I then found Milan because they were a top search hit and were having a great sale, and I was happy to find they checked all the boxes as far as having actual nurses providing the service, and using the most high quality equipment. The consult went over a lot of the same points from medical sites I'd researched on and broke down their methods and pricing very clearly. Office was lovely and clean and they provide everything needed for a comfortable visit, manager and providers are SO nice and knowledgeable. I'm on my 3rd of ~5-7 appointments and it's going great, regrowth is greatly reduced already. The providers take detailed notes and the next time you show up go over the experience and make sure everything is still going well and your skin is ready for the service, and so there's continuity if you see someone else next appt. They keep up constant communication before, during, and after the treatments, which is helpful in understanding the experience and making safe progress, and is also a good distraction because it does get a bit "spicy". Results so far are amazing and the monthly payments are reasonable. I'm SO happy I finally am able to get lasered, literal dream come true, I PROMISE no one is paying me to say all this, I'm just super happy to hype them up!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Simplicity has been incredibly frustrating from start to finish. The biggest problem is the complete disconnect between the corporate booking center and the actual treatment locations. Throughout my time as a customer, I have repeatedly received information from the call center that did not match what I was told once I arrived at the clinic. It feels like customers are constantly stuck in the middle of two parts of the company that are not communicating with each other. The most frustrating example was being told over the phone that an appointment and treatment would be fine, only to wake up early, rearrange my schedule, drive to the clinic, and arrive for my appointment only to find out that I could not be treated after all. The explanation I received was essentially that the call center and the clinics often operate with different information. As a customer, that's not my problem to solve. I should be able to trust the information your company gives me. What made the situation even more concerning was that even the local office seemed unable to resolve the issue. Kaylee, the assistant office manager, was polite and professional, but her response was essentially that she couldn't do anything because corporate would have to tell her what options were available. That perfectly captures the problem with this company. Corporate doesn't seem empowered to properly support the clinics, the clinics aren't empowered to help customers without corporate approval, and customers are left stuck in the middle while nobody appears to have the authority to fix the problem. It honestly makes you wonder who is steering the ship. Unfortunately, this wasn't an isolated incident. The entire experience has been marked by inconsistent communication, conflicting answers, wasted time, and unnecessary frustration. Every interaction leaves me wondering whether the information I'm being given is actually accurate. On top of that, the laser treatments themselves were among the most uncomfortable I have experienced. I've had laser hair removal performed at many different locations over the years and with many different systems, and this was one of the most painful experiences I've had. At this point, I have lost confidence in the company. When customers are paying significant amounts of money for a service, they should not have to navigate constant miscommunication between corporate offices and local clinics. The lack of coordination, accountability, and customer-focused problem solving has completely overshadowed any positive aspects of the experience. I would not purchase another package from Simplicity, and based on my experience, I cannot recommend them. read more

I was attracted to Simplicity because of the cheap price. BIG MISTAKE. Simplicity was kind and helpful until I had committed to a two-year contract, but after that the customer service was THE WORSE I have ever experienced. Wait times on the phones would be 15-20 minutes on average. Representatives were unhelpful. Management was always "in a meeting" and wouldn't return my calls for up to two months. If having sucky customer service was the only problem, i could have gotten over it for the price... but no. Quality was also terrible. For five months i had a tech that would skip areas or go over everything so quickly i didn't see any results. I went through three techs until i found one who was actually good at what she did. This terrible service would have been okay if i could have stayed with this tech with no further problems, but because of a simple booking error I drove six hours to an appointment, only to have it canceled a half hour before it started. I had received two reminder calls and two reminder emails about this appointment, but they couldn't see that they had made a mistake in booking my appointment. I was told I would receive a call from management to reschedule and offer some sort of compensation for my time and gas money, but no one called. When I called the corporate office a few days later I was unable to speak to a manager (shocker) and was told one would call. They didnt. I called in for a month, and sent weekly emails requesting a manager to call me back and no one ever did. By the time I finally got to speak to a manager (Chanelle) she was super rude and acted like it was my fault for driving to my appointment. She offered to tack on a single month at the end of my two year contract. Really? I may have been happy with this offer if I wasn't now two months behind my treatment plan, two months that I had been paying for! When I asked for something better she said she would ask someone and call me back. She didn't. It took another two weeks of calling and asking for her to get Chanelle to call me back. To make a long story short, she finally said Simplicity laser didnt need my business and wasn't a good fit for me. She canceled my account, and offered to refund one month payment. By this point I had been paying for two months just to hear back from her, and hadn't received treatment for three months. DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY! They will take your money and treat you with disrespect, if you can even get ahold of a manager. read more

