Had such high hopes (not unreasonable) based on friends who recommended. Although some work (concrete bench, pruning, weed clean up) ) was good, the "major" work was not good. I paid serious money for the following: travertine deck sealing that was literally haphazardly sprayed on and blotchy. No prep such as pressure washing or even hosing deck to prepare. The excuse was this is what sealer does. Not so based on how previous sealing was done! Dripper system was not hooked up in several sections and lighting repair in a fixture failed. Water feature (small) not repaired at all. I expressed my concerns several times to Keith who assured me he would come by personally to ensure jobs complete. Never happened in spite of repeated attempts. My mistake for paying the bill and trusting that he would come thru. I ended up hiring another company who corrected all that was not done with the drippers and what they pointed out was so unbelievable. Just entirely astonished. Do not be fooled by the "pretty pictures" posted on facebook. Or better yet do not pay the bill until work and omissions are corrected. read more

The landscaping work that was done was good, my issue is with the employees. Daily I would have to go out after they left to pick up garbage around their cars where they ate their lunch. Trash, beer bottles, empty soda cans, dispensary pouches and countless cigarette butts and corona tops. I'm so glad the job is done. read more

It's been two months to the day since Silvertree completed the landscaping for our new home. I wanted to wait a bit to see how things grew in and allow any potential problems to surface before posting a review. I'm pleased to say, there have been no problems and we're absolutely overjoyed with the finished product, as well as the professionalism, attention to detail, and courtesy of Keith and his staff. We received quotes from three local landscapers before deciding to go with Silvertree. All were pretty close on cost, but Keith was the only one who really listened to our ideas. He still offered opinions, which were welcomed, as his expertise in this area far exceeds ours, but at the end of the day he wanted us to feel like this was our project and his role was to advise and execute. Of the other two quotes we received, one pushed plants he wanted in our yard (it turns out he owns a nursery, so I'll let you draw your own conclusion), the other kept telling us, "You don't really want that", which got old quickly. In contrast, Keith made appointments with us to pick out rocks and ground covering, provided us with lists of plants based on preferences he interviewed out of us, and offered to accompany us to the nursery to be sure we really liked them. We chose to look them up on the internet, which worked better for our schedules. Regarding the crew and the actual performance of the work, our team was led by Hector, who I highly recommend. Polite, professional, and very capable, Hector led the team every day, tools and materials were picked up and stored at the end of each day, and trash was never left behind. We couldn't be happier with the service or the result. In the last two months, not a day has gone by where we haven't walked into the yard, just to look at the plants, the walkway and wall, the lighting, or something else and remarked about how pleased we are. I'm extremely disappointed in this company. We had them do a watering system and lay sod and since then (5 years ago), we've had yard issues. From the beginning the lawn was dying because they spread the heads out too far to not have good coverage in a drought-prone area. We've been fighting for years to get that grass to grow back. This year we decided to have them add more spray heads, aerate the yard, and generally fix the issues so our yard looks better, and the lack of communication is unacceptable. I recall having to stay on top of them 5 years ago to do what they said they were going to do, and this time has been no different. We were supposed to get a quote, I had to text a week later to remind them of the quote, of which came via an informal text. We agreed on the scope of the job and price, and the owner said he would email me a contract. A week and a half later and no contract. I texted the owner asking about it, and three days later I've gotten no response in any form. They were supposed to start the job this week, and no one showed up or communicated. I'm not saying don't use them, but don't be surprised if they treat you this way. read more

What a wonderful company! They are honest and do great quality work and will cater to all of your needs.

Let me start by saying Keith does an excellent job with landscape design and ideas. However the communication and follow through is lacking. I have been extra patient especially during the times of COVID however promises that were made last October have still not been handled and no contact attempts have been made after my last message in late November. It is too bad since I had coordinated another job with this him and was hoping to do some more landscaping in the future. Unfortunately with the lack of communication and follow through I will have to go with someone else. read more

Keith listened to all we wanted to do and made suggestions and shared his vision. Keith made a written drawing and shared it with us. Worst experience ever! they say they come to your house and charge you but i stayed home to watch if they showed up and they never did. one day i watched three men stand out front, turn a leaf blower on and stand there after 5 minutes turn it off and the three got back in the truck and left. when i called the owner right after it happened he stated he would take care of it, today he told me i needed to pay that month invoice even though they didn't do anything. today i parted ways with this horrible company!! read more

Not happy with our service, nothing went right. From beginning to end our project was poorly handled, poor communication, not very friendly, poor quality craftsmanship. All of our plants or dying, or driveway is still waiting on color, and we haven't heard from "Keith" in 2 months. read more

Highly Recommend!! Keith and his team have integrity, professionalism and a good old fashioned work ethic that is greatly appreciated and hard to find these days. What we thought was "above and beyond" was their standard practice. They did an amazing job on insulation for our French Drain. We had a limited amount of space due to close neighbors and they worked with our constraints and were able to get the job done sooner than expected. Our 8-yr. old front and back landscaping needed a definite overhaul. We chose Silvertree because of seeing their work throughout our neighborhood. We are very pleased with the outcome for our yard. Silvertree Landscaping did our backyard and front yard. The concrete which was stamped, was done perfectly. The design was exactly what we wanted and Richard made the process easy. They ran water and electricity across the back yard and installed a gas outlet in the concrete. The irrigation drip system works well as does the sprinkler system in the front yard. They are very busy and sometimes they take a little longer to get started or finish than planned, but it's well worth it. Our yard looks great and we are extremely satisfied with their work and they do respond for any problems that arise after the job is finished. read more

Good job on installation, except it took 2x the estimated time. Beautiful water feature. Not so good afterwards. Within the first 6 months, we removed at least 10 dead plants from front and back. Cracks across concrete slab. Richard came out to see in May 2018 and promised to send someone over. I gave up calling to remind him, which is probably what he was hoping for. read more

We've used them for mowing and trimming for a few years now and they started off doing a fine job. Recently they switched who handles our yard and it's been terrible. (When Brianna Murphey was in charge we didn't have any problems). We have 3 dogs and they've left our gates open multiple times. Today I didn't catch it and one of our dogs got out. This is UNACCEPTABLE, especially when it's a pattern. read more

Keith sold off his lawn and maintenance division to another individual that kept the name Silvertree Lawn Garden Service I am sure that that is the division that she wrote about as opposed to the landscapers. I used Silvertree to do my back yard in my new home in Manteca . I spent a lot of money and paid on time , usually in advance . Shortly after the job was finished the concrete cracked in two places . Several plants started dying . My requests were put off and then I was told that they generally don't replace plants after this amount of time . They ruined my hose and never replaced it . At one point I wanted a larger tree so they removed the existing tree , gave me no credit for it and charged me for the larger one ! In short my concerns fell on deaf ears . Now the rep from Woodbridge tells me the drainage is not proper along the back planter that comes up to what is my master bedroom wall . This might very well compromise the FOUNDATION . The drainage needs to be fixed . I await some sort of response from Keith , the owner as his rep was there for the meeting when the foundation issue was discussed . I am a senior citizen and a widow and I am feeling as though this company is ignoring me and hoping I'll give up and go away . Also , rain is in the forecast ...... that little mound they made for the maple tree should not be there because of the drainage . I have concerns about the pergola. It leaked sap for the longest time and now it is stuck all over the wood . I need answers ... as I said , I'm a senior and asked why they put a mound where I need to walk on gravel to get to the hose . This means I need to walk along the little mound on the slippery gravel . Keith said ' plenty of people do that ' . The placement of the water source should have been considered when he designed my yard .. with easy , safe access . read more
