I thought I was coming in for a consultation, and I liked the fabrics and patterns we came up with, but he was disappointed that I was not ready to throw down $4,000 for the custom suit that day. (He convinced me that anything cheaper in his shop wasn't worth my time.) I can see why he likes to close the deal the day of. The more I thought about it, the less comfortable I felt throwing down than much for this suit... I had a few other reasons, too. Anyway, I sent a message to the store the next day, politely explaining why that I appreciated Jerry's time, but the shop wasn't for me. Jerry ended up calling me, and I wish I hadn't answered. He started trying to get me to get his cheaper stuff that had already talked me out of. He was pushy, dismissive of my reasons and all around unpleasant. I think they have some off the-rack suits available, too, and I believe they offer tailoring, but I am no longer interested. He'll probably respond to this and be dismissive again, but those are my two cents. He has a nice assistant. I won't pretend it's bad quality. Still three stars.

Beautiful, cashmere materials, clever, designs, and lots of color are included in this boutique of fashion sense Stemming originally from being a major source to Hollywood film stars and still currently embracing Hollywood with the recent filming of everyone's favorite comedy, Shrinking, storing Harrison Ford and Jason Siegel. Mr. Ford was recently spotted filming an episode of season three here! He even went home with a couple of bowties in a suit. Rented a suit for a friend's wedding but…read morelittle did I know that I wasn't supposed to iron the shirt as it was supposedly all polyester (cheap material). Unfortunately the tag on the shirt was worn off and none of the associates warned me about not ironing. When I returned the suit to the store, instead of listening to my experience the store associate argued with me and I was forced to pay a fee. Avoid at all cost, and if you do rent from here know that the shirts are all polyester and non ironable.

I brought the jacket in for a smaller size. The store removed the tags because I asked them to open the pockets. On the day of the funeral when I tried to button the jacket and realized the button was on the lapel in a way that didn't allow for the lapel to lay flat. The day after I needed the suit I brought it back to return it. It hadn't been worn, but without the tags they won't accept it. THEY REMOVED THE TAGS. The suit was unusable and sold as separates. Take the unworn jacket back (at least) and offer an apology. The tags are in your possession!

Everything is donated and appears to be fast fashion-think SHEIN and lots of polyester, everything goes to charity so there's that I suppose. The workers are entirely volunteer based which makes for a poor system, resulting in the service being almost too attentive with the staff immediately asking what you're looking for and approaching you the minute you pull something off to get a closer look. For example I had to remove some dresses to even be able to look at the dresses but one of the volunteers asks if I wanted her to hold them but then stood there waiting for me to be done which felt uncomfortable to say the least. Because everyone's a volunteer they're bored and try to be "too helpful" in that you can't look in peace and feel constantly watched. In addition the racks were packed way too tight, making it almost impossible to look at the clothes individually. Hard pass for me thank you.

I absolutely loved having my alterations done at Tita's Atelier. They give pricing that feels fair…read morefor what you want done and they're very efficient. My skirt was hemmed and my train was altered with 3 bustles in around a month, but I think they can do work quicker if you're really in a pinch. They also altered my Filipino bolero to perfectly fit my body and added more buttons to the back for security that matched my dress. This alteration which included bringing the shoulders up and adding buttoning to the back. Their work is beautiful and careful. I will say that Tita is the tailor who is the most fluent in English and the seamstresses in the back are more comfortable in spanish, but they really know exactly what they're doing. You can always ask to confirm with Titat the alterations being done.

They also stained the white pants, probably from a dirty work surface. Never going back. Beware. Pants ruined! They were brand new and never worn before.
