Had the worst experience today for my weekly wash. It was pretty busy and I was trying to be in and out. I was going thru the wash - there's a big black truck in front and there's a car behind me. Im getting to the end - and I notice that the truck is sitting in front of the drying section. Don't know what the protocol is to sitting there trying to get your whole vehicle to dry, but I'm getting pushed closer and closer to this sitting truck. I was finally so close to it that I'm having to step on my brake to keep me from rear ending him. Totally confused because there's an employee wavering traffic in front but never tells this truck to move forward to allow the process to continue to flow. I'm not a car expert but the feeling of having to hit my brakes in there and the car wash conveyor system continuously trying to push me out did not make me feel like my car was in good hands nor did it feel safe. Shit happens, but personally I feel like there can be a better system in place for these things to not happen. On top of that - this business recently up'd their pricing due to inflation and their high quality of wash, but there's still bird shit on my car after going through it, so there's that. read more

This New express car wash is great! 1st month was $5. Deal for the month. I chose to continue at $29.99 for the Top unlimited Ceramic Car Wash. Normally $20 for just one wash. What an outstanding deal. Really, unlimited washes in 1 month. I went every other day to wash my black car. What a deal! Drive in, Vacuum car, Wash car, wipe car dry. In and out in 15 minutes or take your time and stay 30 minutes. Good exercise. No waiting, no tipping, so easy, so fast. Try this place out. read more

I understand inflation has been an issue but they recently increased the exterior only wash by 50% from $10 to $15 which is a huge increase. In response to Aaron, the owner/manager who responded: I saw a Yelp user price list picture post from a year or so ago showing $10 and went there based on that pricing expecting that maybe it had gone up 10-20% to $11-$12 since then and was surprised it had gone up 50%. Maybe just post an updated pricing pic like the Yelp users sometimes post on your page so potential customers are aware what your current pricing is. I would've saved time and not stopped by there had I known of the current pricing. read more

4-1/2 Stars. Great car wash experience with affordable membership pricing! Growing up in the neighborhood, I used to come here with my parents when it was a car hand wash. I'm excited that it's now fully automatic. When you enter the lot, you drive to the security gate and pay for the wash. Then, you can vacuum your car (vacuum use is complimentary). Once you're done with the vacuuming, you make your way to the automatic wash. After your wash, you can chose to drive off or turn back into the lot to dry your car. Unfortunately, you have to get back onto the road in order to get back into the lot, which can get annoying during rush hour. One feature I would add is a towel / air freshener vending machine, since many people do like to dry their cars to reduce water spots. A nice perk is the gas station across the street, which has the best prices in the neighborhood. This location is also easy to get to via the 101 freeway and the main LA thoroughfares. I was debating between 4 or 5 stars. It was tough because the configuration really bothers me. However, at the price point and the quality of the wash, I really want to support this new business and give it a high rating. read more

This car wash is amazing. It is very clean and organized. The staff here is friendly and helpful. As for the car wash it self, it is more than worth it. I come here every other day or when needed because I live in Los Angeles where tree saps and grass dust get on your vehicle as fast as u stop driving. Car wash leaves a new residue on my car every time I go :( Had a subscription to this place and have come many times since cancelling because it's so convenient, hoping that I just had bad luck the time before... but unfortunately not the case. Always something large and sticky.. sometimes clear or black. Most everything comes off after scrubbing but I've never had this problem at any other drive thru car wash?! When I first signed up for this car wash, I was highly impressed. Car came out super SPARKLY and my car was dried well. I even raved to my family and friends about this place. As of a few months ago, I started to notice things changing, and not for the better: SKIMPING of the volume of water sprayed, especially at the beginning. If my car comes dirty with dust, enough water needs to be used so that the rolling brushes don't scratch up the paint on cars. The amount of product they are using has BEEN REDUCED as well, such as the soap. My last trip, I felt like my car received just strictly a water rinse. Haha! I used more soap the last time I had to do dishes. These are all things someone who goes regularly with a car wash membership would notice. Also don't know what's going on with their equipment, sometimes it seems to function pretty ROUGH and I cringe every time as it has scratched my paint on some occasions. I can tell because those SCRATCHES are on my front hood. My car isn't new but it looks new as I think I take care of it well. Hence why I signed up for Silverlake Speedwash in the first place. I used to have the top level of membership: ceramic wash. But they created a new higher tier wash a couple months ago. So my membership tier is now mid but yet they found an opportunity to increase the pricing from $29.99 to $34.99 as well. Increase of membership pricing while also increasing their profit margins by reducing the products used to clean our cars. Hope management does realize that loyal customers can discern the difference, especially when you choose PROFIT OVER QUALITY. read more

