After about 20-30 min of browsing the living room furniture Eric Mastern asked if he could help us. He immediately showed us where the smaller sectionals are. We found two and then were back and forth on which one. We finally decided. He was patient, knowledgeable and professional. Made me give 5 stars because of him on my review. If he had not found us, my rating would have been 2. The store is very nice and good prices with sales. He also informed us of renting a pick up truck right there so we could bring it home ourselves. The store itself has an odd and musty smell. My partner and I also saw a lot of stains on the carpet, and it overall left a very unclean impression of the store. Not only that, I have discovered 3 bug bites in a row on my arm, which may indicate they have bed bugs living in their show furniture. I'm hoping it's not bed bugs and that they did not hitch a ride home with me :( We were helped immediately as soon as we walked in because we were the only customers there on a weekend. What a huge contrast to how busy it was at the furniture store we stopped by before this one! We were told some helpful things, but after we were promised to be left alone to look around, we were approached a few more times again. It felt rather awkward. Overall, it's really hard for me to recommend Mega Furniture to anyone unless you have a very specific style you're looking for because they do have some furniture pieces that are not what's currently trending. We ordered a swivel rocking chair for our nursery when I was six months pregnant. I am currently sitting here 2 weeks away from giving birth and we have YET to receive this chair! We have been patient. We have stopped by the store multiple times to check on shipment times, we have made several calls. We have always been pleasant and understanding. But the fact that we have had to go out of our way multiple times to check on the status of things rather than being contacted with updates is incredibly frustrating. Each time we have called we have been given the runaround or told some bs estimated time. I called yesterday again after having been told previously that "the manager is the one who deals with these things, he'll be in later in the week." As I was giving our ordering info over the phone, the worker rudely interrupted me stating she knew who I was and that the chair was not to be expected for another month when 2 weeks previously we were told it would only be a week. I finally lost my cool and demanded a refund then and there, we had had enough. The worker let us know she would have the manager give us a call personally to go over details. We received no such call. Today, we had to go out of our way AGAIN to drive to the location and figure out wtf was going on. The man at the front (I'm assuming this so called manager we were waiting on) actually asked us "you haven't gotten your chair yet?" when we explained why we were there, as if he was just hearing this for the first time. He took us to customer service where the worker already had the paperwork ready for our refund. Big lack of communication there. There was no apology, no offering to make things right (switch out for a different chair, free delivery, ANYTHING.) They mentioned that we must be in a rush to find something else, nodding to my belly. They ran our card that they were so eager to take two months before and let us know it may be 5-7 business days, maybe more, to see the refund reflected on our credit card. So now we are here playing the waiting game AGAIN and $400 short until we get the refund and can venture out to find a furniture store who will respect our time and hard earned money. I am absolutely devastated that our nursery will not be complete for our son's arrival and he will have nothing to soothe him until we can find another chair. We did our part and ordered ahead of time, they severely lacked the compassion to respect that and keep in contact. Don't waste your time here, go somewhere else.

I see the wonderful Halloween things right away upon walking in and I was like a kid in a candy store. For me Halloween is my favorite holiday so my eyes light up like I am a kid again. Going down the aisles I could see that they were still stocking things and there would be more to come, but there was enough to keep me interested and scouring the aisles for what I wanted this shopping trip. The aisles were clean and clear, and the employees were nice whether they were in the store on the floor or at the cash register, which made the experience very pleasant. It's always so tempting with all of the ghouls and goblins and skeletons and pumpkins galore. Today I left with some cobwebs for my fireplace mantle for only $2.99 wow! What a deal!! It will look absolutely perfect.

We ended up leaving with a mantle decoration, but they already had everything from the giant skeletons and yard decorations to a few inflatables and plenty of indoor décor. The store was clean, easy to walk through, and the cashier was nice and friendly, which made for a pleasant checkout. Their prices are kind of a mixed bag. About half the time you find something and think, "That's a really good price," and the other half you're thinking it's a little more expensive than you expected. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is because it seems like a lot of their larger decorations end up with some kind of damage. If you're buying one of the bigger items, it's worth taking a few minutes to dig through the stock and find the one in the best condition. Other than that, it's a fun place to browse, especially if you're ready to start decorating for Halloween way too early like we are.