I recently visited Simplicity Laser in Scottsdale for a maintenance appointment, 9 months after my membership ended. Every time I've had an appointment here, the staff has been incredibly sweet and friendly, making every visit a pleasure. The technicians have always made me feel comfortable and at ease during my treatments. They're also super knowledgeable so I always left feeling well-informed about the procedure and aftercare. As for the results, they have been nothing short of amazing! Not only does the hair grow back much slower, but it's also finer and lighter in color. I can barely see that it's there! I also no longer have to deal with razor burn which is a huge plus. I'm so happy I spent the money to get this done and I can't recommend this place enough! read more

I've been to other hair removal places and had excellent results so when I saw this deal on Groupon I couldn't pass it up. Now I see that it clearly was too good to be true. This place is as unprofessional as it gets. One week after my underarm treatment and the area is still disgustingly irritated, red and blistered. Went in today and had them look at it. Their response? One tech said maybe I'm allergic to my deodorant (HA!) and the manager said it could last up to four weeks, my treatment was too aggressive and I should put some coconut oil on it. Is that a joke? I'm supposed to have confidence coming back here five more times? No products offered, no treatments offered (not that I want them). Bottom line - take your business elsewhere. read more

I came here and ended up getting a membership. Overall it seems like there's only one technician that knows how to do the job thoroughly, Michelle- she's good and friendly! Most girls are not generally friendly, some seem in a rush..and at times the session seems very different from one tech to another.. One girl thought I was a groupon and said " oh! You are not a groupon... let me do this area for you" ( hmmm) One positive thing is that they are pretty good at accommodating if late/early. If this business had genuine friendly staff it would be an awesome place to refer Friends to. Unfortunately, it hasn't been that way consistently. Linda at Simplicity Laser of Scottsdale is incredibly talented. I have been seeing noticeable results on my legs thus far. Throughout the entire laser process, she checks in with me to see how I am feeling and how my body is reacting to the laser. She has clearly educated herself on laser procedures, protocol and hygienic methods. She also has my best interests at heart. For one of my appointments, I had remnants of tanning lotion still on my legs. Rather than taking a chance and burning me with the laser, she simply rescheduled my appointment. I had my first appointment for my face today. Having has laser hair removal in the past the only thing I can say is that my technician was doing it incorrectly. my technician only did parts on the face and completely missed some area. secondly based on my skin color she didn't even pick the correct strength. i left with my daily growth still there and not burned off the way it it supposed to when the laser connects with hair. the whole appointment only took 5 min!!! 5 min!!! when it's that quick you know they are just rushing and not properly going over the areas the way they are supposed to. overall extremely disappointed however already paid :-(. read more

I was in the area so I went in a couple hours early for my appointment to see if they had any openings. Raquel noticed and offered to do my treatments early. Another employee told me Raquel actually sacrificed her lunch break to do it just so I didn't have to sit there for two hours. I had also gotten the treatment zones mixed up, but Raquel went out of her way to shuffle treatments around so it all worked out in the end. She's wonderful! Simplicity Laser is exactly that....simple, affordable solution to laser hair removal. The staff is friendly and efficient and schedule my appointments with enough time so that I feel I get my money's worth. I bought a Groupon originally for just one area but was so happy with the results I got a membership and now barely have to shave!
