Pull over and find a dealership, where Mike climbed under my hot car and ziptied the cover back, right before closing time. Immaculate service area, helpful cashier, super nice people. FYI Mount Airy Toyota is on Andy Griffin Parkway. Would not charge me! All at 5pm. So if you need help on the road, may I suggest Mayberry? And Mount Airy Toyota.

That being said, the customer service is extremely lacking and there is No loyalty or help at all for customers that have purchased multiple vehicles from them and had them all serviced here over the years. I tried calling since they opened to schedule service because something unexpectedly happened with my vehicle yesterday, and we are scheduled to go out of town in a little over a week and a half and i just needed to try and get it fixed before we leave. The same thing happened last year and it took them maybe and hour to fix it, if that. Finally got to speak with a guy in service about 3:00pm because i kept calling (no one ever returned my call that i had left previous messages for). I would've dropped it off anytime and even left it the whole week and a half if they would've tried to get to it, but he told me they couldn't get me in for basically 2 weeks and didn't even offer to try to work with me or help at all. I called Parrish Tire & Automotive and they're working me in on Monday. I guess all 4 of my vehicles, 3 of which i purchased from Toyota, will be getting serviced there from now on.

This dealership works hard to make you feel important when you're looking at buying; however, once…read morethe ink dries you're not important anymore. I've encountered service and parts multiple times and had issues. The Parts Manager, with the beard, is so rude, other employees even acknowledge it and agree that he is rude...so my question is, why is he still there? Recently when trying to crank my vehicle with my key fob with me, I kept getting an error message saying that the key fob was not in the vehicle. When it finally cranked, using the key fob, I came to the dealership to have the key fob checked. The lady in the parts department (with the hurt foot) advised that the key fob appeared to be fully charged. The Parts Manager came out and was rushing her to finish up so they can attend a Christmas party from 10:30 am - 1 pm that day. The time was around 10:20 am. He rushed to tell me to schedule an appointment with service. He was very rude and I am looking to schedule my appointment and reach out to upper management to discuss this. I was told the owners were up from Charlotte, and that's why the Christmas party had to happen on time. Maybe they need to reevaluate how their management runs this place when they're not throwing parties. So, to wrap it up, to this dealership you're only as important as you want to be before the deal is done. Once you buy and you drive off the lot, you're no longer important. Buy somewhere else where they'll make you feel important all the time, not just when you're looking to initially buy.
