This is one of the cheaper gas stations in my area. I wish it was cleaner. I also wish they had trash cans And squeegees next to the pumps. The store has all the basics. But my favorite is that they have slush puppies. The attendant's always nice. read more

I'm at the Sinclair Dino care gas station on Sherman Way in Canoga I had half a tank so I thought I would stop in and fill up because it's $4.99 a gallon I seem to always have trouble at this location. I typically find myself at pump number six. The pumps at this place are absolutely filthy. Sadly the automatic tap for the credit card is not working, and I had to insert the card and then select from their finger pushing keypad, which the buttons are so decrepit that the plastic is peeling apart. Within seconds, I had a blister on the right side of my upper lip! I felt it immediately pop out. Some sick person who had germs was clearly using this and the germs lingered either that or just disgustingly filthy !!! This location is a hazard for human health. It's frequently tagged and their equipment is not in order. I can never get a receipt when I choose to put my gas in here, I am forced to go to the inside to retrieve my receipt and I wonder if that's a marketing ploy to get you to buy something? I also had a negative condescending experience in the past with the car wash attendant, who was beyond belief, rude, and disrespectful and degrading! I don't know if he still works here, but I will never get my car washed at this location for that reason. I have tons of allergies, so I am very careful about my contact with dirt, grime, dust, you name it. My recommendation is if you use this gas station wear gloves when you have to push buttons at the pump.!!!!! Their equipment should be clean and in working order there is no excuse! read more

I made the mistake of buying their "buy three, get the fourth car wash free" for $12 each. That is supposed to leave their best car wash. I have been trying to use them up for literally five months, I still have two left. The problem is that this dump of a car wash never, ever works!! One drying spinner hasn't worked - ever. The guy keeps saying it's going to be fixed next time. Last time,no drying at all. The vacuums are never hooked up. And today I found out they close at 3:30 p. I got there a little at 3:34p. You can get a far better wash at the new speed Wash on Topanga and Roscoe for $5. Or, Luv's $11 one (on Topanga near In n' Out) is significantly better than this one. read more

I stopped at Sinclair gas station at 10:30 pm Sunday night with my mom to fill up gas. My credit card wouldn't go through so I went inside to just encounter with a very RUDE person called ROSHAN. No customer service, no attendance and ignoring us. I called him up finding him in the isle doing really nothing and explaining that my card is not working outside and would like to pay here. First he just continued touching some bags then asking me what do I need to pay for! I replied gas! He started looking me too to bottom saying " you are rude on me!!!" Asking again " what do you want, I am the owner!!!" He repeated 4 times that he is the owner with a very nasty manner and I asked my mom to leave. If he is the owner, he doesn't deserve to manage the store and needs to stay away from people, and if he is not the owner, then he should look for cleaning street jobs and not to meet up with people or any sale position. I would never ever go there since there are many other individual owners whom are kind and respectful and deserve making money. read more

DO NOT COME HERE!!! Huge scam! I used to go here a lot, the pumps are always broken and it's always dirty. Today I went there to fill up my car (as one does) and the gas just wasn't going in my car. Now at first I thought I was just dumb you know so I asked if the pump was broken or if it just didn't fit in my car right and the same thing happened when I asked for help. I had given the cashier $100 for gas. Now since the pump was broken I asked if I could move to a different pump. He told me no. So then I asked for my change. He said no. He kept all $100 of mine! I am now out $100 as a broke college student. He also refused to give me a corporate number so here's a review. Below is a photo of the cashier who "helped" me. I go here for the convenient drive through car wash. It's reasonably priced and offers free use of the vacuum. The car wash attendant was friendly and personable. I asked what were the hours of the car wash and he said 8:15am to 5:30pm. The convenience store has a large selection of snacks. I have not gotten gas here in a long time, but I don't recall ever having any problems in the past. After reading some of the negative reviews I decided to double check my credit card for what I was charged for the car wash. I was charged correctly. read more

Hi I have had my cars repaired for years at this gas station. When the old owner Mike passed away his associate Chris took over. Today I was preparing for a long trip next week and wanted to make sure everything for my Lexus LS 430 was in working order. One of those items was to get the Timing Chain & Water Pump replaced about a $1,500 job. I called Chris to ask to buy the parts and schedule a time for me to bring my car in. Without missing a blink, Chris replied "Paul, I think we did that last year" I went to the office and checked my records, lo and behold there it was replaced in March 2023. I called Chris and thanked him. He sees hundreds of cars yet he knew he already replaced it. That is AWESOME Service!!! THANK YOU CHRIS!!! read more

