Kellen was very helpful throughout the entire process and designed a beautiful backyard that our toddler loves. After the initial meeting at our house where she went over the different packages in detail, she and her husband, Jason, came back out to conduct detailed measurements of the entire yard. Once that was done, the design aspect took several days for them to complete because we had very specific requests with regard to plant/tree types and a strict budget range. We wanted drought resistant/tolerant trees that could provide a lot of shade in the summer (our backyard faces due west, so we get a nice hot afternoon sun) but would shed nicely in the fall to let in the winter sun. In addition, we wanted vegetation that would not attract bees and the rest of the yard to be kid and dog friendly. After a few days, she sent us an initial design concept that not only met all of our requests AND came in under our maximum budget. I think I made one adjustment (only because I wanted some room to build a shed later) but she basically nailed the design in one try. After everything was agreed on and contract signed, the Traina team got started on the day/time they said they would. A bit about the team: The team that Kellen and Jason have is incredibly nice and professional. They were great with our dog and our son had an absolute blast watching them all work and interacting with them when they had time. They took care of the yard and workspace, ensuring it was tidy and clean at the end of each day. The project was completed on time, under budget and the best part was that they had some leftover mulch so they took it upon themselves to spruce up our front yard by adding the left over mulch. I had never asked them to do anything like that. They're just THAT awesome! Honestly, if I could give them more than 5 stars I would. Kellen and Jason are true professionals and I have to mention super nice as well. From taking measurements in my front and backyard to producing a great design plan. They went above and beyond to work with the budget I had. Their construction crew was very courteous and when the job was done, cleaned up to perfection. They also installed a new timer which is easy to program. Kellen even came by several weeks later with a bag of grass seeds for some of the spots suffering from our extremely hot summer. She brought a sprinkler head and showed me exactly how to adjust the spray. All in all they are fantastic to work with and I will definitely use them again for future projects. We just moved into a new home with a huge backyard full of dirt. There was so much space, I knew I needed it to be professionally designed. Jason and Kellen did an amazing job taking my very long "wish list" and making everything fit into our plans. It turned out even better than I imagined.
