First, it was nice to get out of Rocklin. It was such a peaceful drive and beautiful! So I walked onto Main Street into the Salon next door. They said they couldn't fit me in. So I walked next door and knocked on the door. Luckily Darcy had just walked in and answered the door. She said she only had 10 minutes till her next appointment but could fit me in for a trim. She did an amazing job and her place is so pleasant. When I arrived home my wife told me that's the best cut I've had in awhile. Thanks again Darcy!

That transformation alone deserves five stars. But let's talk about Jenn the Michelangelo of fades, the Queen of Clippers, the undisputed best barber in Nevada County (sorry to everyone else, I don't make the rules). Jenn didn't just give me a haircut. She gave me: * therapy * life advice * a perfectly symmetrical hairline * and possibly a new sense of purpose At one point I think she even aligned my chakras with a trimmer. My wife saw my haircut and asked if I had secretly hired a stylist from LA. No, babe... just Jenn. Our local hero.
