My friend and I came in for afternoon tea and absolutely loved it here! The place is decorated so adorably and even the outside just makes it look so festive. This was my first experience with afternoon tea so we really enjoyed this. The woman serving us was lovely and helpful. It was reasonably priced in my opinion and we loved trying the teas and little snacks. We recommend the king chocolate chai tea and the wedding blend, and the scones were our favorite! Such a beautiful tea house! I loved it here and our server (one of the owners) was so kind and funny. He suggested his favorite teas and laughed and joked with us. The sandwiches were a perfect size and the tea was delicious. There were so many options! Such a cute place to go. I will definitely be coming back! There's couple of things I wanted to mention or suggest. I'd like to get a refill on the sandwiches if possible. Some places do that and some don't so I understand. Another suggestion is to perfect a scone recipe. They were delicious but I believe they were made wrong and a little tacky-feeling on the outside. There is parking right outside but it's usually really full. You'll have to walk a bit. I made a reservation for two people at 11:30 a.m. Upon being seated, we were told that they no longer serve each guest their own tea selection and that we had to share one selection. This was disappointing, as my friend prefers black, caffeinated tea while I prefer herbal. The service became increasingly uncomfortable as the meal progressed. At 12:40 p.m., we were asked if we wanted boxes, even though we were still eating and had finished only about half of our food. At 12:45 p.m., our server attempted to clear plates that still had food on them while we were clearly still eating. Then, at 12:50 p.m., our server cashed out our check and informed us that our reservation was limited to one hour and 30 minutes. I acknowledged that I had seen the policy when making the reservation, but I had assumed it applied when the restaurant was busy and other customers were waiting for reserved tables. She explained that the policy applies to every reservation, regardless of how busy the restaurant is. That was particularly frustrating because there were only two other occupied tables and twelve empty tables, and our server confirmed that the restaurant was open until 2:00 p.m. Throughout this process, our server repeatedly stared at us and circled our table, which made the situation increasingly uncomfortable. This was especially embarrassing because this was a birthday luncheon and a chance to catch up with my former boss. Instead of being able to relax and enjoy our meal, we felt rushed out of the restaurant. We ultimately left with about half of our food still uneaten and vowed never to give them our business again. The interior is beautiful and deserves a 5/5. Unfortunately, the food was only 2.5/5, and the customer service was a solid 0/5. A beautiful restaurant means very little when guests are made to feel unwelcome and rushed out the door. read more

We've had kind and courteous experiences and we've had a few times where the server seemed to be annoyed at talking to customers (us and other tables). The girls and I are avid tea people and have been around the block with tea rooms. When they are executed well they are great when not it leaves you feeling like what did I just pay for. We did the high tea because you get the most food. Now the salad and soup was pretty good. The scones were good flavors just a bit hard on the edges. For me personally I would have liked some butter to go with them as well as the Devonshire cream. The sandwiches were also pretty good. The dessert not so much. Maybe it was an off day for the dessert but when I go somewhere like this I don't expect a cookie a bit of chocolate frosting on a graham cracker crust and a cake that looks like it didn't come together with canned frosting on top. I expect something more like a trifle or tart or something. The tea selection was very small with several of them overlapping. I'm not sure if I would come back with this one. How did we get so lucky to have this beautiful tea spot open in our city? The attention to detail is definitely noticed. You can't help but feel like a princess when you're here. Matter in fact, a princess walked by us (a little birthday girl in a tiara) while my friend and I were here. They have a wide variety of delicious sounding teas. This is such a cute place. I've had high tea in London and although this isn't quite the same, it brought back some memories. There aren't many tea places in the Springs and I'm definitely an afternoon tea person. So I was really excited to find out this place opened up and was looking forward to trying it out. We had the afternoon tea set. They have a la carte items as well which is nice if you don't want the full experience. Having gone to the UK as well, it was nice to see that they have cream tea (scones with tea) offered. Sometimes that's all you want. Anyway regarding the food, it was all very good. They have a great spread from tea sandwiches (cucumber cream cheese and a curried turkey or chicken breast I don't remember) to chicken salad croissant, mini quiche bite and a savory cracker with prosciutto. The sweets were great too. The scones are fine but it's more of an American style one (flat) as opposed to the British style round ones. So just know that going into it. One of the scones was a bit doughy and I asked the waitress about it, she was nice to replace it with a more baked one. The service is amazing and the decor is awesome. The place is pretty inside and outside. I forgot to check out the store section but I will next time. The price is a bit higher than some other places in town for tea but you get what you pay for with the food, ambiance and service. A total experience. My daughter and I joined my sisters and nieces at Toodles Tearoom this afternoon, and we had the best time. We drank tea, ate cakes, and had a whimsical place to talk and relax. The place was bright and cheerful, and we tried new tea flavors while sharing laughs and good conversation. We left feeling happy and refreshed. Our server was AMAZING and accommodating. The prices were reasonable for the experience we received and the memories will be forever in our minds. My daughter and I are vegetarian and there is an up charge for vegetarian options which consisted of ONE pesto and tomato croissant cut in half and cucumber sandwiches. I'm so bummed our experience here was less than ideal. We made a reservation online but when we came into the restaurant, no one really seemed to know what was going on or where to seat us. Unfortunately, the service was really poor. We had three different servers during our time here, which was just strange. The decor is SUPER cute. The ambiance is perfect- we sat at tables with beautiful tea cups and service was a mix of FUN AND efficiency. We had Steven and another wonderful man (I'm so sorry I didn't write down his name). We got to try all the tea we wanted and the sandwiches, cheese and crackers, scones, chocolate cookies and egg bites were delicious. I ended up buying the raspberry tea to take home. Claire was super nice and friendly! The decor on the inside was super cute!! We shared a pot of cranberry apple tea and that was super yummy. The tea sandwiches were also pretty good, but pretty small. While everything was tasty, including the raspberry white chocolate scone, it's pretty pricey and a little hard to justify, since we were still left kinda hungry despite spending about $23 per person. I went here (accidentally on their opening day!) and was blown away by ornate decorations and a whimsical hidden-book garden ambiance. There is an underlying Alice in Wonderland theme (bunnies and various Mad Hatter references). Paired with a vast combination of florals, crystal chandeliers and book decorations Toodles a pleasurable experience to even just look at! My friends and I enjoyed a large pot of Chocolate Orange black tea, and were happily surprised with sugar cubes on the table. My friend had the almond butter cake which was paired with Devonshire cream and drizzled honey on top. It was lovely and buttery and the cream was rich and thick. My other friend and I had the house scone topped with fresh berries and Devonshire cream. This scone also blew me away! Slightly chewy, buttery and comforting without a waxy residue in your mouth as I often experience with low quality pastries. The English cream complimented the pastry beautifully. The service was wonderful and attentive, they were incredibly patient with us as we were accompanied with a younger guest (2 years old) who couldn't sit still! The bill wasn't expensive and seemed fair with the excellent service and dining experience. I was speaking to one of the owners and he mentioned he also owns/manages Sasquatch cookies with his wife! The service was impeccable, Steve (the owners husband) was lovely and entertaining. The food was amazing, the scones were not like normal British scones but they were amazing. Almost chewy on the outside but soft on the inside, we had blueberry and lemon poppyseed, we also asked for lemon curd on the side! We tried seven different teas, I can't even remember them all. The kings chocolate, orange cranberry, vanilla chai, raspberry lemonade, cookies and cream and apple cinnamon. The inside was beautiful and perfectly decorated, it was so fun to just look around.
