My daughter can barely do a cartwheel, but her sense of confidence, her agility and her flexibility have all improved drastically over the last 4 months that we've been attending. The center is owned and operated by Pepper. My son thinks her name is Chili (get it, chili pepper?) and her name is true to her act. She not only spices up the place with new ideas, she's hot on getting everyone to participate in a safe and fun way. She knows every kid's name and greets them each every week. The instructors are fabulous. Classes fill up fast and the schedules vary so much that we can always find a class that fits our needs. It's cheaper if you sign up for a "unit" which is extended weeks rather than just the 4-week cycle. It's a bit chilly in there in the winter, so bring a jacket and have the kids wear a sweatshirt to warm up with. It also has that "gym smell" but we've gotten used to it.

Obviously I wouldn't expect them to be open on the Holidays, but I couldn't believe they still charged me for the entire month even though we only had TWO lessons in the entire month (EDIT: Well, I guess Jan 1 is a new month, but whatever). This has always infuriated me, but if it happens once or twice a year I can excuse it. However, twice!? It feels like being charged double. Again, I have no complaints with the instructors or product itself. In fact, I have ONLY POSITIVE things to say about them. My daughter loves her class! That said, I'd highly advise against putting your kid in a Monday or Friday class as most Holidays just tend to fall on those days and they will charge you for the missed classes regardless.

None of our other kiddos had an interest in these skills and sports, until now, with our youngest daughter who is 7. She just loves going and is on her second set of classes at Vega. She feels safe and cared for and hops into the car after, sweaty and excited to tell everything she learned that day. (Which continues on at home to SHOWING her dad and I everything as well! ) Fostering that enthusiasm and engaging whole body mechanics is very important to us. Especially coming out of the past year and a half where our children were very limited on athletics here in the Pacific Northwest. We are thankful for the ease of email, the online member portal, and the great communication provided by the staff at Vega. Having instructors that are nurturing and also good at redirecting younger students is a tough task, but they have done it here! It definitely feels welcoming to all people there.
