Green iced tea - refreshing after a long walk

Locally owned & a great hidden gem! We discovered Pikes Perk when our Air&B gave us a gift card as a welcome gift. We've enjoyed hot lattes, iced lattes, smoothies, green tea, cookies, brownies & more. We've been very pleased with everything we've tried. They have a variety of syrups, sugar free & even keto friendly syrups, along with other mix-in options. They have plenty of cozy indoor seating along with a table or two outside. You can drop in, take out or stay for a while - Pikes Peak is great for whatever you're looking for!

I love this cafe so much. Visited some family in CO & this spot was really close. I can tell it's popular - there's always a bunch of people there but it's so nice seeing them get the support. Their menu is amazing & has something for everyone. I'm from NJ & their bagels were pretty much comparable to ours. And the coffee was really really good too. Staff was great, ambiance inside was awesome. Honestly, I fell in love with this cute spot! Definitely a must visit whenever I'm back in CO.

Awesome little neighborhood coffee spot that we came to as we were staying in an AirBnB just down the road. Unfortunately we were only able to visit once due to the CoSprings governor mandating that all restaurants and bars would close down due to Covid-19. Regardless we had some great coffee and delicious food. Check out their specials of the day and week at the counter if you are looking for a steal. The week we were here they had a green burrito on special for 10% off. I ended up getting a delicious & made-to-order grilled cheese that came with a small side salad and some chips. My friends ended up getting homemade scones and sandwiches. All of the food and drinks were delicious and definitely worth a try. Many regulars come here and post up to work, write, and just talk/hang out. I love the ambiance here as it allowed you to focus while having some delicious coffee. They even have a bookshelf of books you can grab and cozy up on one of the couches or plush chairs. We met the owner while we were here and heard her concerns about what was going on at the time of our visit. She was super helpful and nice about where to go, what to do, and even what to expect (closure of restaurants, bars, etc) in the next few days that we were in town. We appreciated her information, kindness, and willingness to open up to us as I found it to be super comforting as at that time we were just beginning to understand what was coming and the impact it would make. Will come back in the future next time we are in the area. The mocha I had called Pikes Peak was delicious!

Despite the empty photo, its buzzing with chatty people.

The staff were very polite. The atmosphere was buzzing. I ordered breakfast items, which were tasty. Hand sanitizer on every table. They offer bacon or ham options for sandwiches but not for burritos, sad day.

Cute coffee shop with local art for sale! I went twice and tried the chai latte (upcharge for milk alternatives ) and the Sopaipilla latte. Both were decent. The chai had a nice amount of spice. They have a variety of pastries, I had the cinnamon roll and blueberry scone. Cinnamon roll had the perfect amount of sweetness. The scone was nice in texture, but could have used a little more sugar. They had plenty other bakery items and drinks. Give it a try!

Love the service and ambiance here. My favorite thing to get here is the spiced chai!read more

Nice coffee shop in one of the rooms of a "reclaimed" elementary school, with each of the old…read moreclassrooms being a different business and the hallway housing overflow tables for dining at. FOOD: We got a couple of chai lattes which were okay, if a bit on the sweet side. My wife got an interesting ham-apple-berry-brie bagle sandwich (messy but tasty); I got a breakfast burrito (more of a breakfast panini) (huge, overly-cheesy, but tasty). SERVICE: In the face of a lot of business (it was 11 am, there was a line at the counter the entire time we were there, plus all the tables in the shop were full, as were several more in the hallway), the service was very friendly and fairly efficient. Drinks were ready in a reasonable time. There was a bobble with the sandwich order (drinks are picked up at the counter by name; foodstuff you get a table number marker and is delivered to you), but they recovered very graciously. Since the food was scratch-made, it looks, it was in a reasonable time frame. ATMOSPHERE: Very crowded, pretty noisy, rather spare and worn environment -- arguably all signs of how successful they've been. Saw lots of open laptops at tables -- I suspect a lot of folk enjoy the free wi-fi and good eats and drinks. The parking lot was ... very full, except for the several Tesla chargers, only one of which was in use (we still had a good charge so we didn't make use of them). NET-NET: It was a great place for coffee and a bite on our way north out of the downtown where we didn't have to worry (as much) about parking. In a similar situation, I'd be happy to return.
