I've had a membership here for a few months. Twice in the last week when I came by, the car wash was closed. When I went in to ask about it, the employee I spoke with was dismissive and rude instead of simply acknowledging the inconvenience. He talked over me, cut me off, and made inappropriate jokes. I canceled my membership and will be taking my business elsewhere. The wash itself is average and I always had to wipe the car down afterward anyway, but the staff interaction was the dealbreaker. I like the Mexican food, I come here for breakfast burritos. My wife however had a very bad experience with the manager. She, upon recommendation from a neighbor signed up for the monthly carwash. She had some fraud on her card and had to change it. When her card didn't work because it wasn't updated, the manager (unfortunately neither of us got his name) was rude and borderline aggressive. I went with her to cancel the membership and I witnessed this person's demeanor and although I doubted her at first I can see what she meant. He's an a**hole. read more

Easy in an out touchless car wash! The deluxe car wash ($9) is decent considering my car was filthy and now is much cleaner. I wouldn't say my car is spotless because my tires are still kind of dirty. I still like it better than the traditional drive thru car washes with brushes that can possibly scratch my car. In these pandemic times, I really like not having to deal with random people touching my car. For the uninitiated, you pull up to the car wash, select the option (express $8, deluxe $9, works $11) pay and wait for the ok to go. Stay within the blue lines and it's pretty fast. What a pleasant surprise. Came here for gas and car wash during lunch and found out they sell mexican food here. Had the lunch taco special and got two cabeza tacos with rice and beans; it was delicious. The meat was moist and well seasoned. The refried beans were very good. Lots of flavor. I grew up with Mexican food in Baldwin park and this place is up there taste and quality wise. Will definitely come back. Today Monday DECEMBER 14, 2020 I drove to Chevron from my house approximately 5 to 8 or more miles right after I shipped at PAVILIONS also Known as VONS, spend over $150 ( irrelevant ) but I wanted to get a max rewards from CHEVRON GAS STATION (Any Location by the way!) I chose this CHEVRON don't even know why? I pull in and I'm blown away by the price difference (very HIGH) compared to other gas station such as SHELL even without rewards program! Or 76 Gas Station and even MOBIL!!!!!!!! Well we all know or I would like to think that we all know and for those who are not aware of this simple FACT (((( DEBIT / CASH ))))) charges 10 to 20 cents less per gallon! On the other hand (((( CREDIT CARDS )))) Charges full advertised price. NOW HETE IS MY ISSUE WITH THIS PARTICULAR GAS STATION on the Corner of VANOWEN ST AND FALLBROOK AVE. I pulled up to pump 3 thinking I just spent over $150 at VONS so I should qualify for a 0.20cent per gallon discount PLUS 0.10cent since I'm using my Debit Card / Cash just like any other gas station regardless of the company! Right??????? Well I look at my receipt and I chose the 89 Unleaded PLUS which with Credit card would be $3.35 and with Cash $3.25 which is the same as Debit card / cash, according to every gas station and their customers. As if in this day and age people walk around with few hundred cash in their pockets right? Well wrong! I drove around to 5 different gas station I.e 76 Gas Station, SHELL, even other CHEVRONS!!!! and even MOBIL!!!! THEY ALL CONSIDER DEBIT CARD & CASH the same!!!! So this morning I got screwed out 0.10 cents a gallon. For those who were born with a gold spoon in their mouths and are in their teens, young adults, adults, adults in their 40s, 50, 60, and on that never worked a day in your privileged life I doubt this bothers you the least. HOWEVER, people like my self whom are educated to brag a MD. Or even has nothing with education looks at the big picture!!!! These atheist gas station owner who fails to realizes that people especially during these hard times with (COVID) should help each other not steal from one another! The car wash is just OK. It's touchless. The Mexican food is to die for. It is unbelievable. Probably like the best Mexican food I've ever had and a great value. Highly recommend coming here to eat. The car wash was decent and reasonably priced. I liked how everything was just pressure hosed on, no dirty rags that could scratch the paint. I will definitely use the drive thru wash in the future. Don't knock this gas station taco shop until you try it. Good things can happen in unexpected places! I can't speak of the whole menu, but this is where I come when I'm craving a good breakfast burrito. The burritos are big, filling, and full of flavor. I personally like mine with bacon, eggs cheese, and beans. If I'm feeling really daring I'll double the bacon. Grab a cold pineapple peach kombucha and I'm good to go! Great customer service every time I come in here whether it's Erick or Luis helping me out at the register. Good variety of drinks and snacks to choose and what makes it a plus for me is that they have a Mexican food restaurant inside that offers really good meals at even better prices. Besides the gas station, the propane refills, the car wash the snacks inside the chevron the cold beer and sodas They have a BOMB ASSS mexican taco joint inside..... I found this place from word of mouth from my old roommate ans started to go to this place to pick up food to games or just food when I was hungry....Everything is cooked to order and they have the usually sauces that are very good. This place rivals most hole in the wall joints... Who would of thought that a gas station especially Corporate Gas Station would have a BOMB ass taco joint.. My go-to station, as it's the cheapest Chevron in the northern part of the valley. Note that they offer 2 prices: $0.10/gal cheaper if you pay by debit/cash. This station is always clean, easy to get to, there are always pumps available, and the interior is well-kept and fully stocked! Spacious, Fully stocked, Very Clean. Thought I would try the tacos... Out of this world delicious to say the least. I could eat 4 and want more. Comfortable little eating area. This review is about the little taqueria inside the Chevron which has, hands down, the best Mexican food in the Valley. It's a tiny take out place in the back of the store. The food is fresh, authentic and made right in front of you. The meats are cooked to perfection. The pastor is my absolute favorite in anything. The burritos are chock full of yummy goodness. So i've been going to this gas station for over 10 years and today my daughter and I pulled up to get gas I went in to pay for the gas and a car wash ,as I was pumping my gas I decided to wash my windshield before going into the car wash ,so needless to say I got in the car and went to pull away to go to the car wash not realizing that I still had the pump in my gas tank, I've never ever done that before, I was completely startled embarrassed in shock, I was shaking & emotional. I proceeded to go inside & tell them what I had done, but he obviously already had an idea because of the cameras behind him so after waiting a few minutes and apologizing he grabbed a clipboard walked outside with me to my car and I told him I'm gonna get my drivers license and my insurance information and give him all my information, I was apologizing profusely and still in shock as I'm handing him my information he then proceeds to ask me how much my deductible is I told him $1000 he said well why don't you just give me $200 cash and we'll call it even, I thought OK I was in such shock and shaky and just couldn't believe that this is happened and how stupid of me to have driven off with a gas pump that I just said OK and started digging through my purse to get out $200 in cash for him. I then got back in my car that also had some minor damage & I had a good cry , then proceeded to get in line for the car wash while my daughter was telling me it's ok mom it happens, once I calm down I realize that maybe it wasn't a good idea just to hand him cash but if he would come after me still and he did not give me a receipt or any form to fill out saying I had paid so I called the sheriff and asked for his advice I was told that it was fraudulent for him to take my money so I hung up the phone and the sheriff , he called the chevron & spoke to Luis & told him he is to return my money immediately , proceeded to call me back and tell me to go back in and get my money and give him my information so that is what I did, and only $190 was returned to me, does anyone have any thoughts on this situation? read more

