I was glad to find some shoes on clearance at the store, and I ended up buying a pair. There were some cool looking shoes in green that I really wanted to buy, but I decided to go with a more neutral color tone. The store itself was not bad. This Kohls replaced the Grand River/Middlebelt location in Farmington Hills. I remember visiting the old location, but I've come to this spot much more! I had the opportunity to visit it during the grand opening weekend. There were sales associates everywhere offering Kohl's charges and 20%. The racks were neatly arranged and it was so much fun to shop there. Fast forward to know, and this Kohl's is still well-stocked and a blast to shop at. This Kohl's replaced the one by me on Grand River/Middlebelt. This was a horrible decision on their part, because suddenly, it's filthy and totally disorganized. I came here looking for dress pants. Simple enough, right? Mmm...Think again. Everything I tried on that was labeled the 'correct' size for me (size 4 or 6 in Ladies) seemed too small, too big, too short, etc. Now, I checked the tags/hangers SEVERAL times because not everyone puts things back correctly - I'm guilty of that, even - so I talked to an associate and she said, "Oh, it looks like they were all tagged wrong. Sorry about that." and just walked away. Yikes. The dressing rooms I went into were gross. When I say that, I mean it - they were *really* gross. The first one had an odor to it. There was an old Starbucks cup in the corner. The second one's floor was coated with hair, dust, particles, and a safety pin was even on the floor. Not only that, when I went to throw my pants up over the door of the second one to give them to my Mom, a GIANT cloud of dust kicked up. Um, do you guys just not clean this place? The only redeeming quality of this Kohl's + 3-star-worthy experience was the wonderful woman at checkout. Otherwise, I'll travel to some other Kohl's that isn't this one. read more

This location is usually clean and organized. I don't have a problem finding the things that I need. There are a few people who work the sales floor and offer assistance when they see you browsing. The clothing is also a decent quality. I've never had a problem with anything I've purchased from Kohl's. read more

Kohl's conveniently located at 7 Mile and Middlebelt Roads with lots of parking right next to a huge Walmart. The store is always spotless with items being restocked regularly. Just a couple days ago my daughter and I did some post Christmas shopping with Xmas gift cards and walked away with really great deals. And we were asked no less than 3 times if we needed help finding anything! I would highly recommend this store and their helpful staff. read more

I live in Birmingham Alabama. I ordered my niece & her baby some items from Kohls on July 5, 2023 got the item on July 7, 2023. The order included my niece information so she wouldn't have an issue with pick up. I placed another order on July 3, 2023 it had been delayed from July 7, 2023 to July 12, 2023. The items arrived with NO GIFT RECEIPT OR PACKAGE RECEIPT even tho it is selected on my order. When my sister went to exchange her items she was treated as if she committed fraud. The name on her license matched the name on the order. They stull refused her the pick up stating I the Card holder needed to be present for pick up. Her name was added to pick up because im in Alabama she is in Detroit. They told her they could not except the order# & returned her items for $50 less than what I paid because they said it was a no receipt return. When I called to the store to speak to store manager Miss Elzeizta the manager said they don't give out the mangers name but would take my name & number to give to her so she would call me. When my niece arrived to the store with the same info for her item she was treated poorly by rude & unprofessional adults who accused her of stealing. If they had only looked up order number info they would have seen it was all on the order Paid in full with Gift RECEIPT selected. There is also a note attached to the gift receipt. I tried for hours to call 248-476-1839 to correct the issue with my order since Kolhs didn't provide them with gift receipts or a package receipt. Every person of color doesn't steal or commit fraud. Kohls didnt provide them with a receipt they should have been called & not my family being treated like some crooks. When I finally spoke to a live person at this location she immediately denied me the right to speak to a manager repeating they can only get my info. I was also treated poorly before they hung up on me. I tried to call bk for an hour/ 17 mins with no answer. I will never use this location again. The employees are horrible ppl to customers & I will be filing a complaint. I will also be disputing those charges because Kohls employees took my money. This location should be closed read more

