Thank God I found Todd through a great referral as I needed my front main seal replaced and water pump as well as the starter. Todd was extremely helpful and I would have to say in my 24 years in the industry the easiest person to deal with ever! He was able to finish all this work in one day so I was able to get back up and running as you know how important it is each day we miss. My usual mechanic shop does not provide engine repair and the people they referred to me could not get to it for a month and to be honest I've used them in the past and was less than happy with there work and customer service. I will be bringing my van up to Todd yearly for any major maintenance even though it's a 45 minute drive for me I believe anybody in Southern California could not find a more honest person to work on their equipment. I needed some square tubing to make a support pole for my avocado tree. It took me quite a while to…read morefind a place from which I could buy tubing. A friend recommended Patton's Steel in Irwindale. I inquired via email, and a person named Cody Robinson got right back to me the next day. He gave me a quote for a steel 12-ft piece of 11-gauge square tubing 1.5 in x 1.5 in x12 ft. I had looked at other places, but the prices were crazy, and to have it delivered was, in some cases hundreds, of dollars. I had a few more questions, and Cody answered them promptly. He made me feel very comfortable working with their company. He stated that the product would be on will call for me at the Ontario location which was great because it was on my way home from Fontana. I let him know that I had Thursday off so I would pick it up then, and he said no problem just go to the front desk. I did just that and within about 10 minutes I had a 12-ft square tubing made of steel at my disposal. I really didn't need 12 ft, so I asked them if they could cut it to 10 and I didn't need the scrap. The person with whom I delt, said that was not a problem he took it and cut it to a 10 ft length--perfect. The staff knew their product well and it was very nice to deal with people that knew exactly where product is and how to get it to the customers in a timely manner. Now the Ontario location is a retail location, so I thought it might be more expensive, but I was wrong. Out the door the price was $54.38. I brought $54.40 thinking they wouldn't have pennies, but much to my surprise they did have change and I got two pennies back, I guess two cents for my thoughts hahaha.. This location, has all kinds of tubing, posts, solid and hollow, whether they be square cornered, round, long or short. I was amazed at the selection that they had. If you have need to make a brace for a tree or need to make a cage or tubing for some reason, this is the place to go.