Seems everyone is switching to those awful machines with the mops that slap your car around and scratch the paint. If you go with at least the Deluxe option, you'll come out spotless and dry. This has been my "go to" gas station for the past several years. Great friendly staff, good prices, and a quick, cheap car wash. Oh, did I mention the food inside? What? Hot, fresh, good mexican food inside a gas station? WTH? Yes, check it out next time you stop to get gas. Smoking hot carnitas burrito and tacos are my fav, but I've had a few other things here too and pretty happy with the taste and prices. I also get my propane tanks refilled here all the time. The staff know me well enough just from this service alone! The car wash was upgraded a few years ago and is a bit better than it originally was. Take your time at the exit to allow the blowers to fully dry your vehicle. Too many people blow through that section of the car wash and waste their money. Also, I do not do their "wax" option anymore. Turns out that the "rainbow" wax leaves a weird film and color on some of the black plastic parts on my truck. Great mexican food! This has been goto place when craving good mexican place. Not the cheapest but pretty authentic.

First, the staff here is VERY friendly. They're always in a good mood. Makes it a great place to grab a coffee in the morning, get a nice dose of good vibes. Like the people really enjoy their job. After going here for a while, I finally was intrigued enough to try the Mexican restaurant. Yes, I was eating restaurant food from a gas station...and loving it!. The carnitas burrito, chicken tacos and fries are all TOP NOTCH. I also like their chorizo & egg breakfast burrito. I just wish they started serving food earlier. They start around 8am, and I usually stop by here earlier in the morning. If you want surpisingly authentic Mexican food (like you went to a stand in Rosarito) or restaurant quality french fries, this is the place. And it's also fast & cheap. A real hidden gem. Oh, I guess I should also say the prices from the market are very good. I get the same breakfast items every day, but sometimes I have gone to other gas station markets if I'm headed out in a different direction. I'm shocked by the price difference -- like 20% more at 7-11 for the identical items, and 10% more at a Shells station market, and about 5% more at a different Chevron station on Ventura Blvd. So for whatever reason, this place keeps its prices low (relative to other gas station markets). Well, except their car wash is a bit pricey...$6.99 for an express wash? Geez...But if I'm in a hurry, I suck it up, but still have paid as little as $3.99 for a similar quality wash at, say, Fashion Square Car Wash (Woodman & 101). read more