I'm so annoyed with Kohl's cheap clothing and jewelry. I've had to return two pairs of Lauren Conrad jewelry in the last two weeks to this particular location, which is a bummer. One necklace broke and tarnished and one pair of earrings, also which broke out of the blue. I like the clothing a bit more than the jewelry section BUT their "sales" prices are still way too expensive and inflated - it's a steal to find something here under 15$, and honestly, the styles and brand quality can be matched and topped by stores such as Old Navy and Marshals. (Or for all you highly intelligent and treasure-seeking customers, your local thrifting store.) A pair of sandals I purchased here about four weeks ago are eating at me, and I'm awaiting the day with receipt ready & in-hand when they bust and I have to return yet another item to this Kohl's. The positive is this particular location always has some really gracious salesperson to help me out and apologize, so that's a bonus. But if something else breaks and I'm turned down on returning or exchanging, it'll be over for me and Kohl's for good. This location is nice and clean. They have a good selection of active wear. They have name brands like Nike, Fila, and under armor. They have the beauty section that includes name brand makeup. It's basically like all kohl's, but is really nice and clean. read more

WOW! What an awesome experience! I truly hope that they will keep this facility a clean and as organized as it is now. Love the shopping carts. Love that you can move around with the carts ; ) As always they have great prices, but I think JC Penny's is going to give them a run for their money. I think there was a good amount of selection in both the women's and men's dept. I don't think its as big as the Haggerty location but it's so much cleaner and more organized. There weren't all these racks and racks of clothing, with mismatched sizes and prices. It was very easy to find the sale signs and the items under the sale sign were on sale. Love having a Kohls near my house that is worth going to. I hope the Haggerty and Westland (westland Mall) locations will step it up and get their stores cleaned up and organized. Just an amusing side note, don't let the grandmas who work there, fool you. I was in the perfume section (which I will talk about in a bit) and I overheard the customer rep (lil grandma) talking on the phone to a store manager. QUOTE " I'll tell you what he needs to do. He needs to get his ass off the phone and get here in the store" BHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Apparently she was wanting the issue with the locksmith resolved NOW! Clean and organized yes... But by far some of the rudest sales ladies I have ever met. Unbelievable to me how some people still have a job. I've been shopping here since they opened this location. I find that it's always clean, bright and cheery! I had an experience today that will keep me coming back for sure...I placed an online order and they said that they would send me an email when the item came in. After about a week, I realized that I never received the email and that's Kohls cash that I planned on using had since expired. I went to the store and explained the situation to customer service who did see my recent online order and told me that it was, for some reason, returned to the shelf. They offered for me to go and find the shirt and they would honor my expired Kohls cash. Once I returned to customer service, not only did they give me my Kohls cash, but an additional 15% off for my inconvenience! That kind off service just don't exist anymore!! I love Kohl's & I'm very happy that they moved to the new location on 7 Mile at the Livonia Mall. The store is setup pretty much the same as the old one on Grand River so I still spend too much time walking in circles but that's always been the standard for Kohl's. I was here twice last week shopping & spending Kohl's cash & I was happy to hear that this building (which is new) is LEED certified. My only complaint is the long lines for checkout, it seems like no matter the day or time I always have to wait at least 10 to 15 minutes for checkout so they need more registers. I don't know if they have registers on the other side of the store like the old one did, there were never any lines over in the mens department so I would checkout there. Next time I go in I'll have to check for the other register sections. read more

I came to Kohl's to pick up an order that was placed online and when I went to go pick up my mother's order it was put back after she had spoken with somebody that they were going to keep her order even after it was supposed to be put back due to her not picking it up in time. Brenda who works at the Seven Mile location went up and Beyond to try and help me retrieve the items because she felt bad that they were put back she also gave us a coupon for the hassle. Even though the items weren't available after we searched for them I still appreciated her help and the time she put in for me. She gave great customer service! read more

Horrible customer service. Called to see if they carried in store, a particular line of items that they advertise online before I left my house to drive to kohl's several miles away. After dealing with the automated system somebody finally answered and then immediately transferred me. Sat on the call for six minutes. Hung up and dial again and again set on the call for another 6 minutes. By the time somebody answer to say that no one is picking up in that department, I was already walking in the store. Only to find out that they don't carry the items in store. I got excuses from the customer service desk and manager. Somebody called in, it was shift change.... won't go back to that store again! read more
