From the start, the administrative team--including my case manager and the owners, Melvin and Meghan--were consistently responsive, supportive, and genuinely invested in my mother's care. My mother shares her home with her 93-year-old partner, who also has dementia, and Granny Nannies understood the complexity of caring for both of them. Our primary caregiver, Marie A., was truly exceptional. With over 20 years of experience, she brought not only professionalism but deep compassion and warmth to her work every single day. Marie cared for all of their needs--providing physical and emotional support, managing doctor appointments, coordinating care, and keeping the household running smoothly. Her presence brought peace of mind to our whole family. She supported them through a wide range of challenges, including a broken hip, anxiety, depression, and the daily realities of dementia. Marie consistently went above and beyond in every way, and we are endlessly grateful for her dedication. We were also fortunate to have Anna G. assist Marie at times. Anna is sweet, warm, and caring--her gentle presence brought additional comfort and kindness to the home. She and Marie worked together beautifully to provide consistent, high-quality care. We feel incredibly lucky to have had such a remarkable team by our side during such a difficult and emotional time. I would like to do a review of caretakers from Granniesnannies. I recently had the pleasure of meeting Annabel Fernandez who spent two weeks with me because of an injury. Annabel is a very caring professional. She exudes happiness and helped to cheer me up which, I think, helped me to heal. Always helping me with my needs even in the middle of the night and with a smile on her face. I also had a wonderful experience with Thaura Abdalia for several months. Thaura, also very professional and helpful and she is a gentle soul. Always willing to do whatever I asked to be helpful to me. Easy to talk to and my little dog picked up her good vibes and like to hang out by her, she'd get excited to see her when she arrived. I only saw Elizabeth Cruz for three days but I liked her immediately. Also very professional, and couldn't do enough to make sure my every need was taken care of. I would recommend any of these ladies, they would not disappoint. Granniesnannies apparently hires only the best. The company itself needs a little revamping of organizational skills and better technology to track things. This is the reason I gave only 4 stars. The caretakers would get 5 stars. read more

I've been using Grannie Nannies for about a year. Went though several aides in the beginning. I don't feel like Management did much to send the right people. I also believe the people sent were not given much insight into me personally and my condition and the family. There was an issue with time sheets and aides getting paid in a timely manner. That was corrected. However I've been recently notified of a change and non acceptance of my LTC insurance assignment. Senior management has been rather cold to me as I've always been on the Aide's side rather than theirs. If you're luck enough to get a great aide, as I have, everything will probably be fine. Now 3 1/2 years later. Fortunately I still have my exceptional aide. But we never hear from the office unless they need something. They never call me to see how I feel or how thing are going. So in my view the administration is a zero. read more

It took me so long to make the decision to have someone come and help my mother, but I'm so glad I did! Granny Nannies has been wonderful in providing excellent care for her. Her caregiver, Tamara, is a gem!! She is in contact with me every week when she goes there, and my mother's spirits are definitely better! I was going it alone for many years and struggling to honor my mothers wishes to stay in her own home. Tried to set up transportation to/from a medical appointment. Wow, what completely incompetent service. I promptly filled out the application well in advance of the appointment. Kept being told I would be contacted by the person who would drive me to the appointment, but that never happened. Then, was told that since my appointment was for early in the morning, the driver should stay the night in my home??? WTF? The office manager was nice and helpful, but ultimately, this business completely botched my request. Luckily I found another medical transportation service that was very responsive and fairly-priced. I would never do business with Granny Nannies again after the incompetent service I was provided. read more

Granny Nannies is wonderful. Everyone there is professional and compassionate, especially the person who handles placing and scheduling the caregivers. If there was ever a small problem with one of my dad's assistants, she would immediately respond to our issue and either remedy it or replace the person with an even better choice.
