everything from Pigmy Goats to sheep....to their two wonderful dogs (Hank and Abby). It's very close to downtown historic Poulsbo and easy to find (look for the big sign at the entrance to their property), with a lengthy dirt driveway to their house. Once you arrive, you're usually met by one or both of your hosts...welcoming you to their nice quiet property. Attached are photos from this visit...make sure to give them a try!

The value cannot be beat for the quality of service you get. First, the whole venue is yours for the weekend. No other guests are booked at the B&B on a wedding weekend (and you get access for the WHOLE weekend). Second, Paulette and Ron are so accommodating and helpful, even before your wedding weekend. Any time we needed to come up and check things out, they welcomed us to visit. The space is beautiful. We had an outdoor wedding, with a gorgeous western view of the Olympic mountains and a reception in the spacious barn. We had no problems fitting our whole wedding (150 guests) while leaving room for a bar and dance floor. The rooms in the B&B are beautiful and spacious. And the breakfast food was amazing. We would absolutely recommend Raspberry Ridge Farm to anyone looking to get married in Kitsap County.

This place is like being transported into a Nicholas Sparks novel/movie…read more It's even more beautiful than the secret garden. Every single place you look at is breathtaking. If you are an animal lover.... This is your dream spot!!! We got to feed the goats, hang out with ducks, a bunny, chickens , and two dogs. They have an awesome four legged tour guide that showed us around the property. She doesn't care for summer so she immediately went swimming. Once she cooled down she wagged her tail with excitement and led us down a path with a gorgeous view of the pond and a picnic table and fire pit. Exploring the flower gardens was so romantic. They say Ram (our second four legged tour guide ) is eight years old going on one! He doesn't care for swimming so he will lead you through the gardens to see the ducks, bunnies, and chickens. But once you have his attention.... You better give him all the petting! He will demand it Kevin and Denise are an incredible team! I'm blown away on how wonderful this place is. Kevin and Denise..... you guys put your hearts into this place and it shows. Thank you so much for sharing it . We travel a ton and we both agree that this is hands down our favorite spot!

If it wasn't for Airbnb, I probably would have never found Courter Country Farm...but I am oh so…read morethankful that we did! Looking for a place to stay overnight in the Poulsbo area on the app, I happened upon a listing for a renovated greenhouse with glass walls and ceiling, perfect for stargazing, that would make for a perfect, romantic weekend getaway for my wife and I. I booked it immediately. Upon arrival, we learned that the greenhouse was only one fantastic feature of a similarly incredible property. Courter Country Farm, run by a husband and wife combo, Kevin and Denise (fantastic, welcoming people!), is equal parts functioning farm, event venue (weddings in particular), campground, and country store. Apart from the main farmhouse, there's an attached "saloon" (open from 6am to 10pm) with functions as a community gathering place, complete with kitchenette, restrooms, pool table, chairs, patio deck and modest farm store, with items such as soaps and snacks available for purchase. The expansive property also includes a petting zoo, containing (at the time) the cutest little bunny I've ever seen (for sale! $25! we almost took him home!), goats in an adjacent fenced barn, alpacas down the hill, and a chicken run with at least one talented jailbreaking rooster, who apparently loves to show off his Houdini-esque escape act! Further down the hill, you will find the converted greenhouse/Airbnb rental, adjacent to the tent-covered, patio event space, where most of the larger events are held. Now, I know what you're thinking: glass house, glass walls...no privacy. No problem! The hosts make themselves scarce no later than 8pm, so you are left to your own devices in the evening. Campers staying at the single camp space, tucked away down a short forest path along a creek, are similarly encouraged to give the glass house a wide berth. It's important to note that, as it is a greenhouse with transparent walls, it can grow extremely warm when exposed to the summer sun, and lacking insulation, bitterly cold in the winter. Don't plan on spending the day hanging out inside during warm weather: let it cool down in the evening, and you'll be just fine when it's time for bed. A powerful fan is provided, if needed. Similarly, for the colder months, a heated mattress pad is provided; the hosts informed us that some previous patrons booked the room in the dead of winter, when the whole structure was encased in snow, and they loved the warm, cozy feeling of snuggling into a heated bed while the world froze around them. Honestly, that sounds pretty great, too! Additional features include a firepit, yard games, hiking paths, and porta-potties (for any after-hours needs, since the saloon closes between 10pm and 6am) help make Courter Country Farm a truly special destination for anyone looking for a cozy weekend getaway, without venturing too far from civilization. Proximity to Poulsbo is a huge plus; anyone who hasn't explored this Nordic novelty needs to do so, promptly! One of our favorite towns in the Pacific Northwest! Additionally, Port Gamble and Port Townsend are 15 and 45 minutes by car, respectively, meaning there is no shortage of amazing places to visit, just a short drive away! One more thing that definitely needs to be mentioned: if you are planning on hosting an event here, such as a wedding, Kevin and Denise will work gladly with your choice of caterer! Most other event venues require that you use whichever they are contracted with, but fortunately, Courter Country Farm doesn't have that requirement. Courter Country Farm is the sort of place I would love to own, develop and dwell in myself, if I had the talent and resources. Lacking both, my wife and I are thankful that Kevin and Denise are such fantastic stewards and hosts, who have put a substantial amount of work, care and love into making this place a magical venue for prospective newlyweds, overnight campers, and couples looking for a romantic weekend escape in one of the most unique BNB experiences out there. After staying in the glass house, I can safely say that have no stones to throw; Kevin and Denise will just have to make do with gushing praise instead.

TERRIBLE venue management under the guise of a beautiful space…read more In short, three months after signing with The Barn at Holly Farm we were told management would rather start a year of self-initiated renovations than honor their contract with us. Their decision not only affected us, but at least nine other couples who had booked weddings there too. For my fiancé and me, this left us with less than 7 months before the wedding date to find a new venue and re-plan our entire event. It took over a month for us to find a new space that could accommodate our wedding size indoors. To receive a full refund, we were expected to sign a document that stated we wouldn't make any comments which "may, directly or indirectly, disparage" The Barn at Holly Farm (obviously we did not accept those terms). It then took over a month to receive the funds for The Barn's breach of contract. I hope no other couple has to experience The Barn at Holly Farm's mismanagement and the nightmare experience they caused at least 10 couples in 2021!

We worked with Karmel as well as a flower vendor (Dirty Girl) and photographers (GSquared) whom Karmel recommended. Part of the reason we were drawn to this venue is because of the good works that they do with equine therapy and rescued farm animals. Our experience with the Barn was fantastic. We really hit it off with Karmel and she made planning the wedding fun and low stress. The vendors she recommended also did a great job and at the end of the day, are just good people. I feel like they all connected with us on a personal level. One fun perk this venue offered is for a small fee someone from the Barn takes guests out to meet some of the animals (chickens, goats, llamas, etc.) during the social hour before the reception. This was a lovely and charming way to start the celebration. I think that what we paid was fair for the service we received. The only snafu at the very end was having to pack our own stuff even though we paid extra for the clean-up service, but it was mostly just our personal belongings and it wasn't a big deal. There's always a little wedding drama - in this case our own guests, and the way that Karmel and vendors went about handling it to reduce the stress on us was beautifully done. They were respectful and discreet and we were incredibly grateful for their support. The space itself on the day of the wedding was absolutely stunning and everything was set up exactly as we had planned. It was a truly magical day and I'm so glad we chose the Barn to get married. I'd do it all over again. :)
