But I went through with a visit because he answered every question I had thoroughly and quickly. Upon arriving at Nathan's family home where they breed goldens I felt very good about our decision. When you first pull up, there is a large professional AKC breeder sign. Down the drive way there is an large fenced in, grassy area and huge building devoted to these dogs. We were greeted by several very happy golden retrievers behind the fence. Nathan came out to meet us and was incredibly friendly and helpful. He introduced us to our new pup's parents, both looked very healthy and well-adjusted. Our little guy, Andy, was very sweet and happy-go-lucky. Nathan provided us with all of the official AKC paperwork, along with shot information (Nathan and his son give the animals their shots under the supervision of a veterinarian). He explained to us that, in his 12 years of breeding, he has never had anyone call him back with concerns of genetic, hip, or other major health issues. But encouraged us not to hesitate to contact him if we encountered any issues. He also sent us in our way with a bag of dog food and requested we send him updates with photos! I would absolutely recommend this breeder to a friend. His style of breeding is more "old-school" with fairer prices and no website, which I ultimately appreciated. UPDATE: Andy is now 1 year and 5 months! He is in perfect health, very well trained, and is soooo sweet. He has the funniest personality! These dogs are pampered! They are treated like babies. Never locked in cages. They are in cribs, play pens, and exercise pens. This was what made me check them out in the first place and when I first saw Aria's picture and read about her, I knew she was the dog for me. Aria has an amazing personality. She was estimated to be 8 lbs fully grown which is what she is. I personally wanted a dog around that size so they are sturdier, but if you are looking for a smaller dog they definitely have them. At the same time though, the moms are healthy sizes. They are not taking runts and breeding them with runts. When they do have the extremely tiny pups, it is just how they came out, not from generations of runts being with runts. Aria is also playful. I wasn't sure how playful she would be at first, but she loves running outside, chasing her "cousins", she loves taking tiny toys and tossing them in the air. She is not possessive if you try to take one and she does not believe that "she is the boss." She is just all around a GREAT dog. I have never owned a better dog. She was checked at the vet when I first got her and had a clean bill of health. Overall, I recommend Ajjls yorkies because they produce amazing yorkie puppies and they are knowledgeable, responsible breeders.

Those were her favorite toys at this event. She didn't care about the treats, that was an extra. (I know we have a strange dog here not caring too much about all the free treats at over 20 booths but she had fun!) Bella and I took home lots of treats, toys and food from vendors like Pet People, Mutts and Co, doggie day cares, etc. She was even kind enough to share her food and treats she received with her friends. See she does have a good heart sometimes! My girl even got a signature from the local news anchors Karina Nova and Molly Brewer from 10TV. I cannot wait to come back next year and experience all the vendors from pet stores to trainers, local media stations, etc. We had so much fun and appreciate all the time and attention these vendors put into this event to make it a great day!
