Prior to this appointment, she never told me any rules. I have never done anything like this before so I brought my best friend/roommate with me for moral support. Also, I am a young woman and because she operates out of her house I wanted to bring my friend since it is an unfamiliar place. She opened the door and immediately started berating me for bringing my friend, saying I was "not normal" and "strange" multiple times for doing that. She said "I mean you're getting a brazilian, you really want her staring at your hoohah." She made me feel like I was weird when she was the one making it weird. I apologized multiple times and my friend said she would just go sit in the car, but she continued to make us feel so uncomfortable. She even said "I know I'm being harsh but if you really need her to sit and hold your hand that is not normal." After this experience I decided it would be better for me to leave as I did not feel comfortable doing something so vulnerable with her anymore. If you are going to get laser here make sure you do not bring anyone or you will be made to feel awful. Honestly I almost cried. Do not recommend.

So far she's done a full head SMP (scalp micro-pigmentation) to cover a bunch of bald areas and areas of hair thinning, and she's also working on 2 of my keloid scars from a facelift that I had about a year and a half ago. I've had about 3 treatments on my facial scars and one is almost completely flat already! I can't say enough about her communication with me! She's always kept me in the loop with appointment reminders and letting me know it's time for the next treatment. I also find it pretty satisfying that she takes her time to really explain, show me text areas of colors and making sure I'm completely on-board and happy! During the consultation I was of course asked for my medical history which I provided I let them know I had fibromyalgia at that time. (it is not the owner or the manager in the room with you during the initial consultation, so they are not fully aware of the information provided) I also opened an account through cherry which is a financial institution The Glow Method is affiliated with in order to pay for the procedure per their options. I scheduled my procedure for about 4 months in advance. I made several on time payments as directed. At my Pre-Op appointment I went in and discussed the procedure with Eliza and she advised me against the procedure due to my Fibromyalgia and how much it would hurt, which I was very grateful that she let me know at the time. (When I mentioned this to the manager later on, she brushed it off and stated she wasn't aware that this was the reason for my cancellation ) So I asked Eliza if I could cancel and get a refund for what I've paid into the procedure and she said it would be no problem. Well.. it was a problem. The Glow Method ended up refunding Cherry only a partial payment and they kept the rest around $1500. After several weeks of going in circles with Amber the manager, I was basically told nothing could be done to refund anything else as the Cherry account was closed and they were keeping the deposit of 20% of the total $7,500 which I was not informed about in any consultation (read the fine print ladies) Amber kept having me track her down to figure out what was going on which was incredibly frustrating. She just kept saying she's working on it... If she knew they were keeping the money, then why have me go in circles trying to contact them to follow up? The "transparency" they claim to have was not coming through. I guess the company must be in dire need in order to keep that much money for absolutely no services provided. At one point Amber even mocked and said, "well what do you want me to do give you a check? we don't have checks here at the office haha." This happened to a friend of mine a few years back where they also kept her $2000 cash and wouldn't refund it and that was not 20% of her total. (I had hoped I wouldn't go through the same thing I guess) So if you plan on getting a procedure of this magnitude keep in mind that you will lose any money you have paid into the procedure if you need to cancel, even if you were advised to do so.... This was an incredibly expensive "consultation" I guess I donated to a poor pathetic cause. Ladies there are so many other places to receive these types of services. Don't risk this amount of money on a company that responds in this manner when something comes up.. especially a medical reason. You just never know what can happen by the time your procedure arrives and you may need to cancel, you don't want to lose that much money.

However, I had one experience with my Brazilian that caused me to want to cancel or replacement the treatment of that area. Simplicity wanted to charge me the $199 cancellation fee for the one area and continue to bill be for the other two areas. Cancelling the Brazilian would've changed my bill by a few dollars and I still had until August 2026 (A year from now) until my sessions are complete. I won't allow them to keep getting my money after charging me the full cancellation fee for ONE area of three. I don't recommend Simplicity due to their policy and not because of the employees necessarily.

I have almost no hair returning on my lower legs. Still very happy with the technicians I have seen (only 2). They make the experience very comfortable and are easy to talk to. The facility is extremely clean and well kept. Appointments are always on time and sometimes even early if I am early to my appointment. I have loved my experience so much that I decided to add underarm and upper legs to my package starting at my next appointment. So far, 10/10 recommend.
