I am always able to reach him through email if I have any questions or concerns. Deidre, the nurse practitioner is also wonderful! She is both a health care provider and a medi-spa provider. I have seen her in both capacities - she is excellent in each. I highly recommend Dr. McDonald's practice!

I appreciated a…read moremonitored weight loss program with weekly weigh ins and the detail their print out provides (eg especially the visceral fat, which is the fat around your organs). My visceral reduced from 13 to 10 and 10 is in a healthy range. After 8 weeks at $250 a week per person, everyone pays the same regardless of your body and your results and they set a goal for you based on your age and height (rather than you setting a goal for yourself, so their model makes it extremely hard to reach their goals for you; they create an "incentive" for lifetime weigh ins and consultation which I think is a false carrot to try to get you to continue to purchase more weeks). Their model includes food packets, which I would prefer to learn to lose weight on real food, and they don't want to tell you how to eat real food until you "graduate"/meet their goals for you. My husband and I did it together. Apparently men lose weight faster than women over 40 , which their model doesn't account for (and they don't tell you) - they calculated my husband and I would lose weight at 4lbs/week and I was more like 1-2lbs/week. I AM pleased with the fact that I lost 10lbs of fat (that was my personal goal) and 15 lbs overall but their model set a goal for me of 28lbs of weight loss, which over 8 weeks was unrealistic and of course at the end of eight weeks they wanted me to purchase an additional six weeks (which I didn't do). I am working with a trainer on a new workout plan to increase my muscle mass for fat burn and cardio intervals (I didn't work out at all over eight weeks which I normally do and they said wouldn't matter for their program) and will continue to eat high protein and vegetables and low carb every 2-4 hours (with 12 hours fasting between 8pm-8am) for the next six weeks and see what my continued results are. It was extremely hard mental work (especially the first two weeks) to get to where I am, so continuing the self discipline and new habits that I have established is an important lifestyle change for me that I do feel prepared for after the first eight weeks, I just don't feel I need EMP180 anymore to do it and was a bit disappointed in their approach and the extremely high cost.

At 9:10 AM, a staff member finally arrived through a side door, turned on the lights, and let me in. It wasn't the doctor, just a tech or nurse. I was asked for my ID, handed a clipboard with a stack of paperwork, and told to fill it out. After completing the first set, I was handed yet another clipboard with even more forms--despite already being 30 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I refused to continue. These documents could have easily been sent in advance. To make matters worse, the doctor never showed up. I was misled via text, delayed without explanation, and ultimately wasted my time. I asked them to destroy my records and left. This appointment cost me valuable work time, and the lack of professionalism from both the doctor and staff was unacceptable. I do not recommend this facility to anyone who values punctuality, transparency, or basic respect for their time.

You pull up and you're supposed to call a number but because so many people were there for tests, the medical professionals just came to your car. They were working nonstop, so this is not a complaint, but I waited about 20 minutes to be "seen". Julianna got my information, and came back out with the test. I swapped my nose myself. She said it would be three hours and not 30 minutes until I got emailed my results. I docked a star from my review because I am fine waiting three hours for results, and I completely understand they're swamped during the holidays, but a note on the website that the time would be longer would've been preferable. I will absolutely be coming back and special shout out to Julianna and the other gentleman who were both running around supporting all of their appointments.
