If I could leave a zero rating I would.I wish I had read reviews beforehand instead of taking suggestion from an employee at Verizon.I went in for them to replace my screen. Should have known when they never called me back to say it was ready I wasn't dealing with most professional place.They never told me they used what my IPhone calls non genuine parts not recognized by Apple. This results in touch issues,brightness ,etc problems. For 256 dollars if you can't fix it properly then they should let the customer know instead of developing a whole other bunch of issues for the individual. I've found some hard to find batteries here. I've even bought a battery for my mower here. For some reason other places didn't have the heavy duty type I needed. I also see they fix smartphones. I've always had good luck here, and keep coming back. read more

I made the regrettable mistake of giving Batteries Plus a second chance. I already had one issue with them, but they 'eventually' made it right and seemed sincere in their apology to me and wanted another chance to earn my business and value me as a customer. In November 2021, I returned to have them replace my broken phone screen. When done, the salesperson recommended I purchase a screen protector. She told me that the protector came with a warranty that would cover the replacement of my phone screen if the protector didn't prevent the breakage and just to bring it to the store. So, May 2022, my screen protector is broken. I return to the store. First, I'm told the warranty was only for the screen protector, not the phone. First strike. Then, I'm told I needed to register the warranty. Well I was given no paperwork to do that. Second strike. This is followed by, our records indicate that the style purchased does not offer the warranty (the product was selected by the salesperson). Third strike. I asked the manager, Jeff Rohr, how he would work with me because of all the misinformation given to me just to make a sale. He told me he wasn't part of the conversation and wasn't going to do anything. Strike four. Funny thing, this was the same word salad I received from him with my first problem. He only followed up for resolution when I complained online. Strike five. I asked if he is okay with deceptive sales tactics to close the deal. He just stood there. Strike six. the most useless pieces of s*** on the planet. they thought i was the dumbest mf that ever walked in to that gd shop... i know very much about phones and electronics, yet, somehow, they think that i don't know what i'm talking about when i presented the problem in a comprehensive, yet assertive, way. these b*****s broke my phone screen last time i brought it in, which was very recently, and when i came back to show them what they did, they claimed it was my fault. i never touched my phone, nor would i completely strip the screw? there was no way to get it out, which is why they probably blamed it on me. they patronized me and talked to me like i was stupid. if you want good service, DONT GO HERE. i now have to get a new phone because mine is ruined. i would give them zero stars if i could. read more

I bought a very expensive Odyssey motorcycle battery form Battery Plus several years ago. I only drove the motorcycle several times a year and I had the battery on a trickle charger that I also had also bought from Battery Plus. After three years the battery did not work. The manager of Battery Plus said I had overcharged the battery and refused to honor the warranty. I asked him to at least give a a $10 discount on a new $160 battery. He refused and I told him that was the last time he would see me in his shop. It actually worked out better for me because I found the same battery else where for $50 less. I would recommend anyone look else where for batteries. There are too many other more reputable placesand less expensive places that sell batteries. read more

BEWARE!! DO NOT BUY ( GEL CELLED BATTERIES) from Batteries Plus or anyone else unless you know that you have charger that will charge Gel Cells. Gel Celled batteries need a special charger. Ask for flooded or AGM battery types instead. They will charge with any old charger. Batteries Plus sold me a Gel Cell battery without telling me I needed a specific charger. Battery never seemed to work right and now I know why. I had an older charger that will not work with Gel Celled batteries. Took battery back to store and they refused to trade for an AGM equivalent battery. There are 100 Flooded or AGM batteries sold , to just 1 of the Gel Cells. I now know why, no one wants to have to buy a new charger along with their new battery. Batteries Plus IMHO are ripping people off by not disclosing the special charging needs of the Gel Celled Battery . Now I know why they are not BBB Accredited. read more

Recently took my watch in for a new battery, the first time it has ever been replaced. The owner waited on me and was his usual abrupt and rude self. He was unable/incapable of replacing the back of the watch. He handed me the watch back and told me that since he couldn't, he would not charge me the $5 installation. Big Man. So I took it to Brinker's. Brinker's told me that not only was the waterproofing ring now missing so that I can no longer use it while kayaking/sports, the back of the watch was so bent out of shape that they could barely get it back on. They replaced the battery because there were fingerprints all over it that could be corrosive and apologized that they could not repair or guarantee the work bcause of what BP did. Then they did not charge me a cent! I will never go to Batteries Plus for anything, ever. BP ruined my watch. read more

I like this place and have been there many times for batteries for all sorts of things. I recently visited and ordered an LED lightbulb, cause the product I wanted was not in stock and the clerk on duty encouraged me to place an order. The bulb due date came and went, nothing happened. I stopped in to check on my order a few weeks after it was due and the manager guy said it wasn't in (blamed the supplier) and acted like I shouldn't be asking. Waited past another week and stopped by again. Confusion on the part of staff who checked the computer, checked the shelves, checked with other staff, who checked the computer and the shelves....everyone checked with the owner/manager in the back Room. No bulb. The status of the bulb on order appeared to all staff appeared to be a mystery....maybe that was the one that was broken on arrival or not. The certain thing was staff didn't much care. This place has lots of batteries and bulbs. But, if it's not on the shelf, don't order stuff from them cause it's a pain for them and they aren't much interested in following through. read more
