I stopped in at 10am when they had just opened I needed a new battery for my iPhone. They advised me I needed to make an appt for TOMORROW because they were booked today! I had other business in the vicinity that took approx an hr. - I took a photo of the parking in front of the store at 2 different times. NOT A CUSTOMER in the store - what a joke!!!! Last Saturday we went in Simply MAC to purchase a MacBook Pro. 2 couples sat at stools with a clerk for over 10 minutes and no one said a word or greeted us as we walked around the store. It was if I were in a twilight zone rerun because even an employee left a side door with not a word said to us. We exited never to return and bought a new Mac Book at the nearby Bst Buy for a better price with 3 years of Apple care all I less than 10 minutes. If I could give zero stars I would. I have purchased from other Simply MAC stores in other states but this one is clearly of need to learn how to attend to people. What is strange is that all the seated customers and clerk didn't even speak to each other the whole time we were in there!!!!! read more

This is by far the worst place to go to for any Apple product repair. I've never experienced any service as bad as what I experienced here. I understand this isn't an Apple store, but I would think that if they are going to promote the Apple brand they would expect them to represent it as such. On top of that two employees stood around and just let the phone rollover to voicemail instead of answering customer calls. Wow. I went in the Simply Mac store, which has a huge sign out front that labels them as an "Apple Specialist", and there are 5 employees working, one of them is helping the other solitary customer. Everyone else is too busy with whatever they're doing to even acknowledge me, so I wait for about 10 minutes, and finally someone looks up from their device and says "Can I help you?" I tell them I'm looking to get my iPhone repaired. I basically receive an eyeroll, and a "we don't work on iPhones" response. ??? Wow! That would have been nice to know that 10 minutes ago. They told me to try Best Buy. Very interesting "Apple Specialist" service they provide. read more

I'm a longtime Mac user. My family owns many Apple products. Our 8 year old Mac is showing its age, so my wife and I decided to buy locally instead of through Apple.com as we typically do. My wife had very specific questions about memory and speed; however, the salesman was more interested in trying to sell us a refurbished Mac and the Mac store warranty than telling us about the product. He even suggested we could settle for the Apple Care which is an amazing warranty for $100 less than the Mac store warranty. We purchased the Mac we wanted because we needed it immediately. I commented to my wife that we wouldn't have purchased an Apple product there if we were first time buyers. This is not an Apple Store. Please check out a real Apple Store if you never have- it's a much better experience! read more

Took an iPhone SE (under warranty) in for repairs. Store manager said they'd have to send it to Apple and that would take 5-7 business days. After 5 days the service guy e-mailed they would now send it to Apple if we approved and it would take another 5-7 business days. I picked up the iPhone from Simply Mac and called Apple Support. They are sending a replacement iPhone the same day. Simply Mac store manager has no justification for their taking 2 weeks for something going directly to Apple takes only 2 days (and doesn't seem to care) I suggest by-passing the less than competent Simply Mac store and deal directly with Apple Support. That must be the reason Apple Support is so highly regarded. read more

A simple battery replacement should not be so difficult. I started on the Apple website and found Simply Mac in Evansville, Indiana as an authorized service center to replace iPhone batteries. Issue 1: although an appointment for service may be booked online via Apple, Simply Mac is not actually integrated and therefore has no record of your appointment. The first appointment I booked online via Apple was scheduled on a day when we had extreme winter weather and businesses were closing. I tried calling to confirm Simply Mac was open and no one answered. I left a voicemail message. I ended up rescheduling on Apple to another day. No one from Simply Mac ever responded to the voicemail. We show up to the appointment and luckily we were not turned away. Issue 2: You must have an appointment and visit the store simply to order a replacement battery - I get that this is required. Issue 3: The technician must disable the Find My iPhone feature which must remain off while you wait for your battery to arrive. Meanwhile, having two phones required two battery orders. I receive a call on Friday evening, which I returned over the weekend. One battery had arrived, not both. I schedule an appointment for the following Friday (2/2). On Monday, I get another call and the person tells me the battery is in. Is this the second battery or the first? They aren't sure. They have no record of my appointment for 2/2 either. He checks. Yes, he thinks both batteries are in. Issue 4: They do not know what is going on! Friday a.m. 2/2. A voicemail is received intended for another customer. The tech is attempting to set expectations of what "will and will not happen" during the appointment at 4:30. Kind of rude. I call the store and let them know the intended party did not get the message, I did. Husband takes the two phones to the store. "Do you have an appointment" they ask. Yes. "Was it booked with us or Apple?". You. Issue 5: Poor customer skills. I get they do not like walk-ins but they should be courteous and have a list of appointments for the day. They take the two phones, tell my husband we had an appointment for one phone, not both and tell him it is going to take 1.5 hours to replace the two batteries. Issue 6: 1 and 1/2 hours to replace two batteries. Seriously??? read more

