WORST TANNING EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD. I have been spray tanning for years, and have never once had a complaint about any company I have used. I went to Simply Sunless as a referral from someone I trusted. Based on the technique of the woman applying the tan, it was evident that she had little to no experience. I had streaks running down my arm, and she used a dryer to literally blow the streaks in. I looked like a zebra within 2 hours. The worst and most disappointing part of my experience, is that I emailed the manager/owner and sent a video. I received no response from this manager/owner in 10 days now. DO NOT GO TO SIMPLY SUNLESS IN KELLER IF YOU WANT A DECENT SPRAY TAN. read more

I had an appointment and was in and out really quick for my first airbrush tan ever in my entire life (yes, this is true, and I have lived in Los Angeles, San Diego AND Scottsdale... and wait until I move to the center of the country to get my spray on? I'm a little behind.) Actually, it was a really easy process and the tan lasted for about 10 days and looked really natural - because I went easy on it, followed the rules, and didn't go back for multiple layered sprays. The only confusing part was in getting there. I am new to the area and not accustomed to the Texas way of having one building housing multiple "suites" of cosmetologists working independently rather than at one studio renting chairs, so I drove up and down Davis looking for a sign reading "Simply Sunless" and didn't see one. This business is located in a large new-looking stone and brick building labeled "Salons of Volterra." When you enter the front door there is a small waiting area and the tanning rep stands at a podium, right there in the front. She does the spraying in a small room down the hall. This makes absolute perfect economic sense to me from a businsess standpoint, but from the customer standpoint as a first-timer, I was a little lost as I didn't know where to go nor who to talk to. After hearing how great Simply Sunless was and reading some past reviews, I thought I would give this place a try... right before my wedding mind you. I went in before my bridals to do a trial run and one of the staff members (Brittany) was more than helpful. I explained to her what I was needing the tan for and we discussed coloring options and how long the tan would last. She instantly made me feel comfortable as this was my first time doing a spray tan this way. She was quick to answer any questions I had and explained everything so well. I went in that following week since my big day was coming up and I wanted a lighter coat to assure my skin was great for the wedding. I am still so pleased about how my tan turned out. Discounts offered for teachers (with ID) and students. Sounds great! However, if you are a cheerleader you get a special discount. When asked if the same discount is offered for drill team members, the answer was, "that would be a student". Upon further questioning the explanation given was, "we have a very large cheer clientele in Southlake. We try our best for everyone." This statement is clearly not true since everyone would include volleyball, soccer, drill, etc. A student is a student regardless of their affiliation with sports, dance, theater, cheer, etc. I would rather pay more for fair treatment. read more

I signed up for a three month membership hoping for the best. I asked several times about the possibility of turning orange and they assured me no one has turned orange...but I did. It was awful. I went back the day after I was sprayed and the young lady working there (different than the woman who sprayed me) was so embarrassed. I tried a few more times... one of the ladies did a decent job. Everyone else turned me orange. I stopped going altogether and just lost my money. read more

I got a Free Tan here when they first opened as part of their "training" for their new airbrush artists and was worried that it was too good too be true but I was wrong! I absolutely love my tan! My boyfriend noticed right away that I had a nice glow that looked natural and wasn't orange. When I was done with my tan I got to shop in the little boutique in the Salon called OPAJ and they had the cutest jewelry! Cheap too! I'll definitely be going back! read more
