This is a two fold review the guys that did the actual job did great but it wasn't what we asked for. The guy who came and gave us the estimate said they could put a strip right next to our fence, needed it to stop the dogs digging under. After he left checked on the workers and the curb was still 3 to 8 inches away from the fence and the workers couldn't run their machine next to the fence. read more

I rarely give contractors 5 stars. If they don't do an excellent job, I simply don't review them. I was so impressed by the professionalism and high standards of curb-a-lawn, I am adding them to my 5-star group. Curb-a-lawn installed about 340 linear feet of mowing strip in my front and back yard. Some of the strips were colored and stamped to give the appearance of a one-brick wall. It was all outstanding work. Several of my neighbors have remarked how nice the mowing strips look; one even contracted curb-a-lawn to put in mowing strips in their lawn after seeing what they did in mine. I am pretty careful when finding a contractor to ensure the cost of their estimate is reasonable. Curb-a-lawn uses an extruded concrete technique that keeps costs low. Compared to mowing strips installed using forms, the cost of mowing strips using this method is much less. John and his team (Drew and Andrew) arrived when they said they would, completed the work on time and delivered everything they promised. They were a pleasure to work with and were willing to add some additional work for a very reasonable additional cost.
