Words can't express how amazing Chris and Aenid are!…read more I had decided pretty last minute that I HAD to have a videographer for our wedding (about a month prior!) - which lead to sleepless nights watching demo videos online and trying to find a videographer who created beautiful wedding highlights, was within our budget, and was still available for our wedding day! All of which The Candi Project met, much to our joy!!! Chris and Aenid are AMAZING to work with. They met with us about a week after I had reached out to them, and communicated with us to get all the info before our big day (which was only a few weeks away at that point!). The day of the wedding, they went to my now husband's place first to capture him getting ready and were infinitely patient when he was very late in coming back home from picking up his best man! They then came to my place to capture me getting ready with my ladies, then rushed to the church to set up their cameras for the ceremony. It was AWESOME having the dual team and THREE different camera angles at our ceremony. And they were with us at the reception until like an hour before the party ended - which was almost 12 hours!!! They were also ridiculously fast with the editing - our wedding was on 10/5 and they sent us the link to our highlights video YESTERDAY - only 3 weeks!! I can't stop watching our video. I promised myself that I would do it because I was SO satisfied with his service. I reached out to Faraz via email and requested initial information. He was quick to respond which was a definite plus as I was unsure of dates, times, or what I even wanted as far as a photo session. My girlfriends and I were celebrating a mini-reunion in New York, mainly Manhattan area. I knew I wanted some shots of us in the city and skyline views from rooftops. He texted the next day with a detailed list of suggestions, which certainly helped narrow down places to see and check out while we were there. He knew the area well and what photos would look best. The day we met Faraz, he was on-time, had all of his equipment (high-grade), and jumped in to start shooting. We were surrounded by a good number of people on the rooftop of the Viceroy Hotel Central Park but he was able to get good angles and not hesitant to guide us through the various shots. The photos were excellent! And, he really did get a good number of shots that evening. Day 2 Faraz was back to shoot us, but this time with more of my girlfriends. Imagine 4 women with different ideas of what each of us wanted as far as photos. He was flexible, creative with the photography, and showed us samples of what some of the photos would look like as we were shooting. We had candid shots, shots of us crossing major streets of Manhattan (city shots), as well as shots in Central Park at night. He was still able to shoot quality photos in the evening because of his lighting technique and brought an assistant to help with equipment, etc. I would book Faraz again. Although he probably does studio / weddings / family portraits / portfolio shots, etc, what I requested was non-traditional. They were essentially life-style photos and he was able to capture memorable photos with all my girlfriends that weekend. He was flexible with our requests, came up with brilliant ideas as far as shots, and delivered on high-quality photos in a short amount of time. The turnaround time was fast! I received a good number of photos. All were very impressive and he worked with my budget. Delivered on all points! Happy to be a reference, as well! :-)
