For the first time in my life I had to go to court due to an eviction (I'm the landlord); for some reason I decided to give these people a try. Pretty much everyone was very friendly except for the person helping me with the case!! Do not recommend SAM at all; not friendly, not professional, treated me as if I should already know the process, has a superiority attitude and overall a big booooo!!!! This place was a joke avoid unless you want slow, non communication, and unfinished work.., we tried them they seemed nice and all but quickly realized no calls returned, voice mail full, Sam was the most incompetent person with a million excuses that made no sense then when he did do what he said it was late and incomplete. We then tried to have Odine help us and she would just speak low of Sam yet not do anything. We had to find someone elsewhere since we had no help for simple divorce papers. Also lost 1000 with no one to even contact us for refund since no work was done except 1 half done paper.. thinking bout small claims court to get money back. Where do I begin.... I originally used Simple legal solutions to process my BK a couple of years ago and used a mediator to contact them, granted our BK went through, with absolutely no communication with this company. Fast forward a couple of years and we are in in the middle of escrow and are being asked to get a full copy of our BK report by our underwriter. So I was able to track down the number of the attorney that helped us out, but found out he was no longer listed in the Simple Legal Solutions phone directory, so I tried to get a hold of someone for 2 days straight, with out an answer. They state that their business hours are 9-5... and no one returned my voice messgs. After several calls today, Odine Lamansky picks up the phone, and my phone conversation with her is what inspired me to write this review. I simply called to ask to see if I could get a full copy of my BK report "Simple Legal Solutions" did for my family a couple of years back. She begins with a condescending tone, like im bothering her and asks for my SSN, I advise her that Im not comfortable about giving out my SSN and if she could look it up via my case number. Her reply is described as not only as un-professional, but disrespectful and demeaning, she replied with "My credit is just fine and I definitely don't need yours, but whatever, what is your case number?". At this point, I am baffled by what I just heard and proceed to give her my case number. She puts me on hold and shortly comes back and tells me that it will be $40 to get it over to me, I simply ask what the charge is for and she continues with her condescending tone, "Thats what the charge is". I then politely ask, where I can get the document, she simply replies with "you re going to have to pay that anyway" and has the gall to tell me, that im being difficult. At this point I advised her that I don't appreciate the way she has been attacking me and all im looking for is for someone to help me out. She tells me "to go figure it out or drive out to the courthouse" and adds the classic line "And don't ever call here again!" and hangs up on me. I am truly disgusted at what I just ran into and feel compelled to let everyone know, to STAY AWAY from this place! Odine Lamansky is suppose to be the president of Simple Legal Solutions (according to Linkedin) and is suppose to hold a BA in communications! I am at loss of words at how someone in this type of position, can treat customers like garbage. I believe that her BA in Communications is now null after my conversation with her. The fact that her unprofessional-ism against a previous costumer went this far is beyond me, I have received better customer service at my local farmers market.... I will be reporting this complaint on other sites. Good luck on whatever you might be going through. I strongly believe that there are still good people out there that are willing to help others out with legal issues in a professional, courteous manner and clearly Simple legal solutions is not one of them. I dealt with Sam years ago and he was nice and very professional. I was happy with his service. Years later I dealt with Odine. She was amazing and knowledgeable and personable! I was so impressed. I needed her services recently but could not get ahold of her by phone. I had her email and reached out to her that way. She responded immediately! Initially he pretends to be very kind and helpful but once he has your money you will never be able to get a hold of him. He wasted my time, my money, and delayed my case. Avoid this office, in particular the owner, Sam Rabahieh. He made 3 mistakes on a very simple case of divorce. I am not an expert and I noticed them. He also send the papers to the wrong address!! No one likes being served a summons!! I'm sure most people don't know what to do when served. I went to Odine from Simple Legal Solutions and she took great care of me and got my summons answered. She was very kind and patient with me during all of my long rants and stories. I was really having a hard decision on using her company and not a lawyer since other family members were involved but she was never pushy or impatient with me.(You can't say that about many lawyers) She answered my summons for me and gave me piece of mind and I sure I saved a lot of money not using a lawyer. WARNING horrible. Can't process a simple divorce, no alimony no child support should of been a slam dunk case. Almost been a year now and nothing, on top of that they will not call back or email back and will not advise to where my originals documents are. After so many attempts and no responses I called the court house they don't have my documents and I called Odine advised her they don't have them and she was checking into it... And of course no call or email back to this day. At first I thought they were great and then true colors came out. IF you want to be swept under a rug then use them.. For people who had great service from them you should feel lucky maybe they were good at one time but they are no longer. Pretty sad when you have to look into hiring an attorney to not only get my money back but to complete what they should have done and since my originals with all my personal information on them is lost in limbo have to worry about ID fraud and theft.
