This is the best spot in Vegas to get your gear! Glenn is a solid guy and his team is very helpful. They'll take trade in on new stuff which is pretty awesome. Always take friends there when they need stuff. Hope we never lose these guys. My family used to have the Bootlegger on that old corner back in the day, so it's nice to see it still doing well. This is absolutely my new favorite shop!! I had the pleasure of meeting Jonathan who sold me my new Stale Crewzer. This guy was a wealth of knowledge on all thing's snowboards. He took the time to walk me through all the choices, and we settled on the Stale. I came back the next week and this super helpful girl, whose name I can't remember :( was so friendly and patient with me while helping me get my binding set up and dialed in. Amazing place!!!! Besides me spending about $2500 for a new board, bindings. Boots. Goggles, and a helmet lol but that's part of it and was way worth it. Joseph one of the sales guys is really cool. Super knowledgeable and helped me with every step of the way. Owner is a really cool dude. I actually forgot my boots at the shop and he met up with me the next day to give me the boots so I didn't have to drive all the way over there. Really appreciate the team here at Sin City, from the get go they are inviting and patient when it comes to snowboard boots specifically. They took the time to walk me through fitment and brands that better suit those with wide feet lol. Trade in process is great, was able to trade in used boots that weren't my size and put the money towards a new boot. We unfortunately went home with a boot that felt nearly suffocating but luckily I was advised to wear them around the house first to double check fit. I wear bring them on the snow just yet and they helped me with no hassle size up with a same style boot with an exchange. Decided to come in to Sin City Snowboards for my first snowboard after my girlfriend got hers here last season. Selection was great and service was awesome as a beginner snowboarder and a first time buyer I didn't know what I was looking for but the associates made this process super smooth. Came in with a price in mind and was given a good amount of options to stick within my budget but ended up going over for personal preferences. We did have a little mishap with one of the items and didn't catch on until we got home but the owner took it upon himself even after store hours and helped with getting it corrected! Today I went in and was looking for some new boots, and Angelica was super helpful. She was teaching me stuff I didn't know about boots and did not try and upsell me or anything. I bought boots from Sin City Snowboards and had a waxing and tuneup job on my board. Overall, I had a great experience and the employees were helpful. There are a couple of things that I am a bit unhappy with, though I don't blame the store for what happened but I do wish that the service had been a bit different. Firstly, when I bought my boots I was not offered the option to heat the shoes for the heat mold and I hadn't known what it was until I'd gone home and opened the box. I would emphasize to the employees that I was just starting out and with the wonderful reviews that this shop has, that I still feel are well deserved, I assumed that they would essentially tell me anything that I needed to know. I also did ask if there was another process after buying the boots, but they had told me there was nothing else that needed to be done. I don't blame the store for this as it likely is up to me to specifically ask for this service and the store was closing around the time that I had bought the shoes. The thing that I'm a bit more unsatisfied with is that I had a pre-owned board that I was looking to have waxed and tuned up. When I asked to adjust the bindings, the employees seem to have noticed that the bindings were in extremely poor quality but hadn't mentioned anything to me. They asked me if I had gotten the board at the store when looking at the bindings and seemed a bit frustrated working with it, as it seemed the bindings hadn't met their standards. My first day riding with my newly tuned board and new boots, the bindings ended up staining my boots and tore apart in the middle of a ride. Originally, I was debating on returning the shoes for an exchange/credit but due to the stains I believe I am now unable to do so. Again, this was not the stores fault at all and I had not bought the bindings from the store and I want to emphasize that my experience at this store was wonderful. However, I will deduct a star as I really would have liked as a beginner, which I had emphasized numerous times, if I had gotten a bit of a heads up from what seemed obvious to the more experienced employees though I know they aren't necessarily obligated to. Overall, still a wonderful experience with the shop and I would recommend it! Edit: the owner ended up messaging for me to go into the shop. I brought the shoes and my setup and he assured me that my shoes are okay and that it's very normal for the gear to get like that once they're worn. All of the damage that was done was cosmetic, so that was a nice reassurance and he also offered me a free waxing job which was really nice! I will leave it at 4/5 simply because it would've been nice to receive the heads up about the bindings as a beginner (which the owner assured me he would've done if he did the job himself), but overall I do highly recommend this shop! The owner is doing a great job and I've really enjoyed the wonderful service he's provided thus far. read more

Came in this week looking to buy a new snowboard for my husband, and right off the bat they were not as welcoming as they were reading all these other reviews. They looked at me as if I was crazy. They did not say anything when I walked in, or even asked if I needed help. All I got was awkward stares. And the workers in the back near the skateboards were making some kind of Asian Guy jokes that were not even funny. As an Asian myself it was kind of offending considering that they were white men. They could have kept the conversation to themselves instead of yelling across the room. Very unprofessional. When I walked around, everything I feel like was overpriced. This shop rules. What I like most about it is, it doesn't have a corporation feel. I was looking for a place to help me build a 1980s re-pop deck that I had laying around...it needed special parts, wheels, grip, etc. Todd was amazing. He lives the skate scene (1980-present) and is extremely knowledgeable. He knew exactly what I was looking for. No other skate shop in town can touch this knowledge. Found this place on Yelp & decided to check it out due to all their positive reviews. It was a bit hard to find as it's tucked away in the corner of the shopping center. Plenty of parking tho. Upon entering, it was very overwhelming. Lots of things in a small place & we must have came during peak hours because it was super busy. As soon as we entered, we were greeted , and helped right away. I wish I got the woman's name who helped us. She was very patient as we are true beginners & know nothing about where to start for snowboarding gear. She helped us every step of the way. We walked out with new boards ( pre - owned ), boots, and bindings. Very happy with our purchases. The only thing was the used clothing was overpriced in my opinion. For how much they were charging, you might as well order brand new online. Overall, I'm glad we went there first to get our gear. :-) read more
