I highly recommend the Desert Sage - it's blue but turns purple with lemon juice. How neat! The tea room was medium-sized. It had a cute and charming Victorian ambiance. They had lots of tea party hats to dress up. So fun! I'm taking a star off because of The Queen's Parlour's PRICING and the design of their service routine. There is a $10 per person difference between the Light Victorian Tea ($35 pp) and High Tea ($45 pp). For an extra $10 pp, you basically get a fruit cup and a second pot of tea (different flavor). The service was impersonal with being served in sequence, so you hear the same spiel table after table introducing each course. It felt very factory-like. There was only one server for the majority of our visit, and she definitely did her best with how the tea service is done here. Again, the food was very good and flavorful. I would return again if a visiting friend or family member wanted to experience the tea room here. I would just opt for the Light Victorian Tea. We did tour the castle after tea and visit the gift shop. Everyone who worked at the castle was very pleasant to interact with.

We've taken tea several times and the menu is always excellent with a great selection of teas. The food is quite filling and is so expertly prepared. Flavor combinations are really great! Thank you Leah and Lisa for the great service!!! We'll definitely be back for the holiday tea. Can't wait. Check them out!

The selection of herbs and loose leaf teas was absolutely impressive. I've got my eyes on a throat soothing tea that I think would be great for the winter.

Now this is my kind of place!!! It is a tea shop that sells real teas -- I live in Austin TX and it…read morereminds me of Zhi tea, but more "apothecary"/old England garden type vibes. The place was POPPING on Friday evening with a long line so I didn't linger but I came back on sat in the AM and it was quiet. If you order tea they do have sweeteners available (monk fruit actually, I had not seen that before!), but they don't do lattes and things of that nature. I was having a stomach ache from eating too much sugar that morning and I got a cup of their peony honeydew tea which I think is new (it was on display when I came in). They prepare the tea bag for you and heat the kettle then you add water and steep your own tea. The flavor was GORGEOUS, I was very very tempted to buy a bag of tea ($12 each I believe) but I had already bought way too much and was trying to travel light - so maybe next time. The cup of tea was $3.50, and it settled my stomach very quickly. The worker who prepped my tea was also super sweet and nice to talk to! And in addition to tea, they did seem to have some other small, gift-y items. I saw a sign advertising afternoon tea as well, and they have large communal tables that invite you to sit and have your tea and study or work or read or just hang around. Overall it's a good thing this tea shop isn't in Austin because I would spend too much money here... it's got such an excellent vibe, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend a drop in to anyone who even remotely likes tea while you're visiting CO springs. It's an absolute gem of a shop :)

Cute tea shop in town! I love tea so I was excited to find this place. I went for afternoon tea…read morerecently. You have to make a reservation online at a certain time and they have a set number of times for that. However I did learn you can pop in anytime for a cup of tea which is nice. I was impressed by the service and quickness is response. I had to make some modifications to my reservation and dietary needs and I was pleased by how helpful and quick they were. I love that you can literally pick any of their teas that they sell for your choice of tea (except for some pre-mixed ones). They have a whole section that's caffeine free too. Food wise it was very good. I honestly don't remember everything that came with. We had some chicken salad sandwiches, cucumber with cream cheese (classic British). The scone was very good and some of the desserts were amazing! The mango mousse we had was not great in my opinion but other than that I was happy. This is just a small thing but just wished they have milk to add to the tea. They only serve half and half but I like the classic British experience so that is my only issue/suggestion. But overall I would go back for sure!
