The store was picked over. Much of the stock, formal dresses and casual wear, was gone. Other items were thrown about, very disorganized. I feel badly that many places are understaffed and supply seems to be at an all time low. The lines were immense. You could not even effectively walk around and look at the clothing very well. We left with nothing. We could not even find one item to attempt to try on for the season. I would not discount coming here in the future so I hope next time we need a formal or even school clothes this store will offer us more. This is not a review about any one individual. While we did not even get a chance to interact with people who work here, there are no complaints against them. I am sure it was very stressful. I hope the company will be able to restock the store sometime soon.

One staff member was very kind and tried to help by finding boxes, but another employee (possibly the manager) came out, took them out of my hands, and firmly said no. She repeated that I had to select "gift wrap" during online checkout, but from a customer's perspective, after waiting in a long line, receiving 10 gift items stuffed into a small shopping bag was extremely disappointing. I understand store policies, but I expected at least a simple wrapping option or even an extra shopping bag. The way I was spoken to and dismissed made me feel very uncomfortable, and I couldn't help feeling that I was being treated differently--possibly because I'm Asian. I definitely won't be returning after this experience, and I regret not asking for the employee's name (short-haired lady with not-so-fluent English).

Her price point is below many of the boutiques as well. She has JUDY BLUE, which is the best kind of jeans and hard to find. Her size point is great as well. I have seen sizes from XS-2XL. She also has a point system that links to your account, (so that you don't have to worry about keeping track of a card or something like other places have done) & when your points add up you get a discount off of your order. There is always sale items on the back racks. She does pop ups and fun sip and shops. She posts on her Facebook and IG, so I make sure to follow so I can stop up and have a mimosa and shop. :) I have ordered online and I love that it gives a description and size measurements so that I have no problems. Needed to pop in and grab a jacket, and I was able to do that, so that's good. My reason this store…read moredidn't get a higher review is that A. the store smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, so much so that we all noticed it and couldn't wait to get back outside. And B. one of the staff ladies was a little too in-your-face while we were browsing. I know she was trying to be helpful, but it was a bit much. I'd probably skip heading back and either go downtown to the Carhartt store in Detroit, or go to the Carhartt shop in Howell, if were out that way.