Went there to check what was wrong with my iPhone, I was told that It has to be shipped to Apple and I may be required to pay replacement fee. They claimed it was damaged due to minor/normal wear. They said this process takes up to 10 days. So I left and went to best buy. It turned out to be rest issue and it was done in 10 minutes. Best Buy people Know more and more proficient in technology issues. read more

This business is horrendous. I went to get my iPhone X screen fixed. After going in they told me I had to make an appointment to get the phone fixed, which is understandable; however, after I dropped my phone off to get fixed there was an hour wait, also understandable! Whenever I went back to pick my phone up, I sat there and waited 30 minutes for the service agent to come up to me and tell me that they were unable to get the screws out (by charging port) because THEY had stripped the screws. I had Apple Care on the device which means, it should have been a $30 repair to get the screen fixed. Then, since they couldn't get my phone repaired I was told that I would have to either mail it in to get repaired and be without a phone for 10 business days. I wasn't able to let that happen. Or, second option, was to pay $100 for a brand new phone. Why would I pay $100 instead of $30 because of something that YOUR company did?? No thanks. NEVER going back to Shitty Mac. read more

Don't waste your time. Drive to an actual Apple Store. I spent an hour for a repair as expected. Crystal brings my phone up with a paper stating the repair was successful. Apparently she didn't test it because the camera still did not work nor did the flash. The Apple Customer Service I spoke to the night before said if the repair didn't work, Simply Mac would replace my phone because it's under warranty. Simply Mac refuses and says they cannot call Apple because it is Sunday. The Apple Customer Service I'm talking to says they absolutely can and are available until 10pm and Simply Mac has a direct line to them. I spend an hour and a half jumping through hoops and get Apple to call Simply Mac to authorize the replacement at which point Crystal finally goes to answer the ringing phone to receive authorization. At that point she decides it's appropriate to inform me that they don't have the phone in stock to replace it with...after I've spent an hour and a half in the store working on getting authorization to replace, which she knew the whole time. read more

I don't understand why anyone would go elsewhere, it is close to home and the service and warranty can't be beat. The store is clean, wheelchair accessible, no high pressure sales, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. If you plan on purchasing an Apple product from any other store check the warranty they offer, that is the big difference as well as the support! read more

Go to a Apple Store. I bought a new Mac Mini. The Mini never worked correctly also the Bluetooth would disconnect the mouse and keyboard. These problems started as soon as I brought it home. I took it back and was reassured that they would get right on it and I would be satisfied. I was not satisfied at all because it took 8 weeks to get it back. During that time I left 17 messages for the service Dept with not one call back. I went it to discuss the matter and finally got it back 3 days later. So I come home and plug it in to see everything work correctly and the same thing. So I go back and talk to the store manager about this and he said I will take care of this and how sorry he is that I went through this. I left the Mini there with him. The next day he called and gave me an update, I finally felt releif. Then he call 4 days after that with an up date. Now it's been 3 weeks and I haven't heard a word. No returned calls to my messages. This has been a total of 5 weeks since I dropped it off the 2nd time. read more
