I won't be coming back. Both my eyebrows are uneven. The side of my eyebrows closer to the corners of my eyes are patchy. I told her they were wrong and she cleaned them up more. They have a sign out front that says "complain in person but love us on Yelp" that should've been my sign that something might be off. Now I'm gonna try and pluck them and hope I can even them out

In the end I came out with uneven brows and they were really skinny. Upset...seeming that I grew them out specifically to have them nice for an event.i

Eyebrows are uneven! I don't care who I go to they always f up my eyebrows and I mean always and I only go if it's a ER I usually go to zibas , but that's a drive from Pedro. One time I try to get a wax oh my goodness never again they did not know what she was doing. And that furniture it doesn't always seem clean not trying to be mean but I'll just go without getting my eyebrows done and I'll pluck them if I have to the price is good and that's about it read more

The girl who normally waxes my brows has been unavailable for months, so I checked my trusty Yelp app to find someone else to wax me. I didn't want to go far and thankfully Simi Threading popped up. I hadn't done threading in years, but decided to give it a shot. Deepa kindly answered the phone when I called to inquire about their pricing and to confirm their hours. I drove right over and waited as she assisted other customers, first. The wait isn't long, although I went on a weekend. The place is clean and orderly and she also cleans the chair in between each client. She shows you your brows after finishing each one and again at the end, so if there's a problem, you have three separate times to address it. Their prices are definitely well worth it and she did a good job! Deepa was super friendly and we talked the entire time. One thing that I would suggest is to make sure you go on time for upkeep. The longer you wait, the more it could hurt, because of more hair growth. I'm glad this place is local, so I don't have to go far and even better that they're open everyday. read more

Don't go here. The person working on my eyebrows did such a bad job and completely thinned my eyebrows. To make it worse she blamed me for it afterwards and didn't apologize for messing up my eyebrows. Save yourself from a terrible experience and go somewhere else. read more

I gave this place a second chance, which will be my last. The lady jacked up my eye brows..they final are growing back.It was a busy Saturday, I should have left they went through ppl quick so I stayed ..she took it off the top which I couldn't really tell by look in there mirror that it was more than I thought..The lady said "I'm sorry I hurt you" and gave me this look ... probably cause she messed up after taking my tip..you really have to.go home and look ..they'll leave you walking out looking crazy.They are polite so.i'll give a 2 stars. read more

Goma! She's the best! She's super gentle, patient, and such a sweetheart. * I used to hate getting my eyebrows done when I used to go to other technicians, but with Goma, there's no pain! I tried giving this place multiple chances. But after today I will not be going back. My eyebrows were left uneven and extremely thin. She went in with scissors after threading and too much hair was cut off one side. Then she tried blaming the unevenness on my "bone structure". Every time they mess up it's always a new excuse. My complaint was not taken serious and I was not rude about it either. Poor customer service, do better. read more

I haven't had my eyebrows done in months because I wanted to let them grow out so they can be more fuller. If I would have known, I would've did my eyebrows myself. Went today to get them done and damn, the lady fucked my shit up!!!! One eyebrow looks great but the other looks distorted! I could've messed up my own eyebrows for free. Save your $9 plus tip and go elsewhere. So effing mad. read more

The woman who runs this shop is so talented, personable, and friendly. The shop is very clean I almost don't want to share about it in fear of it getting overrun. I do though because she's great and definitely deserves the business! Great prices as well! Some of the lowest I've seen.($8brows, $4 upper lip) I'm not sure of pricing for threading the rest of the face, because these are the only 2 I've had done. if I could give it more than 5 stars I would! GOMA used to be located so much closer to me when she worked in Gardena, but now i always make the drive to see her in San Pedro. i will only get my eyebrows threaded by goma. she usually has monday's off. i have made the mistake of letting other thread my eyebrows if goma isn't in. she has been in vacation for about the past two weeks and i called again today and they said she will still be on vacation for another 2-3 weeks. Do not go here I went there no one was there just me I went there an hour before they close I had one lady do them and she messed them all up so then I had two lady's working on my eyebrows & still couldn't fix them then she told me ok if u don't like them u don't have to pay so I was like ok so can u plz just fix them so both of them r working on them and messed them up so bad I was pissed so finally 45mins later I'm walking out one of them said ur not going to pay lol. I was determined to find an experienced, eyebrow threader who could shape my eyebrows to compliment my face. I found Goma, and she's amazing. First off, I was greeted by Goma and her husband as soon as I walked in the door. I explained that I needed her help, with reshaping my eyebrows CORRECTLY. Goma replied that she would reshape them properly, and still leave a nice, full shape. I was glad. Other experiences I've had at other eyebrow salons, is they would thread too much off and it was uneven. I was so glad that Goma listened to my request and showed me her work halfway to ensure my satisfaction. I loved them and was so happy with the outcome. I was appreciative with Gomas service to me, and her shop offers a stamp card. So after 9 threadings, your 10th threading is free! I love that the salon is local for me, in the San Pedro area. I am a guy that had never sculpted my eyebrows before. Did not have a unibrow, but my eyebrows were thicker than I wanted. Simi threading understands that a man and woman's eyebrows are different. I can leave here and still have masculine eyebrows that are clean looking. But I am sure if you are a guy that wants your eyebrows sculpted like a woman's they could do that as well..ha. I could never sit with tweezers in a mirror, do not have the time. Every 2-3 weeks visiting simi makes my life easier. Cost is less than a haircut and they are super friendly. I have been coming here for over a year now and love it. Goma is amazing! She listens to you and is skilled at what she does. I always get compliments on my eyebrows. She has a very fair price of $8 which she lowered from the previous owner. She also threads much more lightly than other places I've been. It barely hurts with her. Highly recommend her! read more

This place is awesome!!! Goma has a great vibe, and really knows how to work the thread. I am super happy with my eyebrows every time. Oh FYI they do arm pits too!!!
