We had been engaged since the end of 2020, but because of covid and our financial situation we had to put our wedding on the back burner. Just wanted to write a quick review here that Jules is super kind and personable via Yelp 'request a quote's/messaging function! I sent her and a few florists in the area a request for quote, asking about a bouquet and delivery. Right away she responded! My friend just gave birth in the OC area and I'm in LA. Wow where do we start! Two years ago my wife and I were in search of a wedding venue. After meeting at multiple places, we visited Temecula Creek Cottages. Not only is the location beautiful nestled up against the mountain but even more important was how Julie treated us. We just had our wedding ceremony 7-15-23 and it was everything we wished for. As a girl who never really thought much about being a bride until I was one, I was probably the opposite of a bridezilla. Rather than wanting things done an exact way, I really just wanted to let creative minds run wild with my thematic vibes. She provided not only the planning, managing, and flawlessly executing the wedding event but also was our florist for the nuptial and the party afterwards. We met her early, almost 7 months ahead of the wedding date, to discuss the preparations and most importantly, our budget. During those long months, Jules was always ever ready and available for any questions or concerns or changes that kept coming up unexpectedly from us. Wow! Where to begin when describing Simply Regal + Fallbrook wedding coordinator and florist Julie Edwards!!! My company has been lucky enough to work with Julie at 3 different weddings in the last 2 years. Her coordination services are truly world-class....typically coordinators roll up in slouchy "comfortable" (vs. dressy or professional) clothes, have maybe emailed me the schedule 3 days before the wedding without asking for my feedback (as the DJ or officiant). Julie actually sends out the agenda weeks in advance AND calls (yes, that phone thing people are on all day...) She uses it to build rapport with vendors and ensure the expertise of each individual vendor is utilized to ensure the optimal wedding day experience (rather than not wanting to hear the expertise of the other vendors--this is what crummy coordinators do because they think they know everything and feel threatened). Julie is both flexible when appropriate and firm when needed. She doesn't play games or get into drama. When she needs to lay down the law, she somehow does it with diplomacy (I once saw her yell at a shuttle van that was an hour late....and I was thoroughly impressed!) Julie puts her brides/grooms FIRST, treats the wedding team like a TEAM, and is just over-all delightful to be around. She is organized, professional, experienced, a true expert in what she does, reliable, has a great eye, and extremely talented. She is her worth every penny of what she charges--and then some! Finally, as a florist, Julie does an amazing job of bringing to life her clients' visions. I have seen brides react to seeing her floral designs for the first time on their wedding days and they are so happy they darn near cry! I have seen the ceremony area at The Prado dressed up a number of ways, so I was eager to see what Julie had in store for the space at our most recent event together...and it was spectacular. It was the best I've ever seen that wishing well they have down there look--she transformed it from gray concrete chunk to whimsical fairy tale. First things first...Julie is absolutely amazing and we LOVE her!!!! She is the most kind, helpful, caring, creative person and at the same time she gets everything done no matter how much time she has. Let me explain. I had first contacted Julie about 6 months prior to our wedding. I loved her and definitely wanted to have her as our coordinator. As time went on, I was so distracted with the rest of our planning that I never followed up with her to be our day of coordinator. Fast forward to about 2 months prior to our wedding...I realized I had still not pinned down our coordinator. What was I thinking!? As embarrassed as I was, I contacted Julie to see if she was still free on October 4th...and thank goodness she was! She was so accommodating the entire time. Our first "meeting" was through Skype as she was in England taking care of some business. Can you believe it?? She was willing to help us out and get all of our ideas and vision for our special day 2 months prior and while she was in England! She's a miracle worker. We were in contact mainly through email and she was always so responsive. There was never a time she didn't answer my questions (which led me to believe she never slept;)!). We also discussed having her do my bouquet and let me tell you I could not have imagined a more beautiful one! I'll post a picture, but it was so colorful, the flowers were exactly what I wanted and the shape was so unique I loved it and everyone still comments on it! When Julie returned from England, we discussed her helping out with florals as well (in addition to my bouquet). She gave us all the options we could ask for and explained all of it in detail so we never felt like we didn't understand. Since it was so close to the wedding I was getting pretty overwhelmed with decision making and poor Julie was so kind and really patient. Let's just say that the florals were so beautiful and more than we could have asked for! Our main goal was for it to be very colorful and that's exactly what she did :) Julie also dressed the arch at our venue (Quail Haven Farm) with beautiful hanging flowers. I felt like I was in a fairytale! So beautiful I wish I could go back in time and be there again! Julie was able to turn our vision into a reality. We explained that we were going to be intertwining my Persian side throughout the day and Julie really took the time to understand our culture. Not only were we happy but my father was so happy with how smooth and beautiful the day went thanks to Julie. Lindy from Quail Haven Farm (our amazing and beautiful venue) recommended Julie and we saw first hand the magic she brought to our beautiful venue. It you want generic wedding flowers, there are plenty of flower vendors (florists) to choose from but if you want floral design for your wedding (bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, wedding arch), hire Julie. Julie can convert your vision into reality. I am writing as the mother of the bride. The Bride wanted beach/tropical/bohemian theme and the groom wanted beer/brewery (since he owns a brewery) theme. Julie was able to realize both visions into an elegant design. The final produce consisted of sea shells, starfish, hops, orchids, plumerias, and other multi-textured flowers. No matter what your vision, Julie will meet with you, listen to your ideas, collaborate with you and create the wedding of your dreams. My husband and I met Julie while visiting our wedding location. We immediately hit it off and right off the bat, Julie started tk throw ideas at us. A few weeks later, we hired her to be our wedding coordinator and our florist. Julie is extremely creative, patient, cool as a cucumber under pressure and nothing seems to phase her much. She is always available via phone or email and respond to any messages very quickly. I appreciated her honesty, her initiatives and her attention to details. My wedding was relatively small but that did not mean that she shoved me the side. I felt just as important as if I had a huge wedding. She has a great sense of humor and I felt so at ease to have her next to me not only before the wedding but also on my wedding day. When the day was close, she handled, confirmed and talked to all my vendored (who by the way only had great things to say about her). I could not have pulled off my wedding vision without Julie!!! That's the bottom line of it. I consider myself a very detail-oriented Bride that planned most of the wedding myself - but the flowers were very difficult for me because I had so many ideas of what they could have looked like and I had no specific ideas of exactly what flowers I wanted, ect.