I was in the area and desperately needed a car wash, so I found Silverlake Speedwash through Yelp. Normally these drive-thru car washes are a hit or miss so I wasn't expecting anything special. I drove up and was greeted by the girl working at the pay machine. They have two wash options and I went with the base one that was $10. The self-serve vacuum area is before the car wash so just be mindful of that. I drove through the car wash in about 3 minutes and was on my way. I was really impressed with how clean my car got. It's also the best speed wash I've been to in California due to its sheer size, non congested space, friendly staff, prices, and leaving my car cleaner than competitors. I live next door to this carwash and let me tell you, having a membership here is life changing. For only $20 a month I get unlimited carwashes. Not to mention I can vacuum my car for an unlimited amount of time. No more having to pay to vacuum my car. What I love about this place is that when entering, my license plate gets scanned, so I don't have to insert a membership card. There's never any lines as the place is pretty huge and if there ever is, it's only at the entrance of the actual wash, and it goes by fast. The workers are always very friendly and attentive. They even give me free wipes for my car. For what you pay for the membership, you get quite a lot here. read more

This morning, around 10:20 AM, I went to the car wash, where a young female employee was focused only on the car in front of me and kept telling me to move forward. Although my car's tire wasn't fitting properly, the sign didn't indicate that I should put the car in neutral. As water began splashing onto my car, I became concerned and asked, 'Should I put the car in neutral? The sign isn't lit up.' She casually replied, 'Do I need to pop out the sign and give it to you?' which felt dismissive. I have been a customer at this location for almost 6 months and have also visited other branches, but today's experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating. read more

I first came here with a friend when she was running an errand and didn't think much of it. It was not until today when I needed my own car wash that I really appreciated the service provided. The vacuum was strong and got all the tiny particles out those hard to reach places. Ok remodeled place opened over the holiday weekend. New ownership. It is a self serve car wash. You come in and vacuum yourself at one of the stations then go thru the drive through car wash. There are plans where you can pay once which will cost 10 or 20 depending on what you want on the car drive thru. Also, there is a monthly plan where you can come and wash how many times you want. I think the monthly is a great deal. The only downside is that if you want a full detailed car wash then this is not the place for you. Alright so I'll start by saying that my car has 3600 miles, hand washed it myself since I got it from the dealer at 30miles... none of the scratches were there before getting it washed at this carwash... I was skeptical in this style of car wash... ive always handwashed my car but figured this place was relatively new and my car had only a layer of dust from being parked in the garage... I drove in, the guy at the entrance was friendly, explained how the wash works... parked to vacuum my interior before proceeding into the wash. The vacuum was moderate in power... had some dog hair that it couldn't suck... after a couple minutes I pulled in for the wash... the attendant guides my car onto the conveyor track... the last portion where it cleans your wheels jolted my car a bit, had me worried I was going to be pushed off the track but within a couple minutes the wash was done... I drove to my next destination where I took pictures and noticed the obvious items... missed my side skirts.. the entire rear end was the same as before getting it washed... "micro" to obvious scratches around my car... took pictures of the ones that stood out... I was getting annoyed at what I saw so I had to stop looking at my car so I continued on with my day... overall the wash would probably work for those that don't care about their car and/or isn't black... only reason I'm giving a 2 star was because of the workers... would NOT recommend if you like your car... read more

So after trying out their membership option & opting in for the $20 car wash! I can say that I am satisfied with the service the staff is very friendly. The vacuums are amazing, and at the time of this review, I've brought my car in three times. I do suggest trying this place out with either of the memberships so you get value for your buck ! Apparently my previous review was offensive and damaging since I "lied" about my car getting a micro-scratch so here's one that'll hopefully be up to the owner's standards. Pros: Very kind employees (woman who greets you at wash purchase is very nice and welcoming), good suction on vacuum, place is clean. Cons: Car won't be cleaned well with the $10 wash if you have debri or bird poop on it. Maybe the $20 wash is better quality, who knows. If you're not satisfied with your wash they'll offer you another wash, if you claim to have car damages they'll offer to show you camera footage because of course it was damaged beforehand and their neoglide brushes would never damage your vehicle. I'd say to give the family business a chance in hopes that you have a better experience but this was a one and done for me. I was personally not satisfied with the wash itself nor do I want to go back for another (whats the point?), but the employee was kind and vacuum was good. read more

Excellent monthly subscription self serve car wash! The equipment looks fairly new. The vacuums are powerful and free with your subscription. I recommend having a stock of micro fiber towels in your car all the time. The car still is pretty wet after coming out and some dirty spots to touch up, but that's very typical with all self service car washes. I'm very happy with my service there! They literally have another car wash like half a mile away that you can also use with your subscription. read more

Absolutely LOVE this speedwash! The service is always top notch, as my car was sparkling as I'd leave every time. In the instance that my car was super dirty from a road trip, I really appreciated that we had unlimited washes and use of the vacuums until it was all squeaky clean! I had the ceramic membership for reference. The employees were always so helpful and friendly. The lines were never super long, so it was quick and made it very convenient for when you're in a rush!