I would much more recommend Shell across the street. It's one issue not to let consumers who are not customers use the restroom--but when a customer gives you $80 in gas business and the owner tells me he doesn't have a restroom and doesn't know any other place nearby at all to use the restroom (let's try Shell across the street your competitor, or Starbucks up the street...) anything. I don't like supporting businesses like these that deny basic necessities when we give to them. Businesses are supposed to give back to the community in some way and this one is a Mr. Scrooge one all the way. Don't let the cute Dinosaur Sinclair logo fool you. It's a trap! The business has now changed to SINCLAIR OIL and the service along with atmosphere has much improved. Similar to how it was with Chevron before shxtty UNION OIL took over. I came in today because the gas station I normally use for a car wash (Mobil, De Soto and Vanowen 91303) was closed for some reason. Fortunate for me. Mobil, even with the most expensive car wash at $10 ("the WORKS") always left my car with crud still remaining and a lot of water spots. The wash I received today from Sinclair, the mid-range one at $9 left my car gleaming and spotless. Sometimes a bad turns into a good. read more

The gas station is a dump, all the machines are old, you can't use credit card on pump, you have to go inside, they have no trash cans, the cars wash doesn't work well, the car is left with soap, and if you want to vacuum your car good luck all the hoses are taped up. The place is no good, the owner should spend a little and give the place a little uplift. read more

I went put $60 worth gas 87 just under $6per gallon in my 2014 Toyota Camry it's a 4cyl with 50k Miles gets 30 plus MPG And I got just blow a half tank I believe it was 10 Gallons it said on pump screen Went to Chumash casino in Santa Barbara. Is 89 miles. I end up putting gas at chevron gas because light came onso I put $30 it was just little over $6 AGL. Around 5 gI on the screen I got the same amount for $30 just blow the half. I was in shock thinking my needle was less at first station. Still was $30 more should have gave me almost double the gas. And it was under $6 agl. So payed more at chevrow per gallon less in gallons and just blow a half. Came back home and had over a 1/4 tank for 89 miles. I found that very strange. Thinking maybe it was up hill. Wind in the front. Until I put gas at chevrow again $5.99 needle was at the same light was on $30 bucks. Well sure enough it was below a half. Not only that this gas station. Getting you for double per gallon but also your getting less per mile. How is it possible. You mite ask well its a computer it can be rigged/ hacked and or fixed. Try for your self put gas here then chevron. They tried to make me pay twice for the car wash. When I paid for gas at the pump, I paid for a car wash. On the screen at the pump, it said to get the receipt inside. The cashier tried to make me pay again even though the price for both the gas and the car wash was charged to me at the pump. This gas station advertised $3.59 per gallon, u are getting the gas at around $4.25. The cashier is a Middle Eastern guy that when u ask the true price of their gas, he would just be defensive and would just take picture of u and your licence plate. DO NOT GO HERE, THEY ARE CHEATERS. This gas station has a carwash. Horrible carwash and Horrible customer service. My car came out completely wet and the sides were more dirty than when I took it in. I asked why my car wasn't dried. The Indian guy who was working there told me because I paid for the $7 wash instead of the $11 wash. NEVER did he mention a $7 wash did not include the air blow drying. I'm not even talking about hand towel drying. I'm talking about the regular drying once your car is put through the system it usually dries your car at the end with blown air and those big cloth machines that run on the sides of your car. So maybe their car wash system was broken and they still want to charge customers to make money. NEVER did he once tell me the $7 option does not include a basic dry that comes with all other washes of this kind. Also the board/posting that shows what's included with each price doesn't say ANYWHERE that they won't dry your car if you don't pay $11. The Indian attendee at the car wash was so rude and yelled at me. Wouldn't give me a refund or allow me to pay him $4 more (difference between $11 and $7) so I can at least have the machine dry my car. As a courtesy he didn't even get a cloth to wipe my car himself seeing that it was completely wet and more dirty on the sides. The top of the car wasn't clean either and had dirt on it. He told me to go inside to talk to the manager at the register (another Indian guy). The "manager" told me there was nothing he could do and I needed to talk to the same car wash attendee who yelled at me. I went back out and told him the manager referred me back to him, but he yelled at me and told me to go back to the manager at the cash register inside the gas station . Like a ping pong they were sending me back and forth between each other. Finally I asked for paper towels and wiped the car down myself. So it still has water spots and is dirty on the roof and side doors. The two men were very rude, had no customer service, yelled at me, and tricked me to pay knowing their machine/system wasn't working and then blamed me saying if I paid $11 the system would have dried my car. NOWHERE on the board they showed me did it say the $11 option came with drying and the $7 option did not. Again I'm not talking about hand drying as it's not a hand wash. I'm talking about the machine/system itself needs to dry the car with blowing air and those big cloth wipers that dry it at the end which this one didn't because it wasn't working. They blamed the customer, accused me of choosing the wrong price, and didn't refund me. Only insulted me and wasted my money and made my car wet and more dirty all over.
