She has had no previous issues receiving vaccines. Today we did not see the same dr/vet there that we have previously. The vet tech/assistant was holding my puppy and had her ready for the vet to administer the vaccines. The vet was very chat, and delayed giving the vaccines. Eventually puppy started getting nervous, and started to jerk away. She did not attempt to nip or bite. The vet made the quick decision that she did not feel comfortable, and want to reschedule and send her home with medication to sedate her and have me bring her back. I felt this was a little unnecessary, but agreed. When I went to check out I was told I was paying for an office exam and the meds. When I enquired if that meant that I would not be paying for an office exam when I brought puppy back, they stated I would. When I started questioning this the receptionist I was speaking with became very rude. I told them I did not feel this was fair as I did not make the decision to not have the vaccines given today. I spoke with the office manager, who was quite condescending, and apparently didn't think I understood why I should be paying for 2 appointments. Ultimately I advised them I would not be bring her back, and made her an appointment elsewhere. I probably would have just paid for everything, had they not been so nasty about the fact I was even questioning it.

Recently I had to put my best friend down which was a very difficult and painful event. During the last moments with her, the staff kept me very well informed and gave me immeasurable support. But, if it loves to get muddy, run non-stop and play like crazy, this is the place for you. We're not big fans of our dogs staying inside all day, so this has been a great option for us when leaving our dogs. The staff gave glowing reviews and said that my dog was happy to see them and great, no signs of anxiety whatsoever. However, he did not recieve all of his veterinarian prescribed medication (I counted it before giving them the bottle and knew how many doses he needed), despite multiple instructions to do so no matter what. As a result, my dog came home having chewed hair off of his tail, and licked fur off of his forepaws - generally he does this only when extremely stressed. Also, the turnout was very small, no way a larger dog could stretch out his legs. They did give him walks and lots of attention - Lori knows what she is doing, but her help don't seem to follow through all the time. Overall, this place is great for people with well-balanced social dogs, but not for ones with insecurity.

Things like a fenced in parking lot so in the event a leash slips you are worried about your pet running into the road. We've had to purchase different collars in the past to take them to daycare, at All Tails they already have you covered. Check in and pick up are a breeze. And most importantly they keep the environment safe for your pets! The products of all of that are peace of mind for us and tired pointers when they come home!

Today I took my dog to be groomed and get a summer cut....I told the girl who took him back, "do…read morenot cut his ears length" she nodded ok, A couple of hours later I received a call "I am so sorry I did not see the note regarding Charlie's ears" of course they are extremely short; this is a shiatzu; I would think a dog groomer would know not to do that. common sense....of course I flipped out when I got him. They were waiting for me to keep apologizing however when someone messes up your dog, there is no apology that will work, you are furious which I was. Did I flip out? Yes.....more than I would any other time, after hair grows back. The comments from the groomer were what really set me off see below 'the jokes on you....I've groomed ur dog before and you loved it" "like I said I'm sorry.... lol....okay maam These were her responses to me, verbatim. So for me to be extremely angry when I picked him up is an understatement. Now they will come back and say, I was outraged.....I was....I used profanity.......absolutely mainly because they could care less that I was extremely upset over the exact thing I had asked the not to do. I guess at the end of the day I should have known better to take him to a groomer I did not have any history with. On July 20, my dad took his dog, Bogey, to JB's for an overnight stay...to be groomed on the 21st. When it got to be 4pm on the 21st and my dad hadn't received a phone call that Bogey was ready, dad called and learned something HORRIBLE. After grooming Bogey, they took him outside to go to the bathroom. "Outside" consists of a fenced-in, concrete area in full sun. NO SHADE. NO WATER. The handler who took Bogey outside left him there and came back in, claiming to tell another employee that he was out there and to keep an eye on him. A full 45 minutes later, they realized that Bogey was still outside. They brought him in and tried to cool him down. Dad was told all of this when he made the call at 4pm. They asked him to wait an hour before picking Bogey up. Dad said no and started to head over. They called back and said they were taking Bogey to the vet. Dad met up with Bogey at the vet's...who suggested Dad take him to OSU Vet Center in Dublin. Dad immediately did. They put Bogey on IVs and took many other measures to save his life. On the morning of July 23rd, vets at OSU informed Dad that Bogey's kidneys were failing and he was going into renal failure. There was nothing more they could do for him. Dad gave the vets the okay to have Bogey put to sleep.
