My family and I tried figuring out how to fix a sprinkler valve leak from 7AM to 2PM. We all finally agreed to call a plumber, after failing to figure out the issue. We really wanted to avoid paying for a plumber because we were worried about the cost. Even though I called later in the day, Joel was more than happy to come out after he finished up a job. Joel arrived within the specified arrival window. He was very through in inspecting the leak, and offered a couple of solutions. We chose to go with the cheaper option, and Joel was able to fix the leak that same day. The service charge was very reasonable, especially given the current state of our economy. I've contacted other contractors, and their estimates were very high. Joel also let us know what other services he provides, so he's pretty much a jack of all trades. He doesn't have many reviews, but the ones he does have are great! I highly recommend giving him a call for your plumbing needs. He's honest, reliable, and his prices are affordable. read more

Joel came to fix a broken irrigation line and also helped me with my backyard irrigation system that I improperly programmed. The front of my house was always wet in the mornings, I dismissed it as not a big deal. After nearly two months of my water bill being suspiciously high, I decided to look around outside in the morning and saw that the irrigation hose had a crack in it that was spraying water all over the window and stucco. So of course first thing I do is get on Yelp to find a pro and I find Joel who came to my house on the same day of request to see what was wrong. He put a quick fix on it but told me I needed a new line because the irrigation line I had was not good. No charge for that visit. I submitted a quote request and Joel responded right away and stopped by 15 mins later. He troubleshooted and quickly determined the problem and proposed the solution. As it was already end of business day for him and it was getting dark quickly, he stopped by the next morning and got to work. He replaced a capped broken sprinkler elbow with a pvc cap. Although it was a simple fix, the job was challenging as it was underneath concrete stairs but he handled it without needing to cut the pvc line and fishing in a new pvc line. A job well done! I contacted Joel regarding my sprinkler system having a fault and not turning on and a pipe that was broken. Joel came out and provided me a quote for both which I agreed too. Joel fixed the pipe and replaced a piece of the sprinkler value which fixed the problem for the day. The next day the same issued was happening, I contacted Joel and he came out again to try and fix it. Joel stated he was going to get more tools and return the next day. Joel was a man of his word and returned to try and fix the problem. Joel was here for over 2 hours trying to fix the issue. Joel told me that he didn't know what was wrong and returned my money for the portion of the job. I feel like Joel is still learning but for him to come out an additional 2 times to try and fix the issue and actually refund my money, says a lot about his character and is worth a shot hiring him.
