I shared the ride with another person who was going to the same place and in total my trip was very affordable. The driver was friendly and the car was modern. I also like that they email or text your receipt. I prefer Prestige car service over the taxi booths in front of the Albany Rensselaer station. I wish those folks had a yelp page because I have a critical review for them. They charged me $39 from the station to the hotel and it was a shared ride with another person too! Their paper receipts were also ambiguous too. Anyways, I don't want to spend too much time talking about a different taxi service since my review here is mainly about Prestige car services. Overall, I just want to say that for an area where Uber and lyft are nonexistent, thank you for making the cab experience decent and less stressful for me.

I booked a 32-passenger shuttle with them in January for my daughter's wedding in June. Arrangements were made for pick up and drop offs between two different hotels and the venue. A WEEK BEFORE THE WEDDING, they called to tell me that the shuttle that they booked for me had an engine issue and was no longer available. (NOTE: It was Belmont weekend). They proceeded to say it would not be fixed in time and their only remedy was either an actual yellow school bus, a 3-passenger car or cancellation of the reservation. As we had already communicated to our guests that shuttle service was available, this was beyond unacceptable. Meaghan, who I spoke to was curt, rude and insensitive annd spoke at a very fast pace and just wanted me to decide quickly on one of the options. Needless to say, I had to scramble to find a friend that had a vehicle that could only accommodate 7 people and would have to do multiple trips back and forth. I truly believe there wasn't an issue with the vehicle, they just wanted to book it with another larger party that needed it for Belmont, likely higher fees. They had already gouged me in January on the rate by double charging me due to Belmont. Anyone who can just randomly do that with no regard for the impact on such an important day as a wedding, is in my opinion very unprofessional and shouldn't be in business. They should have tried to obtain a vehicle from somewhere else. A simple apology doesn't cut it in this situation!

This company is absolutely amazing! I used them twice in the last two years. Most recently I hired…read morethem to pick up my daughter, her husband and three girls. I was so worried they would miss the flight due to weather, traffic or the fact it was the holidays. Not only did they confirm appts before, but they texted me letting me know they were there to pick up at 0300, but when they stopped at Albany airport too. Then texted me again a couple days prior to Christmas Eve for the airport ride back home. They took away from their personal Christmas time with their family to make sure mine was picked up and home safe on Christmas Eve. They are a little higher than super shuttle or ubers, but definitely more comfortable and more reliable. They will always have my business when I visit New York and when my family flies to San Diego to visit me! Do not waste ur time on any other company in the Albany or Glen Falls area!!!!!
