Danny was amazing to work with. He was personable, knowledgeable and friendly. He has the majority of prices written on the samples so you know upfront if something is in your budget. I love that I gave him my budget and style of flooring and he instantly knew what samples to pull. Some places will show you things outside your budget hoping to upsell you, not Danny. He's there to help you find what you need. I'd say the only downside here was the minimal parking. There's 2 spots in this small parking lot but it's a little hard to Navigate into and the street parking is usually taken. read more

This is going to sound like the typical story, but its the truth. Bought a new house that had a partially carpeted area. around 700sqft. The rest was original 1950's white oak, so very hard to match. After listening to everyones advice, going to "the guy" your friends and family recommended, dozens (literally dozens!) of samples later we were at a dead end. Either the samples didnt match, or they were outrageously expensive. And then came along Danny and SimpleFloors. This is a one stop shop. Danny was firstly super knowledgable. He explained everything very thoroughly, not leaving out all the details like cost to remove carpet, the cost of the side moldings, types of floors etc. I showed him a picture of our floors, and the next morning he prepared like 12 samples. And said take them for as long as you need unlike other places that were giving 3-4 max for like a day with a deposit. Not Danny. 1 week later, floors were installed. He also was VERY up front about costs and was always very reachable, and communication is so huge for a big project like this. Danny educated us on the various wood samples, checked in real time if the product was in stock, and emailed us with a detailed quote of the labor and materials. When the cartons of wood were delivered to my home, I was dissatisfied with how the wood looked when we placed it on the floor of my home. Danny assisted us in selecting new hardwood without imposing a restocking fee for returning the cartons we ordered. He lets you take as many showroom sample pieces home which is very helpful because hardwood can appear differently in various settings/lighting. Please be warned. Do not go here for your flooring. I bought floors here recently and Danny told me he was sending his guys over to install them. They are not the same company, but I had no way of knowing this. I would have found my own installers if that was the case. I am missing a DVD player, and my hutch is missing a whole pane of glass. I called because of these issues, and Danny absolutely doubted me. He said I was the first complaint ever. My floors started peeling up right away. He said someone would call. Someone did call and was supposed to come out. Never did. Danny NEVER followed up. I am attaching a picture so you see for yourself the damage in less than a month. Our property manager recommended them to me. I told her DO NOT ever recommend them to anyone again. Zero care if there is a problem. read more

Let me start by saying before I walked into Simple floors I was really getting frustrated searching for new hardwood flooring. My wife and I were doing new construction and we had to purchase hardwood floors for a new room and two connecting preexisting rooms. This is the point during construction where I thought my head was going to explode. Once I started doing research on flooring I knew I needed help. I tried the major 'Depot' stores and no surprise no one knew much of anything. Then I tried a few flooring stores in the Noho area and I felt like I walked into a use car dealership. I always felt like other sales people were trying to sell me on something I wasn't asking for. Finally,I walked into Simple floors. Danny was very friendly to my wife and I. I had a lot of questions. I mean a LOT. Danny answered all of them and was very very very patient with me throughout the whole process. When we narrowed our choice on three different types of flooring Danny gave us three very large samples to take home. I can't emphasize enough how low pressure this all was. He told use to come back with them whenever we were ready. Ok, we bought the flooring from Simple Floors and everything from ordering to delivery was smooth. But here's the best part, when I had a general question or when I needed to order a small piece of molding Danny emailed me back and handled immediately. He cares a lot even after you by the product.
