He came at the time appointed and found the problem was caused by a loose neutral wire in our garage. He reconnected the wire and nut to complete the circuit and restored the power to the circuit. During his work, he discovered that our dining room light was installed incorrectly and dangerously (the sellers of our homes previously "fixed" this as part of our inspection objections). They also added a wall outlet for us, and ran a line to a new security camera and installed that up high under the soffit. They did a great job - everything works as expected, they were respectful working in the house, and cleaned everything up nicely. They had to cut some holes in the drywall to run the wires and they cut very small, neat holes that are easy to patch, and they did a good job communicating that to us beforehand as well.
