Upon entering, the office receptionist, Jennifer, was so sweet and patient with my inquiries regarding the initial profile paperwork. I was taken to my exam room straight away for my 08:00 appointment. The exam room seat and hardware waiting for me, was somewhat old fashioned, immediately refreshing my childhood memories of my previous dental office visits from long ago ... especially the X- Ray process ( which came a little later ). Dr. Zussman was most kind, as he introduced himself and promptly examined me, while observing my current x-rays which were quickly transferred from my Primary Care Dentist's office. He proceeded to take just a few more to assist and confirm his initial opinion. He then promptly established a conversation regarding my treatment and further x- ray analysis. During our conversation, he carefully explained my options of available treatment clearly and concisely, which was most appreciated. His candor was quite refreshing as he offered his conservative approach to my treatment options. We agreed, shook hands again, then he left the exam room to take care of the paperwork. Comprehensively, the visit was informational, complete, and most gratifying, leaving me with good news and viable options for future treatment. Jennifer and Teresa up front are super sweet, funny, and really helpful. Erica is my favorite hygienist! Gentle, sweet, and always gives me great advice on how to take care of my teeth. Dr Eric is also really sweet and was very informative and same with Dr. Bankhardt, obviously! He looked at my teeth, looked at my previous X-Rays, and then came back to look at them again just to make sure everything was good to go! At most dental offices I feel like you don't see the Dr until the end and he basically just "double checks" the hygienists work, but I don't feel that way here. They also have 6:10pm appointments on Tuesday's which works great for my work schedule! They are also super fast. I came in for a cleaning and was out within less than an hour. Much to my surprise, my pleasant visit to Dr. Tokuyama has completely changed my view on what a visit to the dentist can be. She is unbelievably gentle, humble, and sweet. She also went above and beyond to make me as comfortable as possible, and ensured I was in zero pain. I truly wish I had gone sooner - that's how much I love this practice. I don't want to single her out in my praises, however. The staff in general was amazing. I had the most interaction with Yvonne who was just a sweetheart. I don't want to end this review without mentioning the pricing. Long story short, they're very reasonable, and much more affordable than other practices in the same area. To sum my review up, I am actually looking forward to my next visit with Dr. Tokuyama. It's kind of mind blowing that a great dentist can make you excited about the health of your teeth. I arrived on time and was immediately attended to by a bevy of smiling faces, all so friendly and comforting. Brenda H. Set up the I V for the sedative, yeah, I choose to sleep through the procedure. Brenda definitely had done this before, the I V was painless. As we waited for the Dentist, Brenda showed me some of the supplies that would be used and explained the procedure. This was done in a very relaxed and calm manner, which helped soothe my nerves. Doctor Wilgus arrived and calmly explained what I should expect and how to care for my mouth afterwards. After the sedative was administered we talked for about a minute and I was out. My next recollection was waking after the procedure. Other then feeling a bit groggy, I experienced no pain. In the week following the procedure, today, I've experienced very little discomfort, I was really pleasantly surprised, the procedure I dreaded was over and it wasn't bad at all. Actually, other than eating soft food, it was no big deal. This is the place to go for a case such as mine, you will be pleasantly surprised!

On two occasions, he's driven an hour from college for an appointment, only to be told he wasn't on the schedule after they had booked the date for him. Most recently, he showed up and was informed he was no longer in network -- with zero advance notice. The office is disorganized, communication is poor, front desk management is rude and the whole experience has been nothing but headaches. I'm honestly surprised by the positive reviews here because we've never experienced anything close to this kind of mess at a dental office. We're moving my son to my personal dentist, who is wonderful. I have been a perio patient for 18 years and have seen several periodontists in three different cities around the country. Dr Wasserstein is literally the only one who did not want me to keep my teeth even though my hygiene is excellent and they are still in place. Multiple dentists have commented on the fact that I have good pocket depth and low mobility and in spite of my bone loss and recession I juggle multiple health issues and have worked very hard to keep my teeth, but all he had was needless negativity. He said "I'm not a fan" with regards to my keeping them instead of just getting implants right away. And he offered no actual reasons as to why he was pushing me to get implants when they aren't needed at the moment. He certainly would have profited, while I would have had to go through surgery before needing it. Edit: I post my reviews under a pseudonym because I have had businesses harass me after I left a negative review
