Simply Divine Massage is my top pick! Alexis is my favorite hands down!! Honestly though, if she is not available all the other massage therapists there are fantastic as well. It's relaxing, healing, and just what the body needs. I try to schedule my appointments monthly as it's great body care. The rooms are clean, calming and a peaceful spot to let all your troubles melt away. The tables are comfortable and the temperature is perfect. Wanting a more relaxing massage? No problem, although small but mighty, Alexis is known for her strong hand but, she is extremely versatile and can deliver. Just remember to tell her if you want more or less pressure so she can adjust accordingly. If I have an extra tight muscle, Alexis pulls out her cups and goes to town with some toxin-pulling cupping that gets to the root of the problem. If it's worse, Gua Sha is the treatment that will fix just about anything (in my opinion). Muscle scraping is her gift!!! I leave there looking like I was beat but feeling a million times better. I have been going to Simply Divine for about a year now. They are a great choice for massage because of the level of experience these therapists have. Recently, I took a chance and set an appt with Aleks as he was new but was available. One of the challenges at Simply Divine is that they get booked up months in advance! I am happy to report that Alex was awesome! Knowledgeable and professional. Very effective massage techniques that addressed my chronic back pain. I was going to Hand & Stone and decided I wanted something less "corporate feel" and found this place! I'm so glad I made the switch because I've had nothing but amazing experiences with each visit! I see Alexis and she is simply the best! I always walk out of there feeling refreshed and so relaxed! I was also seeing her when I was pregnant. The massages helped so much with all the tension and back aches. The rooms are super cute and just gives you the homey- warm and fuzzy feel. Another thing I want to point out is that they don't try to sell you with memberships here. I found that highly annoying at the other place I was going to. This hidden gem is a great place for a massage! My wife has had the owner Alexis before and loved the massage. My wife is picky as she loves deep tissue and doesn't get it often where Alexis was able to communicate and adjust as needed. I have had Ryan who works there and he was able to work out many knots in my back. I am a bigger guy and carry lots of tension on my upper back and neck. My massage was exactly as you described. I did not know her name because she never introduced herself to me but OMG I am in so much pain today and this is the second day. Whatever she did to my wrist, ribs and neck is awful. I have bruises everywhere. Washing my hair last night hurt because my neck hurts so bad. I can hardly hold my phone up because my wrist hurts so bad. I would be shocked if she had a massage license honestly. I asked where she went to school and she said "uhhhhh uhhh Washington". I'm writing another review about Jessica because I think people don't understand the type of massage she provides. I've been seeing Jessica for several months now and I continue to see her because she understand anatomy and how everything is connected, so feeling pain in one area, stems from a different area. The amount of pressure she uses is intense, BUT it is supposed to be that way. Deep tissue is deep tissue. Jessica knows exactly how to help alleviate the pains I get in my hands and upper body. She's a massage therapist, not a foo foo masseuse. I see her about every 3 weeks because it's about that time I might start feeling my problem areas starting to feel tweeked again. read more

I had my first massage yesterday with Jessica. This was the most painful massage I have every experienced. I have been migraine free for several months now but this unbearable pain since my massage has not only triggered a migraine but nausea as well. Although the masseuse was very friendly I would recommend asking a few questions prior to starting the session. In addition to picking up on cues such as wincing and asking if client is doing ok. I normally don't write reviews but felt the need to provide some tips for customers. Make sure you let the masseuse know your wishes and voice concerns throughout session if any. I think this would've been accomplished in my case but instead Jessica decided to defer filling out paperwork until after the massage. I recently had a massage from Simply Divine Massage with Salena earlier this month. She asked me what type of pressure I would like and I said Medium like I always do when I have a massage. I told her I had overworked my back and had a sciatica problem. So she began to work on me. I noticed right away she rubbed different than anyone else had done before. When she started on my lower back and sciatica area i could tell she started using more pressure. There were several times she pressed to hard. But, stopped when she could tell I was hurting. After the massage I could tell my lower back was hurting but it wasn't until a few hours later when it started to hurt really bad. The next day I noticed in the mirror that I had an indent in my lower back. I could hardly walk, and was nauseated when I did. Since this happened I have had an x-ray and MRI done. Per the back surgeon what the MRI showed was fat necrosis in the right buttocks. There are only certain reasons this could happen and mine was from an injury from the massage. He referred me to pain management and that doctor told me there was nothing that can be done for it. It will take months and months before the pain will stop and for the rest of my life i will always have the indent. Now, my grandson went to Simply Divine Massage for a year and saw different people there. He always felt better and I appreciated their help. I have also seen several other people there and always felt better afterwards. I just wanted to share my experience. read more
