It got to the point that I had to go to urgent care to then go to a podiatrist to then be told I needed physical therapy. Luckily for me, I got sent to Florida Occupational Healthcare. For a month, three times a week, I had therapy at 7 in the morning. To begin with, I'm not even a morning person, yet these people made it worth my while. I didn't dread coming in the morning. I was always treated with kindness and respect. From the receptionists to the physical therapists, every single person working has a smile on their face. Not to mention that one of the therapists, Danny, makes some amazing coffee. That aside, my therapist was Alain and I'm grateful that he was with me in my journey to fully recover from my sprained ankle. He wasn't just my therapist, he was someone who pushed me to do better in and out of therapy. I don't doubt that now that I return to the gym I will be taking with me some of the exercises I did at physical therapy. All in all, I'm glad that if I had to get physical therapy, I got sent here. They treat you like family. I'm happy I've healed, but I'll miss everyone. I guess with that, I have one thing left to say: Thank you, all, for doing what you do.

I honestly did not have high expectations from past experiences with physical therapy. But I was really impressed with Jeremy's knowledge and the difference of his treatments. Matt the physical therapy assistant has amazing skill in what he does, BUT management is deceitful. I've recently received a nice bill after management confirmed prior to my first session that they were in my Healthcare Network and I only needed to pay a $50 copay. I should've verified this with my insurance, but I thought I could trust them. The best part is they collected $50 per session for a total of 12 sessions and did not tell my insurance that I paid the copay. Additionally, they excluded my payments from the bill they sent me. As for the actual practice it is NOT recommended for the following reasons. First, your first session will be with a physical therapist who isn't a permanent therapist at the location. He was clear that he was just there, because they have no one else. Additionally, the physical therapy schedule he prescribed was not followed. He clearly explained to me what the assistant would be doing with me, but when it came to my actual sessions were basic. 10-15 minutes with the electronic pulse massager, ultra sound, and a 10 minute massage. They charged my insurance $245 on top of my $50 just for that! keep in mind you can buy your own electronic pulse massager for $20 on amazon and an ultra sound machine for not too much more. It's absolutely ridiculous! On my last session I expected to receive a post therapy plan, because the physical therapist at the beginning told me I would receive one. All of that was crap. They did one last massage and told me to just go start running. This place is ONLY interested in taking your money and that of your insurer. DO NOT GO! Since I have received my bill I have called them twice and was told I would receive a call back. Since my insurer didn't pay the ridiculous $245 x 12 sessions, they sent me the bill. Guess what.... They haven't called me back. I've filed a complaint with my insurer and hope this post keeps people away. Go somewhere that will invest in your body and your health. After having pain in my leg several months after having a knee replacement, I toughed it out for…read moreseveral months. When I could no longer stand the pain (and literally stand), I went sought advice from the surgeon's office. They suggested I go for physical therapy. I was reluctant at first since I interpreted PT to mean physical torture, at least that was how it was after surgery. Hoping to have a new start, I took the advice of a family member and gave Physical Therapy Associates a try. I went to their website and read the about us information and was impressed. I went for my first appointment with Dr. Fiebert. As he conducted the initial assessment, he continually asked if various bends, flexes and stretches hurt. The previous facility I went to did not pay much attention to things hurting and wanted me to soldier on through the pain. (At the time, I thought was the norm.) After concluding the assessment, he said he thought it could be resolved in 5 or 6 visits. Before leaving, I spoke with their friendly receptionist Chris who scheduled my other appointments. Over the course of a few weeks, I went to my appointments doing the various exercises that were recommended. Dr. Fiebert and the various staff working in the therapy room continually checked on me as well as other patients asking if anything hurt. If some things hurt, they had the patient stop and then assessed the issue. The difference between what I experienced with the other facility I had used previously and Physical Therapy Associates was like the difference between night and day. Most importantly, my treatment at Physical Therapy Associates has me back to normal with no more pain and armed with the knowledge of how to prevent and resolve it should it happen again. If life's aches and pains are getting to you or you have a situation where you need physical therapy, Physical Therapy Associates is your answer. Dr. Fiebert, his therapy staff will have you back to where you want to be. They are knowledgeable, effective, and compassionate. Had I known it was going to be so effective, I would not have waited so long to go in. It would have saved me a great deal of pain and money from not taking Tylenol. Thank you Physical Therapy Associates for such a great experience which was truly therapeutic. I would give them 6 stars, if Yelp added a star to the rating system.
