I was planning to refer friends, but after this experience, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I had an extremely frustrating experience with Simplicity Laser. Scheduling was very difficult despite multiple attempts. Calls were frequently placed on long holds or disconnected, promised callbacks never happened, and communication was inconsistent. The only appointment offered was 7:00 AM at a distant location, which was not reasonable for someone working full time. When I tried to cancel due to their failure to provide service, I was told I would owe a $199 cancellation fee in addition to the payment I had already made in December (even though the session I paid for was supposed to occur in January and no reasonable slots were offered). What a waste of time and money for such an expensive service. read more

I've been going here for years... have done Brazilian, lower legs, under arms, full arms and hands. Every area has held up really well, even with my breaks while having my 3 kids. I hardly ever shave anymore....maybe 1-2 times a month. Even if I didn't shave for longer, my hair that does come through is very light so it's not noticeable. I started with a groupon package and then have added full body memberships to make it worth it. I will say you have to be committed to it. It won't work as well, unless you do it as many times as it takes. I've seen many girls during my years of doing different areas but Dawn has been there mainly doing my treatment. Allow me to save you much time, money & trouble. If you're thinking of trying Simplicity Laser turn around and run. This company values inconsistency, bad attitudes, hidden fees & inexperience. They sucker you in with the "classic" groupon, upon each visit you are greeted with a different girl each one doing it a different way. Some visits take only 2 minutes, others a total of 5 minutes but never the scheduled 30 minutes that they say it takes. If you think this place is consistent then you can call me patches.. EVERY TIME I went in for an appointment I was heckled by my "technician" to sign up for a monthly deal! Long story short DO NOT SIGN anything from this place. It was my fault that I did not take the time to read the fine print of this 3 page "contract". I was told for a small monthly fee they could treat one extra area. Little did I know I was signing into an 18month contract where they charged me $75 a month and oh BONUS you're charged a $200 cancellation fee! Yes, you read that right 200 dollars to cancel a shady contract. Theres a reason this company charges a fee to cancel their ridiculous contracts HELLO everybody must cancel from this nightmare... Oh you want this little bit of gel to soothe your laser treatment boom $45! Oh you want to reschedule boom were 5 weeks out good luck...Oh you didn't wear a mask boom were charging $20 to your account. Oh you missed a spot shaving boom can't do it, go home cya in 6 weeks. I am giving simplicity laser some credit by giving them two stars instead of zero because of the following: 1) the schedule timing - I have never had to experience waiting more than 5 mins for my turn and the laser time is quick. 2) the price - this place is very affordable for laser and it's location right next to my work makes my life easier for obtaining laser treatments. Compared to what I have paid for in other laser locations, it's is extremely affordable for first time clients. I have had laser treatments before, about 11 times on each area. If you don't know this you need to get an area lasered about 18-20 times for hair to practically be nonexistent for a long period of time before it grows back. The reason I gave this shop 2 stars is because of the following : 1) the customer service line has met me with a bunch of rude pushy sales women and their corporate policies for fees and incorrectly tally the number of services you have had, so make sure to double check. 2) when the technicians leave the room for you to change, they come back in less than a minute. I am very careful with leaving my clothes in an office that has already seen hundreds of women so I take my time and unfortunately they do not. 3) they laser too quickly and miss spots and you need to correct them. 4) it is always a fight to reschedule and if you are fallen sick and unable to come to an appointment and you let them know a day ahead they will take one of your services and they will charge you. I have been coming to Dawn for over a year and I couldn't be more satisfied! Some of the reviews complaining about cancelation fees and not having good results aren't a reflection of Simplicity. They are very transparent about the cost, membership terms and the fact that there are certain things such as hormones or your hair texture that is out of their control on how good your results would be. Hate to give this place a bad review because its a nice spa, but I am very annoyed with the membership / payment options available. I do not live full time in a city with a Simplicity Laser location. I visit AZ frequent enough to make use of a package over the period of a year, but not monthly (and therefore cannot purchase a membership). Instead of allowing me to purchase a package and continue to be a customer, the spa said I have to cancel my appointment and be refunded for my package. Frustrated and confused as to why rather lose business than honor a purchased package. Update, they do not allow refunds to credit cards and have to mail checks??? It's 2022, keep up with the rest of the world and issue refunds to cards used to purchase your service? Not sure why you are emailing me about promotions I am not able to redeem in the first place. read more

Arrive at my appointment time for my first appointment, they gave me tons of papers to fulfill (probably to insure themselves) and after I finished they said "we don't know if we have time to treat you" After they eventually got me to the room, they told me they can't take care of me because my back is not "shaved enough " and they can't shave it themselves. I was a bit skeptical about going here because of the reviews but it was significantly cheaper than other laser places in the area. The front desk woman was very nice and checked me in. Once I went back, I was told I would have to reschedule. Not a big deal but a waste of my time. I walk out of the room after changing and the two ladies are talking trash about me at the front desk. They got embarrassed because they got caught but did not say anything to me. I did countless hours of research on laser hair removal before I started my treatment. Simplicity Laser had the type of laser I needed based on my skin/hair color (Yag laser), so I choose to go with them. I purchased them off GroupOn, but their regular prices are fantastic! They are definitely cheaper compared to the rest of the valley, but be assured that doesn't mean they cut corners! All of the technicians are very knowledgable and friendly. My appointments are always running on schedule and usually go quicker than anticipated. I'm always in and out. One thing I'm not a fan of is when you call the facility, it goes to a call center. They don't have a direct line. The call center handles all of the appointment scheduling, however I wish it could be done online instead of being kept on hold. On the upside, they do let you schedule up to 3 appointments ahead of time. Everyone's results vary based on skin/hair, but the treatment worked great for me!
